So I went with the same thread title so everyone could find us.

I don't use Facebook much and not sure how private a group is. ie, can friends see I've joined a group?

@stormtrooperjulian it doesn't matter i don't think, it's just to use to add you, I could use your name but there might be a few people with your name and your email is unique
@SullyWifey I'm.not sure about the app but on the website version there are 3 dots underneath each post and you can click on them and private message that way
@CookieWaffle no if I make it a 'secret' group only the people in the group can see it, so nobody else on your Facebook will (unless one of us turns out to be a personal friend 😂)

@eltzbee I'm crying at everything at the moment too. Girls in the office were talking about their babies in nurseries and I welled up!

@stormtrooperjulian I'm sure it will only be a few more weeks to feel better. I gradually felt better from 9 weeks onwards and felt consistently well by about 14 weeks x

@delilah7 yay for the first kick! And congratulations on your son! What a lovely name too x

@mrsc87 @cookiewaffle I wear panty liners all the time anyway, have only noticed a teeny bit more recently but not loads.

@eltzbee we have not bought anything either but I'm going to have to start a list and start researching as I'm actually starting to feel anxious about everything we need to get and know so little about! Anyone else feel overwhelmed by it? If anyone gets a list please share! I'd be so grateful!

Thank you @sullywifey and congrats on the new home! Are you settled in? We moved in Nov and still have tons to do!

What size is everyone buying? Newborn of 0-3 months? I've no idea how big my baby is going to be so think should get both sizes?

@Crossfitgirl my job this week is to pull a list together of research topics for weekends if I manage it I will share!

Have had a banging headache for 24 hours. Took two paracetamol this afternoon. I'm 13+5 today, assuming it is hormonal?! Just had a bath which helped till I got out lol.

@mrsc87 I've been told to buy nothing newborn or 0-3 as you'll likely get loads of stuff bought for you. Specially if you're having a baby shower? I plan to only get a few, and then see if I get given anything nearer the time, if I don't have enough will get stuff nearer my due date. But yeah I'd get a few of both. The 0-3 stuff will be huge on a newborn presumably!

@eltzbee headaches started for me at 13 weeks. Only odd days, but yes I'd say hormonal. Make sure you drink plenty! Xxx

Sorry girls, having a bit of trouble setting up this Facebook group 😂 won't let me add people who I'm not friends with because it's a 'secret group' so I can't search your email addresses 🙄 don't really know how to get around this, apparently you can add people who aren't your friends on a 'closed' group, but I don't want other people seeing that I've made the group, which you can (but you can't see the members in it) I'm so confused 😂

I'm not having a baby shower @Crossfitgirl but will prob still get lots of gifts, and family will all buy. I just can't resist picking up the odd thing when I see it 🥰 I bought an outfit on my lunch today 💙

It won't let me do that with a secret group, only when it's a closed group @MrsC87
Right how about, I make the closed group and add you all (just so you know, even with a closed group other people can't see that you are in the group, they can only view the title and the moderator, who is me, so no risk to your own privacy)
then when everyone is in I can change the group to a secret group?
Let me know if this is getting too much of a hassle for people 😂

I think if we had a WhatsApp group we would all literally be on WhatsApp all day and get millions of notifications while we're not checking it.... So I'm out for that one lol 😂 Sorry xxx

I’d definitely value a WhatsApp group when babies here to have someone to speak to during the night feeds lol x
