Can I join in
@nofunkingworriesmate age 44 ( god I’m the oldest!!) #2 due 10/11/19

Mintypea5 · 12/03/2019 19:44

Yes @Marty77 5 weeks. The midwives calculate from LMP date. I’m 5+2 based on LMP

Ruthsoph · 12/03/2019 19:57

@Preggosaurus9 I am actually freezing - sitting in bed watching tv - got in tonight to cook pork chops but the thought made me feel sick as did any Food but just eaten crisps and a penguin bar 🤣🤣🤣. I am seriously all over the place - not sure what the coldness is all about but been cold all day thought maybe I must be coming down with something?? Xx

MsGreenwood · 12/03/2019 20:02

Adding myself in! Age 32, baby #1, due 16/11/19

No symptoms so far except a bit of cramping and feeling quite tired.

MrsPMT23 · 12/03/2019 20:05

@preggosaurus I didn't think it was a symptom as wasn't cold with my DD either but I'm just SO cold! Even DH has picked up on it.

Did a CB digital this morning and got a 3+ result so feeling a bit more reassured. I'm still not entirely sure when I ovulated so can't pinpoint exactly how many weeks I am as my cycles were all over the place.

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 20:31

@Marty77

It seems we're not alone! Grin

I've just found this: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/2595141-First-trimester-FREEZING-COLD

I am so sleepy right now. Feel my energy is -0!

Leleophants · 12/03/2019 20:37

Please can I rejoin! Been a bit quiet but still here. 6 weeks now and SO COLD! And all spaced out. And 10 hours of sleep a night barely cuts it.

Glad to see the cold thing is a thing!

Also bad joints and dehydrated a lot.

Im tempted to get a private scan around 10 weeks but read how it's not good to have too many. Any thoughts?

MrsPMT23 · 12/03/2019 20:39

@littleseed I guess at least we'll all be boiling come Oct/Nov looking at that thread 😂

TrashKitten10 · 12/03/2019 20:45

Thanks for the tag @Miller2

My insomnia had been a lot better and then last night the bloody cat woke me up at 4:30 and I couldn't get back to sleep. We got her from a rescue centre and at dawn she was nearly turfed back there! Hope tonight I strike lucky with no wee wake ups, no cat wake ups and no insomniac wake ups :)

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 20:45

Hi @Leleophants and welcome. Flowers

Aww, your cold too! My nose is particularly ice cold and I'm layered up with the heating on!

Funnily, my knee has been hurting! I think we definitely need to get on some vitamin D. Flowers

From everything I've read and watched, the scans don't pose a harm to us or the baby? So an early scan should be fine.

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 20:46

Lol @MrsPMT23! Ironically, it'll be Winter then too. Grin

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 20:47

LOL @TrashKitten10 I can totally relate to all 3 wake-ups! Wink Those are my exact 3 too!

Bean1987 · 12/03/2019 20:50

Can I join too. Started reading the previous thread :-)

Age 31, Baby #1, due 3/11

Luckily, no sickness yet. However terrible night cramps and insomnia 😴

...Sending ‘sticking’ dust to all of those November ‘beans’ 💕

Prequelle · 12/03/2019 20:51

Could someone add me to the list please? I struggle on my phone.

Age: 27 Baby: #1 Due Date: 2/11/19

Prequelle · 12/03/2019 20:52

leleo there's no risks from having abdo ultrasound scans. In fact the UK has an appalling low scan rate compared to other countries, and there's been pushes for extra but it would cost too much.

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 12/03/2019 20:53

I have been freezing too. I’ve never experienced this with other pregnancies, and I don’t remember other people on the threads I was on for those pregnancies complaining about it! I also have horrendous insomnia (not great after 2.5 years of sleepless nights with the kids) and really bad back pain Sad.

Bean1987 · 12/03/2019 20:53

This made me laugh....naughty kitty!
Feel your pain with the insomnia.
Fingers crossed for a ‘sleep-full’ night

Prequelle · 12/03/2019 20:53

I'm at work again tomorrow and I'm dreading it. My back hasn't recovered from yesterday! I'm seriously worried about the coming months if I'm so bad already. I feel like I'm being soft but it's just awful.

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 20:57

Hi @Ruthsoph

Even I wondered whether I was coming down with something, but seeing how many of us that are really feeling COLD, I think it may just be a thing afte-rall. Wink

I had some crisps earlier too, but strangely, my tongue felt really weird after- almost like I'd burnt it! Confused

Lol, I love this place. We can all relate and understand each others' rants and ramblings hehe. Grin Halo

MrsPMT23 · 12/03/2019 20:58

This constant freezing feeling is also playing havoc with my nipples...just adding to the soreness!

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 20:59

Hi @Prequelle sorry to hear about your back. Sad

My back has been so sore too, and I've found that leaning up against a hot water bottle really does help. Please try that and don't be shy to take it into work with you. Flowers

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 21:01

Hi and welcome @Bean1987 Flowers

Aww that was cute the sticking dust and " beans " part. Halo
I chose my username after reading about being the size of a sesame seed, lol!

We're the same then! So your cramps are worst at night too then. That's also when my back is at it's worst.

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 21:03

Hi @TheGruffalosLoveChild

At least you can find solace knowing that we're also freezing with you. Smile
I've read that pregnancies can be different from one to another too.
I'm the same with my back, but please try resting up against a hot water bottle. I've found that helps.

Prequelle · 12/03/2019 21:09

I'll do that when I'm home littleseed thanks for the tip! Can't really use it in work coz I'm on my feet all day although I'm now thinking if I get a small one could I shove it at the back of my tights and hope it holds haha. I hope yours feels better soon!

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 21:13

haha @Prequelle! Grin

maybe you can try a heat pad thing instead? But I don't know if they'd be medicated but tbh I have wedged a water bottle that way before haha! Grin
You can always strap it against you with something maybe lol?
I hope you feel some relief once you try it.
