May be a litttle early but Boo Hoo and Dorothy Perkins currently have 25% off maternity clothes xx

PyjamasForever · 12/03/2019 17:20

Yay! New thread already!

I'm so bloated that my work clothes are all getting really snug already. Last time I bought maternity jeans at 14 weeks so I may be having a browse of that sale!

Faedawn · 12/03/2019 17:25

I haven’t had any more brown since this morning although my stomach feels a little bloated and uncomfortable. Fingers crossed it’s all ok
Let us know how you get on xxxx

ally62442 · 12/03/2019 17:34

My tiredness is killing me off! Totally exhausted. Keeping my little boy entertained whilst drained is proving hard work. He's extra clingy at the moment.

Preggosaurus9 · 12/03/2019 17:43

@MrsPMT23 didn't know feeling cold was a symptom, don't remember that with DC1! Today I was so cold at work my hands were an attractive pink and blue mottled effect Sad

Sorry to hear of the people already suffering nausea - constantly nibbling carby snacks like Quavers and Pringles was the only thing that worked for me. Ginger biscuits weirdly made me feel worse! Ended up stashing packs under the bed to eat before sitting up in the morning or else I would immediately vom! Envy not envy. I'm feeling queasy on and off but not too bad. DC1 was horrendous so hope I get off more lightly this time.

How is everyone doing at work? I am trying to stay calm and not get stressed, which is hard for a number of reasons!

Marty77 · 12/03/2019 17:46

I'm sooooo tired still getting over the shock we've just got engaged it's all happening Grinanyone got older kids to tell? x my DS is 14 and DD 9

Preggosaurus9 · 12/03/2019 17:46

Ooh thanks @Ruthsoph

Are you feeling any better?

Mintypea5 · 12/03/2019 17:48

I’m still on maternity leave from
DS2 (8.5 months) due back start of April. Will be roughly 8 weeks and really nervous about it / telling work. I had a very difficult pregnancy with DS2 (a major bleed at 14 weeks and subsequent bleeding almost every week) so I’m nervous it will be like yeah again and work will be annoyed

Preggosaurus9 · 12/03/2019 17:48

@ally62442 it's almost like he knows! How old? My DS is 2 and was glued to me last night which is unlike him!

Mintypea5 · 12/03/2019 17:51

@Marty77 I have a 7 yr old but I think he’s alredy guessed. We won’t offically tell him until 12 weeks tho. We’ve got an 8.5 month old as well ... he already knows ... he’s good at keeping secrets Grin

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 17:55

@Preggosaurus9

Oh wow I'm normal then! Grin
I've been insanely cold- to the extent where I've got a thick jumper on, a hooded gown on top, the heating on, fluffy socks and still need a water bottle!

I didn't know it was a symptom either, but if a few of us are experiencing this, I suppose it must be! Wink

For me, my back has been very very sore, and I have been very thirsty with background headaches.
I'm wondering when I'll get my call from the midwife. Does anybody know when I'm likely to hear from her? The reception at my GP has already filled a form in for the midwife and said I'd get a call, but I have no clue when!

Littleseed · 12/03/2019 17:56

@Mintypea5 Aww haha, that's cute about your 8.5 month old. Halo
Hopefully everything will go well for you at work. You are human after-all and nobody asks for the trials they go through.

Hayley89 · 12/03/2019 18:04

My friend just messaged to cancel our gym plans for tonight. I've never been so relieved! Way too tired for that today! Grin

Waitingformyrainbow · 12/03/2019 18:08

Hi ladies, I'm having this strange pulsing sensation on my right side near the ovary, not sure if I should be worried? (I'm 6 weeks)

ChesMum2019 · 12/03/2019 18:20

@Marty77 I have older girls nearly 16 and 13 and a 7 year old boy. They will be over the moon as they are aware of the last 2 losses we have had. Not telling them for a good while all going well. I'm 35 next week. Wondering how much different a pregnancy in my 30s will be

thumper59 · 12/03/2019 18:46

Definitely sending the OH for a stash on Pringles on reading here that they stopped nausea I've got an Over whelming craving for them! I'm struggling with my body appearance already I feel vile. Think it's because I am bloated though it's making me feel much worse!

Waitingformyrainbow · 12/03/2019 18:51

@thumper59 I've also found ritz crackers really help :)

Marty77 · 12/03/2019 19:11

@Mintypea5 my son is 14 he'll be fine thought I was pregnant when we told him we were engaged he was very happy my 9 DD got a bit upset over the engagement I think it was a bit of a shock and fear of her father's reaction though we've been split up 6 yrs and this is only my second relationship and I'm marrying him my ex is a nightmare. I'm a bit nervous telling them, we actually worked it out and looks like we fell on the night we got engaged!

The test said 2-3 weeks but from the date of my last period I'm 5 is it my dates wrong or have I caught late on?

Marty77 · 12/03/2019 19:12

@Littleseed I'm freezing have been all day I've got super spider senses can smell everything working in a college that not the best Grin

Marty77 · 12/03/2019 19:16

Any one registered with one 2 one midwives? Looks great and it's free never had this 9 years ago midwife appts at home 😮

thumper59 · 12/03/2019 19:18

@Waitingformyrainbow oh yeah I always have some of them little beauties!

Has exhaustion took over for anyone yet? I was exhausted before my BFP and now I am again, so bad I'm in the bath and can barely keep away. I am super busy during the day at work so I think that has some effect but I could just curl up and sleep for weeks!

HJWT · 12/03/2019 19:18

@Marty77 no if you read the leaflet its 2-3 since you conceived or 5 weeks since last period x

Marty77 · 12/03/2019 19:26

Thanks @HJWT so does that me 5 weeks then?
