@cakeordeath89 can you call your EPU and explain you’re worried due to the cramps? You can often find the number via google x

cakeordeath89 · 21/03/2019 09:44

@Mintypea5 The scan is with a private company so I'm not really sure how it works. I'll just cancel it if the worst is to happen before then.
You know when you just have a feeling? I think as long as I don't have any bleeding I'm just going to get on with it. The cramps have stopped now so fingers crossed...

Mintypea5 · 21/03/2019 09:52

@Ruthsoph try not to worry (easier said than done!) it’s quite normal for symptoms to come and go. Hope the scan goes well tomorrow

Miller2 · 21/03/2019 09:57

@cakeordeath89 call the local epu. They may well do an early scan for you to check everything and it won't cost you a penny (you could cancel the private one if that's the case). I had some spotting at 5+6 and they scanned me to check everything was OK and to check for things like ectopic etc. A phone call to them won't hurt, especially if the cramps at night were worse than normal - they'll be best to advise you. Ours only takes calls before noon so have a Google where yours is and give them a quick bell.

@Miller2 I've done a bit of a google on it and in my area, the hospital will only let you go if you see the GP/Midwife first. You can only self-refer if you've had history of miscarriages or have been in the EPU system before. I guess it's just a waiting game. Not like they'd be able to do anything anyway this early on. Thanks for your advice x

Hi there - just fried old thread and saw that it had moved here. I'm 36 and have a DS - 2yo - and had a BFP at the weekend after nearly a year of trying after endometriosis surgery - so excited! Is the chat continuing on here or moving on to FB?

Ruthsoph · 21/03/2019 10:18

Just did a test and thankfully it still says i am pregnant - did a digital one and it states 3+ which means 5+ weeks - i was just so worried esp after yesterday when someone said they had a scan and it was just the sac so that has hightened my anxiety - hopefully everything will be fine tomorrow x

Waitingformyrainbow · 21/03/2019 10:26

Morning ladies, hope everyone is well. Today I'm 7+2 , my boobs are nowhere near as sore! I'm starting to really sorry, I have a scan tomorrow but I'm really panicking! Has anyone else experienced this? X

Waitingformyrainbow · 21/03/2019 10:36

@Ruthsoph same here, I don't feel that bad at all today! I'm going to do another test in a few hours, ohh it's so nerve wracking x

Miller2 · 21/03/2019 10:38

@cakeordeath89 I couldn't just self refer either. I phoned them up gave them my details and they triage you over the phone (it was a midwife). She then booked me in.

Waitingformyrainbow i am also 7+2 and no sore boobs or anything - was so worries just did a test and all is well
I also have a scan tomorrow so need to try and not stress until then

MindyMoonstone · 21/03/2019 12:02

How are you all doing with symptoms? At 4+3 I expect it’s too early for symptoms, but I’ve felt really nauseous all morning 🤢

Aside from that I get little needle like pangs every now and then, bloated, slight heartburn. Boobs finally feeling fuller and a little sore. I’ve always been flat chested so bring on the bazungas! 😂

Probably all in my head anyway haha!!

Aph413 · 21/03/2019 12:44

@MindyMoonstone I'm only 4+6 and I've been nauseus since 13dpo so I wouldn't say it's too early for anything. My boobs are also sore beyond belief

Cbeebies89 · 21/03/2019 13:08

@cakeordeath89, I know exactly how you feel. I am having some symptoms but feel constantly worried that all is not ok with baby. I've booked an early scan for 30th March (by which point I'll be 6+3). Not sure if it's the right thing to do or not but desperate to take away some of my anxiety. I feel like I can't concentrate at work and it's really hard not being able to talk to my work colleagues about it (as normally we natter about everything). You're not on your own! Smile

Cbeebies89 · 21/03/2019 13:09

@MindyMoonstoone is the needle like pangs in your stomach? I've been having those all morning. Doesn't half make me feel panicked.

PrayingandHoping · 21/03/2019 13:16

Just had my 7 weeks scan. All looking perfect. Can't believe it 😁😁😁😁😁

cakeordeath89 · 21/03/2019 13:33

@Cbeebies89 I'm glad I'm not alone. I feel like it's such highs and lows at the moment and it's hard not to focus on the the lows and the negative symptoms. Yesterday, I felt in such a good mood, I felt positive but then when I had the cramps towards the end of the day and in the night, even re-doing the test in the morning to show that I'd gone upto 2-3 weeks hasn't helped to lift my mood. I really want to have a good cry but I can't do that until I finish work :(
It feels awful to say but I'm just not sure how I'm going to cope throughout an entire pregnancy, when I feel stressed even at this really early stage.

Ruthsoph · 21/03/2019 13:34

PrayingandHoping thats fantastic, what a refief - are you exactly 7 weeks? did you see a heartbeat? got mine tomorrow and i will be 7+3 so wondering what to expect x

cakeordeath89 · 21/03/2019 13:35

@PrayingandHoping That's great news! How was it?

Mintypea5 · 21/03/2019 13:35

@PrayingandHoping awwwwww lovely! Glad the scan was all good.

I need to call the epu for my one next week. I’m starting to feel anxious about it 🤦🏻‍♀️

Waitingformyrainbow · 21/03/2019 13:37

@Ruthsoph I've just done another frer, was a strong positive but it's so so hard not to worry! What time is your scan? Mine isn't until 2.45 🤦🏻‍♀️

@PrayingandHoping oh that's wonderful!! Did they do the scan abdominally? I'm having mine tomorrow at 7+3, praying it's not internal

PrayingandHoping · 21/03/2019 13:38

@cakeordeath89 totally fine 😁

PrayingandHoping · 21/03/2019 13:40

@Ruthsoph it is such a clear image I was surprised. Really strong heartbeat. I'm exactly 7 weeks today (ivf baby so no doubting lol)

Yes it was internal. I've had sooooo many of them now they don't bother me one bit. Not remotely uncomfortable (and I find smears etc horrid for comparison)

PrayingandHoping · 21/03/2019 13:41

@Waitingformyrainbow yes it was internal. I've had so many of them as it's an ivf baby. Honestly they are completely fine, nothing to worry about at all. X

Waitingformyrainbow · 21/03/2019 13:47

@PrayingandHoping thank you so much, huge congratulations to you xx
