Hi everyone. Been a bit quiet on other thread for a few days.

Got myself into a little routine now with morning sickness, I wake up about 5:30 to go for a wizz I then eat a ginger biscuit, husband is up at 6am to make dry toast. Then I have a banana about 10:30 before what I've noticed is a surge of nausea at 11am. Then seem to be fine with normal meals after that with small pockets of nausea in the evening. Has anyone else noted when they feel the worst or pattern like that?

Also can someone add me to the list as on phone so can't copy paste well.

Mintypea5 · 12/03/2019 21:28

I just seem to want to eat toast. Which isn’t good for my diet but hopefully won’t last too many months

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 21:50

Hi @SapphireK

That's great that you've worked out your routine and can understand the way your body's working. Flowers
For me, I feel the worst at night with my back pain, cramping and soreness.

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 21:50

Don't worry @Mintypea5 our body tends to eat what it needs, so you probably need that toast. Smile

Marty77 · 12/03/2019 22:10

I've only had a bowl of soup feel so nauseous suffered this bad with the other two.

Isn't it weird we're all cold Grin

My skin is awful which was a big sign as well as being late

ally62442 · 12/03/2019 22:27

@Preggosaurus9 he'll be one at the end of this month. My mum said that to me the other day it's like he knows. Perhaps he does.

Bean1987 · 13/03/2019 04:29

Awake again....grrrr. It’s another long day ahead.

@Littleseed.
Like your name...although you may have to change it to watermelon in about 33 weeks 😂

When does everyone have their first midwife appointment?

Littleseed · 13/03/2019 05:03

@Bean1987

Same! I've been awake for hours, and ended up coming down and eating and having some tea lol! I'm still downstairs now.

Aww, haha you made me laugh about the watermelon! Grin
I like your name too, it's cute! Halo

That's exactly what I wanted to know too about when everyone has their first midwife appointment. I've got a GP appointment today, so hoping to get some clarification on that.
Although I've been told that the midwife will call me. Confused

Bean1987 · 13/03/2019 05:17

@Littleseed
I had my GP appointment on Monday. Just had to fill in a bit of a questionnaire, took my blood pressure and that was it really.
Found out I was pregnant 2 days before signing consent/starting treatment for IVF. Incredible timing/mini miracle

Booked in for midwife on 29/3 (it was either that or this friday-but couldn’t get the time off work for this week) will be just under 9 weeks by then. Seems later than other people.

Good luck at yours today. Hope you get some clarification.

Bean1987 · 13/03/2019 05:19

P.s tea and toast sounds like a plan. Am going to follow suit, give up and get up too 😂

Littleseed · 13/03/2019 05:35

Wow, that's absolutely amazing @Beans1987! So happy for you! Flowers
It is a miracle, isn't it!
Our case is very similar! Shock
We've been TTC for over 9 years, and had just been referred to the fertility /gynae department for that, as well as for fibroids- then this miracle happened! I now need to know from my GP what'll happen about that referral- will it simply be cancelled and my fibroid issues dealt with after baby? Lots of questions for the GP today.

Funnily, our midwife is in on Fridays too, so I've been told by the reception. I don't know whether to wait for when she calls me, or to ask the GP today about it.

LOL great plan! 😂 Enjoy your tea and toast!

Littleseed · 13/03/2019 05:36

P.S. Your EDD is 2 days before mine! Grin
@beans1987

Mintypea5 · 13/03/2019 06:04

@Bean1987 just reading your post that’s amazing 🥰 where I am you don’t have your booking in until 8-10 weeks. It differs between areas. Mine took almost 3 hours last time!

@Littleseed how amazing for your too! 🥰

Littleseed · 13/03/2019 06:13

@Mintypea 5

Thank you. Flowers Halo

WOW 3 hours! What do they do in the booking in appointment? That's what the very first midwife appointment is called, isn't it?

Bean1987 · 13/03/2019 06:39

Wow...incredible. Love reading the amazing stories on here.

Yes I imagine it’ll be postponed...hope you get your answers today.

Roll on November!!! 😁

amehh · 13/03/2019 06:45

Hi everyone, can I come back? Missed one day and a zillion posts!

@amehh Age 27 Baby #2 Due Date 01/11/2019

Had booking in last night, took about 80 minutes. My blood pressure is 90/55 so it's low and she said that's why I'm quite dizzy and light headed so just need to be a bit slower. She also really struggled to get my bloods and took 3 tries Confused 6+5 today!

jacquesjacques · 13/03/2019 06:58

Checking in!

So sorry to hear of some losses, my heart aches for you. Sad Thanks

I will probably be a bit more active on here after my early scan next week, I'm 5+1 today and don't want to jinx it by getting too excited, given my history and that I've now been in three of these groups and had to leave due to mc. Loving reading all of your updates though!

tigsyboo · 13/03/2019 07:12

Hi all

Has anyone else heard anything about internal scans and miscarriages having a link??
I stupidly read a thread and I'm now worried.

thumper59 · 13/03/2019 07:44

Morning ladies hope your all well. 6+2 today. Not feeling too hideous this morning which is a nice change! Just so so tired and my skin is dreadful! My booking in appointment is 26th I'll be 8+1 on that day

Waitingformyrainbow · 13/03/2019 07:59

Morning ladies,

@tigsyboo I don't think there is any evidence that internal scans can cause miscarriage. I'm really wary of them, I had a very long scan when I miscarried previously which left me with damaged nerve fibres absolutely horrendous pain. It took me a year before I was comfortable enough to try again for a baby. I'm currently 6+1, I want a scan really bad! I'm booked for 7+3 with a private gynaecologist, I'm hoping this can be done abdominally.

Leleophants · 13/03/2019 08:12

Can't remember if I've already joined this one!
Age 29, baby #1, due 5/11/19

Ruthsoph · 13/03/2019 08:12

My midwife is 30/3 they do Saturdays which is great as didn't want to keep taking random days off work and people being nosey - I am going to ask my midwife about the harmony test as I think it's something I want to have esp being older - it will just set my mind at rest - has anyone else considered this test? In the train nice and warm but doubt that will last 😩

tigsyboo · 13/03/2019 08:14

@Ruthsoph I was looking at the paloma tes, apparently it tests for more? X

Leleophants · 13/03/2019 08:15

@CCBloom1 that's exciting! Baby may decide to turn up November anyway.

Haven't had my scan letter yet. Also nausea finally hitting me. 6+1
