Hello ladies,

Early days, due my period today and had a BFP since DPO11. It is progressing and my period hasn't arrived so I'm hoping this is a sticky baby! Anyone else recently this week got their BFP? Be nice to have a little group going x

@InOmniaParatus13 that sounds as positive as it could be but I can imagine it must be so scary for you. Also very good news that your pain has eased off. Got everything crossed for you that you just got the dates wrong and the pain you have had is normal growing pains.

InOmniaParatus13 · 12/06/2019 17:23

Sorry to spam the thread but thought I’d update you lovely ladies!
So 7 hours after sending my bloods off we finally got the results back! My hgc levels are 680 which means we are a lot earlier than we thought, I’m back in Friday for more bloods and if they show that they’ve nearly doubled, or have doubled and quadrupled then it usually means a viable pregnancy and I’ll be able to have a rescan!
I’m anxious as hell but all I can do now is wait and pray!
Thank you to all of you for your lovely words earlier!

InOmniaParatus13 · 12/06/2019 17:24

Doubled or quadrupled* if only mumsnet had an edit button!

Bettythecat · 12/06/2019 17:28

@InOmniaParatus13 wow what an absolute rollercoaster. Fingers crossed for you that the numbers increase for your next test. What a traumatic thing to have to go through. How many weeks did they think you were? How Could you have got your dates mixed up- do you have irregular periods etc?

InOmniaParatus13 · 12/06/2019 17:50

@Bettythecat you summed it up perfectly, an absolute rollercoaster indeed! Going to be an anxious wreck until I get the next lot of blood results on Friday, but all I can do Is hope and pray this wee one sticks! They tried to date me from my last period which would make me 6 weeks, but I know I ovulated a lot later than that, plus I have irregular periods so it’s all a guessing game!

I’ve had no more spotting or pain so here’s hoping it was just implantation!
My boobs have hurt on and off today too, woohoo!
They starved me for 22 hours incase they had to rush me down to theatre, so I’m feeling super sick after eating lol!
What a day, emotional rollercoaster and not out the woods yet, but dare I say slightly hopeful!

WombatStewForTea · 12/06/2019 18:27

@InOmniaParatus13 Hope it turns out well for you. My best friend in work was in the same boat and found out way earlier than most and ended up having several scans and bloods to find out if it was viable. She's now 24 weeks. Hope the same happens for you

bessie84 · 13/06/2019 10:02

Good luck @InOmniaParatus13

Hope everyones plodding on nicely.

I woke up in night for a wee, dont know why but felt 'different' not in a nice way either. Odd gut feeling. Fell back to sleep, woke up covered in sweat, and that odd gut feeling hasnt gone away. I dont feel sick, nothing. So i dont know if my gut is trying to tell ne something or what. Ive had 3 mc and 1 stillbirth, so im no newcomer to loss. I dont feel upset, feel like a wait and see kinda feeling, just dont like this weird gut feeling somethings changed. Cant put my finger on it. (Do i make sense?)

Waves to everyone.

Marleym28 · 13/06/2019 10:30

@bessie84 I'm kinda the same
Need a wee generally in the night (which I wouldn't before) but I got from normal to but chilly to mega sweaty. It's gross

Ive been ok generally but I'm equally a bit all over the place. Which I really didn't think I would be so early. Really short for breath on the smallest of things (stairs at work, general walking) my heart goes a million miles at the same time.

Trying not to worry about it though. I guess I know no different (it's my first)

The midwife called yesterday for the initial review but missed it. Said she'd call today (I'm at work) so hoping it's not going to be when I'm either in a meeting or when I can't talk. I really just want to get something booked in for assurance

How is everyone else feeling

L00byL0u · 13/06/2019 10:54

I'm tired sooo tired all the time and I have to do 12 hour shifts! Felt a bit nauseas now and again but nothing major.
I just want to nap or lie on the sofa all the time.
I'm seeing the spice girls tomorrow which I was so excited about but currently wondering how I will make it through. Thankfully I got seated tickets.

Hopex92 · 13/06/2019 11:04

Hi all. Wondering how everyone's symptoms are and what stage there at? I'm 7 weeks however I'm sure I'm only 5.

My daily cramps have calmed way down and my constipation not as bad at all. That kind of worries me that it's all settling bar odd wee cramp...

However I am having a wee 2 of 3 times during the night, leg cramps when I wake up and heartburn during the night. Very windy to (sorry)

I don't know if I'm over thinking it but I'm like should i not be feeling more now not less. I had neausea for a day or 2 just. Nothing much at all today. I'm worried because today's a day I just don't feel pregnant. Anyone else get this? Freaks me out feeling to normal...

Bettythecat · 13/06/2019 11:07

@bessie84 I know how you feel- I've felt that awful feeling the last two mornings. Currently on the sofa as burst into hysterical tears in the way into work when on the phone to my mum. I just can't help but feel like my symptoms are exactly the same as last time when I had an mmc- my boobs have basically stopped hurting the last few days. So basically I'm a bit of an emotional wreck!! Sorry to be a Debbie downer.

@L00byL0u I'm also knackered more like lacking in energy feeling. Was meant to gym last night but ended up on the sofa with Ben and Jerry's lol.

tisonlymeagain · 13/06/2019 11:07

Hi @Hopex92

I am 6 weeks today. Tired all the time, could literally sleep standing up. Feeling very nauseous now but not actually been sick. just don't really fancy eating and drinking and when I do it's bland carbs only. Headaches and sore boobs still. Occasional cramping but nothing major. Very sluggish digestive system, pooping only every few days, am weeing a lot though!

