Jesskir89 · 12/09/2019 21:52

Thank you @avocadoincident and @mockingjay27 definately a girl.

Yvonne1988 · 12/09/2019 22:09

I came on here to complain about being crampy today and it being so close to my scan. Done alot at work and im starting to get nervous.
But after seeing your news seems trivial. So sorry @Naylor19

Dinosauraddict · 13/09/2019 04:55

I am so so sorry @Naylor19. None of us can say anything to make this any better, but we're all here if you need us. This is entirely shit. Sad

Dinosauraddict · 13/09/2019 04:57

@Yvonne1988 re cramping, I've been having them really bad for weeks (terrifying) however my private clinic has got me drinking isotonic drinks every day as apparently that could help. Just a suggestion you might want to try. I've found that in Costco you can get a 12 pack of Emerge for about £3 and they taste the same as lucozade sport orange...

Yvonne1988 · 13/09/2019 07:51

@Dinosauraddict I don't have a costco but I do have a bookers I could try there. I do love lucozade sport .. might just buy one of them this morning. Almost felt like I was going to come on but just not quite as strong.

Dinosauraddict · 13/09/2019 08:06

@Yvonne1988 that's exactly how mine have been feeling - like period cramps!

emmaclare83 · 13/09/2019 08:37

@Naylor19 I am ever so sorry for your loss. Thoughts are with you and your DH.

Yvonne1988 · 13/09/2019 08:41

@Dinosauraddict yeh but just not quite as painful as them. More annoying lol.
I have one last day in work it will be busy im expecting about 27 people but I picked a really easy thing to cook .. fish and chips. So not too much work done by me.

Yvonne1988 · 13/09/2019 11:19

Still happening today. Roll on 2pm. Apart from the school run I am gonna sit down and watch the tv until 1.45 on Monday lol

ELW85 · 13/09/2019 12:26

Afternoon all!
Just back from our dating scan; I’m further along than first thought at 12+6, putting the due date as 21/03 (a day before DH birthday).
NT was good at 1.6mm 😀

Happy Friday all!

Dinosauraddict · 13/09/2019 13:30

Congrats on your scan @ELW85 - I'm going to sound like a stuck record here everyone but please be careful with what you're sharing - that scan pic includes your full name and location.

ELW85 · 13/09/2019 13:38

@Dinosauraddict - thanks, I’d thought about blocking it out but there are a few hospitals of that name and my name isn’t unique and doesn’t have any other identifiers, so I was pretty comfortable.
Could be missing something though?

Dinosauraddict · 13/09/2019 13:59

As long as you're comfortable @ELW85 then it's absolutely fine! A lot of people do it without realising/thinking it through.

ELW85 · 13/09/2019 14:05

@Dinosauraddict - you’re totally right!! I just worried that I’d missed something 😊 it’s great that you’re reminding people, to be fair!

MockingJay27 · 13/09/2019 14:14

So after enjoying my scan yesterday i have now stupidly started doing lots of googling about NT measurements. Is anyone happy to share theirs. I know it is combined with bloods but mine came up at 2.0, I’m 27 and 13 weeks exactly at the time of scan. He said below 3.5 is fine, but I’m seeing lots of 1.6/1.7

Dinosauraddict · 13/09/2019 14:15

@MockingJay27 mine was 1.7 and I've had the full results back now and everything is fine. I was also told below 3.5 is fine measurement wise.

MockingJay27 · 13/09/2019 14:17

@Dinosauraddict exactly how far were you at that point if you don’t mind me asking?

Yvonne1988 · 13/09/2019 14:19

@ELW85 that's my due date too. Well so far! See if it changes on Monday :)

ELW85 · 13/09/2019 14:23

@MockingJay27 - honestly, that measurement is totally fine! I’ve got to wait til bloods come back to get my full risk assessment so I’m just keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻

@Yvonne1988 - how are you feeling? Excited? Roll on Monday, eh?

Yvonne1988 · 13/09/2019 14:26

@ELW85 not sure if I'm excited yet lol. More nervous. Waiting for Monday to tell anyone, just incase and I'm just fed up of waiting now. It's not even til 1.45! So I have to get through the whole day lol
