Hello ladies,

Early days, due my period today and had a BFP since DPO11. It is progressing and my period hasn't arrived so I'm hoping this is a sticky baby! Anyone else recently this week got their BFP? Be nice to have a little group going x

@Kb2019 I’m so very sorry to hear that. Everything crossed for next week.

@InOmniaParatus13 so pleased for you! Such a huge relief.

No real symptoms here other than the insomnia and the odd wave of nausea. I’m only 5 weeks today though. I really need to book in for a scan. Got a 3+ on. CB digi this morning so I think it’s time to step away from the pee sticks now!
Hope everyone is well and has a good weekend!

InOmniaParatus13 · 14/06/2019 18:23

Thank you @Chichichi! I’m so thankful to the EPU for the service they provide, they’ve been fantastic! Tiredness is pretty much my only symptom too, although I’ve been having some heartburn today!

I have no idea how many weeks i am! Hopefully they’ll be able to date me roughly on the 24th!

Thank you @coconutcurls! Ugh you poor think feeling sick and having a coach journey! I’ll be dreading my hour commute each day if I get morning sickness lol!

@Kb2019 I’m so sorry to hear that love! I really hope your scan in a weeks time shows something! Praying things get better for you!

@tisonlymeagain I really am so relieved , I had convinced myself they wouldn’t have risen! I balled like a baby when she told me lol! I really hope you get to see an embryo and heartbeat at your next scan, that’s what I’m hoping for at mine too!

@happylass thank you lovely! I’m so happy! That’s fab that you got a 3+ on clearblue!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend :)

@Kb2019 I hope you are doing ok? And wishing you luck for the next scan. Hopefully things were a little early and something will show in next scan. My third MC last year was a blighted ovum. I'd had the tiniest bit of spotting, barely visible but since I'd had 2 MCs before I got it checked out with HCG tests and a scan. I was just under 8 weeks at the time so when they only saw the gestational sac they knew it wasn't right plus my HCG levels were not going up anywhere near sufficiently. I was booked in for a d and c but I naturally miscarried the day before. I really hope that your situation is different and you are being scanned a lot earlier than me so there is still hope. If it is a blighted ovum, just to say it will not affect your chances in the future. I'm not pregnant again - early days - 6 weeks but they saw a faint yolk sac so it seems things are ok so far but who knows. I hope you have your supper around you. Stay strong x

thismumisnew · 15/06/2019 08:09

Early stages of pregnancy. Around 6 weeks. This is all very very new to me.... like being in control... and I'm really not... what is happening to my body??? I can't even clean my teeth without feeling sick.... Confused
Good luck to all other new mums out there.

Hopex92 · 15/06/2019 10:23

Welcome to all the new ladies :) glad we can all share our journeys. And good luck to everyone waiting on results and tests xxx. Nausea has now hit me hard.. If I eat I feel so so sick but don't actually vomit. However if I dont eat I get shaky and hunger pains.. There is no winning. I want to complain but also don't because I know this will all be worth it! Just ate 1 pancake and now I'm so sick feeling. And we head out for lunch today with friends who do not no our news! Wonder if she will catch on as she just had a baby herself.

pinksquash13 · 15/06/2019 14:13

Hello all. I am 5 weeks + 1 and due on the 14th Feb according to NHS calculator. I've had cramping and sore boobs. Felt pregnant constantly but still worried about potential loss. I'm hoping to book a private early scan at 9 weeks and tell friends then, all being well, as there are a million and one social drinking events happening in the next few weeks. Anyone else?

happylass · 15/06/2019 21:25

@pinksquash13 my due date is Feb 14th too, which is also my own birthday!

We are planning on telling my parents tomorrow as they know we had IVF so will be wondering. I’m a teacher and, all being well, I’m not planning on telling work until we return in September.

Lotsie · 15/06/2019 21:54

Hi all! I am 5 weeks today - due Feb 15th (we are so close @pinksquash13!). Still feels very very surreal saying that, I'm still in shock I think! DD is 10 months old and the reality is starting to hit me...! Anyone else have children already? Pregnancy and I did not get along last time with my sickness starting some time in week 5....fingers crossed its easier this time!

So far I'm feeling insatiably thirsty, which I don't remember getting the first time around! Has anyone else experienced the same thing?!

SuzieQ10 · 15/06/2019 23:34

Due 14th Feb. Found out this time last week, and safe to say this has been the SLOWEST week of my life!

Hope everyone is doing ok x

sulkysukey · 16/06/2019 02:16

I'm due 18 Feb, the last couple of days have had mild nausea about an hour after breakfast/getting up, sore boobs, cried randomly yesterday... also feeling weirdly calm which isn't like me!

I have 2 DCs aged 5 + 10, with a MMC at 11 weeks and a couple of CPs along the way.

Hope everyone's feeling ok and Thanks to anyone who's already received bad news.