Looking forward to my scan at 7+1 next week when I can hopefully see a heartbeat!

bessie84 · 13/06/2019 11:29

@Bettythecat - dont apologise. Thats how i feel, it was this time last year i was miscarrying and the symptoms ive woken up with today are the same as last year - however - im hoping, we might just be been over cautious and anxious - its a shit time isnt it. been like this and not knowing. thing is, we had a scan monday which showed a heartbeat.... last year we had same, 2 scans, healthy bean with heartbeat, then bang - gone. I hope were just been anxious and all will be ok.

Bettythecat · 13/06/2019 11:50

@bessie84 yes I'm finding it so hard to work out whether I've got "a feeling" and my body is trying to tell me something or whether I am just so anxious and nervous that I am overthinking everything. I spoke to the EPU this morning and she said that even if things were going wrong there would still be HCG in your system so changes in symptoms are unlikely to be an indication of miscarriage if that makes sense. She also said that just because I think my symptoms are the same as last time doesn't mean those symptoms had anything to do with the mc. It's so hard though I am just thinking about it all the time. I'm glad to hear your scan went well- how many weeks was that? I've got one next Thursday when I'll be 7 weeks on the nose. I guess we just have to take each day as it comes and get through each day trying not to think too much ahead.

KB2020 · 13/06/2019 11:51

Hi everyone, I hope it's ok for me to join in! Congratulations to everyone who expecting and I wish everyone the smoothest of journeys and the best outcome.

I'm now 7 weeks and 1 day pregnant with my first midwife appointment tomorrow and scan mid July.

I'm the first amongst my friends to be expecting and I'm still yet to tell my sister as I haven't had a chance to see her and it's been driving me crazy not being able to talk to anyone!

I found out I was pregnant before I went away for a week and took 2 tests. I then carried out another test when I got back from holiday just to make sure I am pregnant and it was still positive!

I've never felt so bloated in my life, morning sickness most days (started in week 6) and I feel like my personality is all over the place! I feel sorry for my husband! My boobs have started to feel a bit harder than usual too which feels so odd!

Based on the different apps I've downloaded, I'm due the beginning of February but waiting for the doctors appointment to confirm! Sitting around and waiting is just driving me slowly insane!

TwistofFate · 13/06/2019 12:09

My symptoms keep coming and going too @Hopex92 I'm 6+2 and feeling a bit nauseous but less constipated and boobs hurting less too. I'm booked in for an early scan (8 weeks) for reassurance, in the meantime trying to convince myself that it's all ok.

WombatStewForTea · 13/06/2019 16:56

I'm 6+4 and my nausea has well and truly kicked in this week and I've now got a stinking cold and obviously can't take anything.

I rang the midwives today who want to see me to do the referral letter. Prob is I haven't told work yet as it might affect which class I teach next year and I don't want to change! Can't take time off either so looks like I'm going to have to tell the boss. Midwife said she'll find out if I can self refer for booking in appointment which will mean I can cancel this one next week and not tell work
Rang the

Lovemartina2012 · 13/06/2019 17:39

5 weeks 4 days and I’m so tired all the time sleeping every chance I get even to nap and zero energy sickness not today only in morning before breakfast and sore boobs had gone also

InOmniaParatus13 · 13/06/2019 19:47

Evening all!
Hope you are all well, and those of you who are worrying, I hope all your worries are eased soon!

I’m anxious for my bloods tomorrow, just praying my levels have doubled!

Still no sickness, but since last night I can’t stop weeing, it’s crazy lol! Super tired too, slept from 7pm til 6am when I had to be up for work, would have happily slept in a lot longer which isn’t like me!

I’m sorry to hear that a lot of us are worrying, this is such a difficult time as obviously we don’t know what’s going on, I hope we all get positive outcomes!

I’m hoping I get my hgc levels back tomorrow, my appointment is at 12 so fingers crossed!

Have a lovely evening all xx

muddypuddlejumping · 13/06/2019 20:06

Sorry to hear so many of you are worrying. I can't imagine the stress if you've previously suffered a loss.

I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and am extremely tired. Especially by the time I'm home from work. I have lots of sickness during the day and my boobs are on fire at night. Still doesn't stop me having a little worry if the sickness subsides. It's just ridiculous! I'm also showing quite a bit now which of course is a positive sign but it's getting harder to hide and choose comfortable clothes each day!

Hopex92 · 13/06/2019 21:49

I think cravings have kicked in already! I can't stop eating pancakes.. I need pancakes.. Pancakes and butter or pancakes and Nutella.. I've got over 20 pancakes in the house currently... I got a new rabbit and named her pancake.. I've lost the plot haha

Tonight after dinner (not pancakes) I felt so so sick after. Was horrible!! And lasted ages. Serious wind and heartburn kicked in to! Lots of cramps tonight after me posting this morning saying they've eased and no symptoms.. But I have lots cramps now..

25th June early scan needs to hurry up!!!!

coconutcurls · 14/06/2019 06:15

@Hopex92 I started to feel really sick later last night too. I was slowly nibbling on biscuits to try and make it go away but just needed my bed I think.

Marleym28 · 14/06/2019 08:01

Slept all the way through last night for the first time in ages, woke up feeling so good.
About half hour later... was ready for a nap again 🙄

Pocketrocket2007 · 14/06/2019 08:12

Hi, can I join in? Just joined mumsnet, so still trying to workout all the abbreviations.
I found out on Monday that I'm pregnant Smile woke up with a feeling, took a test & got 2 strong lines. Couldn't believe it, so did another 3 Grin then webt to doctors, who confirmed. I thibk I'm around 5. 5 weeks. Got first midwife appointment on 2nd July. According to my cycles app due date is 11/02/20. First baby & I'm 38, so pretty nervous about it cause of my age

InOmniaParatus13 · 14/06/2019 08:44
