@waitingformyrainbow mine was internal too. Completely fine. I built it up in my head and stressed for no reason at all.

Aww, I hope the ritz crackers helped @TrashKitten10. Flowers I hope your commute was better today?
Aww thanks for checking up on me. I just came from the loo right now, but when I wiped, I saw two red dots of blood in with the mucus-like, clear discharge.
Tomorrow's MW appointment can't come any quicker. Sad

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 14:08

Oh @TrashKitten10, you're telling me!
SNAP I have poly too, so yeh pretty hairy anyway haha, but NOW! Shock

Waitingformyrainbow · 21/03/2019 14:14

@Miller2 thank you so much, I had a bad experience previously and it's really put me off but they will do what they have to do tomorrow, I need to stop over thinking it xx

Mintypea5 · 21/03/2019 14:16

@Littleseed try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know!!). What times your appointment tomorrow?

Waitingformyrainbow · 21/03/2019 14:21

@Littleseed really hope everything is ok xx

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 14:24

@Mintypea5 thank you lovely. Flowers It's at 12:20. I'm getting anxious thinking about it. I'm wondering if she'll decide on an early scan?
I also have other gynae issues (fibroids etc) so she already said to me over the phone last Friday that I'm going to be seeing a consultant. I am a bit worried and have no idea what to expect or how often I'll be seeing the consultant.

When they do the scans, are they usually internal do you know?
For some reason, I was thinking they'd all be external belly ultrasounds.

How are you today lovely? Star

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 14:25

@PrayingandHoping that is so lovely and reassuring! Flowers xx

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 14:25

@Waitingformyrainbow thank you darling. Flowers I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow too! xx

Mintypea5 · 21/03/2019 14:38

@Littleseed I’ve only ever had externals even when early but I know sometimes they have to do internals. I’d talk to her about an early scan especially if you have other issues.

Il be consultant lead because I was StrepB positive in my last pregnancy so moved from midwife to consultant then. It’s usuallu depends slightly on why you’re seeing them but you have an initial chat around 16 weeks and then see your normal Midwife for the routine appointments but see your consultant at other points to discuss the birth and options etc. They’ll take good care of you!

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 14:43

Thank you so much @Mintypea5 for the reassurance and so glad you and baby were fine! Flowers
I feel much happier knowing what to expect. I think a lot of us would be lost without your advice, insight and experience- thank you so much lovely. xx Flowers

Mintypea5 · 21/03/2019 15:12

Welcome and congrats @fanfan18

Just walking to the doctor to get my 9 month old a prescription starter getting a stitch! Boooooo

MindyMoonstone · 21/03/2019 15:32

Hi @Cbeebies89 yeah the pains are low either side of my stomach mostly. Occasional round the belly button and some mild back ache on and off. I’ve been assured by lovely ladies I’m close to that it’s normal but i just can’t wait for my doctors appt next week! Are yours the same?

Welcome @fanfan18! When did you get your BFP? I’m on number 1 too, expecting 26/11 so we are very close!! 😁

cakeordeath89 · 21/03/2019 15:43

Congratulations on your BFP @fanfan18
You'd think none of us would get anything done at all with our permanently crossed fingers :)

Ruthsoph · 21/03/2019 15:45

Waitingformyrainbow my appointment is 10am so thankfully not having to wait too long - although i doubt i will sleep too good tonight
Didnt realise it was internal - better sort out my bikini line :>)

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 16:02

Haha @Ruthsoph! I'm taking all sorts of precautions for my MW appointment tomorrow too. Just don't know what she might check. Wink
I hope your scan goes well tomorrow! xx

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 16:02

Hi and welcome @fanfan18 Smile you and I are the same age, and also baby number 1. Flowers

Littleseed · 21/03/2019 16:03

Oh no @Mintypea5! I hope your stitch subsides! They can be so horrible!

tigsyboo · 21/03/2019 16:18

My scan was abdominal in EPU at 7+2 last week and saw the baby and heartbeat.....
going for another private next Monday morning that I already had booked when I got epu one- I've got my booking apt on the afternoon so fingers crossed I can feel more confident with the midwife xx

MindyMoonstone · 21/03/2019 16:23

Are you ladies that have scans at 7 weeks having them done privately? My first midwife apt isn’t until 7 weeks but it would be amazing to see what’s brewing in there as early as poss! 😁 if private do you mind me asking how much? Thanks x

cakeordeath89 · 21/03/2019 16:29

I should hopefully by 7 weeks by the time I have my private scan done. I haven't had the paperwork through yet about the booking in.
I've paid a £30 deposit and then I think it's another £60 on the day. I know it's a lot and I'm normally pretty frugal but it's for peace of mind as it's my first.

fanfan18 · 21/03/2019 16:33

Many thanks everyone for their congratulations!!

@MindyMoonstone -- I did the test on Tuesday morning :) When did you get yours?

@Littleseed - congratulations! I'm quite nervous I must say!

PrayingandHoping · 21/03/2019 16:40

@MindyMoonstone yes private but it's part of the procedure with my private ivf clinic. They also give one at 10 weeks before handing over to nhs 😁

Nhs only give u one before 12 weeks if u have or have had issues or no idea on your dates around here