Kb2019 · 16/06/2019 07:46

@Newbie21 thank you so much for your kind words.. really means a lot and also comforting to hear your experience in a way.. yes my HCG levels are high so we would have at least seen a yolk sac at the scan and my dates should also see a pole too :( it’s a waiting game now but by Friday I should know if it’s a blighted ovum or whether a little miracle shows itself to us :) keeping everything crossed! I have a nine year old son so just hard keeping the emotions in at home! Still have symptoms too but I know with blighted ovum’s you still get them! Will let you know the outcome either way.. hoping your little bean is doing well and the yolk sac is an amazing sign! Thinking of you too

InOmniaParatus13 · 16/06/2019 12:06

Morning all!
I’m counting down the days until the 24th, time feels like it’s dragging at the moment!
Still no symptoms here really, felt sick yesterday evening and this morning for half hour or so but nothing major. Still super tired though!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend :)

Lovemartina2012 · 16/06/2019 12:17

Inomniaparatus13 Iv got scan booked also for the 24th to check is there a heartbeat and it seems to be dragging for me I’m so nerves also hope all is good for you early stages is really nothing but worry

Lovemartina2012 · 16/06/2019 12:18

InOmniaParatus13 · 16/06/2019 12:23

@lovemartina2012 I really hope your scan goes well! I had one last week and they couldn’t say for certain whether they saw the sac or not, but I’m a lot earlier than I thought, so after my hgc levels nearly tripled in 48 hours, they’ve booked me in for another scan where hopefully we will see something! I’m nervous too and this is going to be a long week waiting!

Lovemartina2012 · 16/06/2019 13:55

Hopefully everything will be ok they say something they can see sac at 5 weeks but they not worried if they don’t as so small hopefully they will find everything ok for you

tisonlymeagain · 16/06/2019 18:05

Mainly still feeling a bit nauseous with boob ache still here. Midwife text today and booking appointment is next Sunday. Can think of things I'd rather be doing with my Sunday afternoon but if that's when it is, that's when it is!

Scan on Friday at 7 weeks, so nervous but counting down the sleeps! Really hoping there's a heartbeat.

pinksquash13 · 16/06/2019 19:26

@happylass congratulations! I'm a teacher too but I've told work as I wanted them to consider who I'd be working with next year i.e. not an NQT. @Lotsie congrats to you! It's my first. Feels very surreal.

Good luck to everyone getting early scans and tests!

I'm hoping for no sickness. When does it normally start? I'm 5 weeks + 2

Lotsie · 16/06/2019 20:03

@pinksquash I think most peoples sickness starts around 6 weeks, you can usually tell by 8 if you're going to have it badly or not. In my last pregnancy it tailed off by 14 but I would still vomit if brushing my teeth or hadn't slept enough. Its so different for everyone though!

@Kb2019 @Lovemartina2012 Thinking of you both, its such a stressful time. Especially as society says we shouldn't talk to anyone about it yet!

coconutcurls · 16/06/2019 21:49

@pinksquash13 @happylass hi! I'm also a teacher. I was thinking of waiting until after the summer holidays to tell school but I'm not sure. I feel like my head will want more of a heads up as I've been put in year 2 next year. Also, I'm now the third pregnant member of staff at once 🙈

Charm23 · 17/06/2019 07:38

Welcome to the newcomers! It's hard to keep up on this thread! I'm now 7+2 (EDD 1st Feb) and I'm not enjoying my pregnancy. Nausea is the worst. Not even been sick but still feel crap! Very tired too. I self-referred on Friday as I had a small amount of spotting and so wanted to get the ball rolling. I'm not too worried, trying to stay positive. 12 week puppy is keeping my hands full. Hope you all feel better then I do!

InOmniaParatus13 · 17/06/2019 08:47

Morning!
Still no morning sickness here which makes me worry, the lack of symptoms makes me think this isn’t going to be viable!
One week to go and then I’ll have my scan, I’m still preparing for the worst! I guess what will be will be, nothing I can do about it now other than wait!
There was a lady on the train eating salt and vinegar Pringles and now I can’t stop thinking about them haha, not sure if it’s a craving or what but I’m going to get some before work lol.
Had no more spotting since last week and no pain either thankfully!

Hope everyone has a good day :)

Littlegoth · 17/06/2019 09:39

When I said I was optimistic about being on a thread in the near future I didn’t expect to be back on this one! My follow up scan today showed none of the worrying markers we had last week, and I saw a little flickering heartbeat. Fingers crossed I’ll be sticking around! X

Littlegoth · 17/06/2019 09:41

Also the symptoms that had vanished overnight are back with a vengeance. I had no hope at all an hour ago, I hope some of this luck is shared by other people here x

tisonlymeagain · 17/06/2019 09:43

That's great news @Littlegoth!

Ha @InOmniaParatus13 I'm eating a lot of salt and vinegar crisps. I remember that's what got me through my first two pregnancies.

I feel like shit at the moment. On top of feeling constantly sick (but very very hungry) I have an awful cold, one of those ticklish coughs that keep you up all night and I'm already knackered. Plus my boobs are killing every time I move. I had a little cry this morning to my poor DP who must be thinking another 33 weeks of this??
