@fanfan18 also Tuesday morning!!! It was a FRER and still only getting squinters on other tests do I did a digital clear blue to make me feel better today. Said 1-2 weeks so I’m assuming the little one implanted quite late...!

@cakeordeath9 I totally get I feel like I would pay anything just to know everything it okay. Good luck! X

Mintypea5 · 21/03/2019 16:52

@MindyMoonstone I get a scan between 6-8 weeks due to 3+ miscarriages. Usually you have to go private without bleeding / pain / previous issues however sometimes places like groupon have deals on for scans. I think they typically range between £50-£100

Waitingformyrainbow · 21/03/2019 16:58

@Ruthsoph haha! Good luck xx

Knickersononeshead · 21/03/2019 17:41

Any tips on all day sickness? It's progressively gotten worse over the last few days and I physically cannot keep any food down at all 🤮

Age 28 and i found out that Tuesday that I am pregnant 😊

Due date (guessing!) 25/11/19

Only person that knows is my husband so I'm so chuffed to be able to talk about it!

MindyMoonstone · 21/03/2019 19:10

Rodgers2018 welcome and congrats!!! Haven’t the last 3 days dragged?! (I found out Tuesday too!)

It’s so nice to be able to talk to other people who won’t think we are mad 😂

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 19:13

That's wonderful @tigsyboo! Halo So reassuring. xx
So it seems the scan can go either way- abdominal or internal then.

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 19:14

Thank you @fanfan18 ! Smile
Everyone here is nervous, so don't worry, it's perfectly normal. xx

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 19:28

@Mintypea5 I hope your scan goes well lovely. xx I'll be updating about tomorrow, yikes! I've just watched a video on youtube that explained what to expect at the first MW appointment- bloods and urine!
Someone asked in the comments if the MW checks the baby's heartbeat and someone replied "yes" - I was quite shocked reading that? Shock Does she really? How is that possible even? Is it possible with a stethoscope? Shock

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 19:29

Hi @Rodgers2017 and welcome to the club! Smile

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 19:29

Welcome @Bella1989! Flowers

Rodgers2017 · 21/03/2019 19:30

@Littleseed thank you! 😁😁😁😁😁

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 19:30

Oh no @Knickersononeshead Sad have you tried ginger? Crackers or digestive biscuits?
If you can't keep anything down, you have to see your GP/MW.

Rodgers2017 · 21/03/2019 19:31

Can anyone tell me the name of the FB group? I don't know my FB password so I just use my app😂 - but that doesn't work using the link 👎🏻

Thanks!

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 19:31

Aww you're welcome @Rodgers2017. Grin
Exciting yet nerve wracking time, hey! Wink

Mintypea5 · 21/03/2019 19:33

swt123 · 21/03/2019 19:49

I got my BFP this morning with Tesco pg test. Confirmed with second clear blue early response test this evening. I’m cd30 & 14dpo. I tested negative on 8 & 10dpo. This is cycle 3 TTC number 1. Anyone else have mega heartburn and sore back? I never get either but really bad for around a week now. I am super excited but really worried about early miscarriage due to everyone else’s comments. When should I call the doctors? Should I do another test in a few days to check all ok? Sorry for all the questions!

TrashKitten10 · 21/03/2019 19:58

@Littleseed The commute was so much better thank you. Cold car, sips of cold flavoured water and nibbles of ginger biscuit kept the nausea at bay. I'll set up my car picnic again tomorrow and hope for the same results :) oh bless you, it's such a worry. Hopefully your midwife will be able to offer some reassurance. Are you getting any pain?

Bella1989 · 21/03/2019 19:58

Thank you all! It’s nice being able to talk about it with other people other than my husband!

OhMarnie · 21/03/2019 20:17

@TrashKitten10 I feel your pain with the commute. Mines not as bad (35 mins) but I'm finding I have to drive with the window open or else I get super nauseous. I used to love cranking the heating up full blast and basking in the cosyness 😂

Mintypea5 · 21/03/2019 20:18

Having a Tough evening. I need to pee loads and my poor 9 month old has conjunctivitis. He’s not going down to bed easily so sat here singing to him and REALLY needing a wee

MindyMoonstone · 21/03/2019 21:20

@swt123 congrats on the BFP!!! I have both heart burn and sore back!!! Heartburn seems to be in the morning and after I eat, back ache comes and goes, it’s only mild.

It’s normal to be worried, we all are!!! But positive thoughts bring positive vibes and we all have our fingers crossed for each other :)

It’s up to you really, I called the docs the day after my BFP, in my area you get referred straight to the midwife but you can have a docs appt if you want too so I have booked both to be safe. I think it’s different in each area.

Sending you sticky baby dust, I hope this helps! Xx

swt123 · 21/03/2019 21:26

Thank you @MindyMoonstone for reply. I will phone docs in the morning. Thought it’d be too early for pg symptoms really! Got some pulling/twitching going on too and some creamy cm 😳 think I’ll keep doing pg tests until docs confirm it or 12 week scan. Feels so unreal! I have lots of marking to keep me occupied in the evenings at the moment!
