Hello. I thought I'd start a thread for anyone that has had the good news that they are due October 2019. We can go through these looong early weeks together.

I'm 33, first pregnancy
Cycle 6
Currently cycle day 21/12 doo. First BFP at 10 dpo.

I am now testing daily to see if my BFPs are getting stronger. Also still checking temps. Anyone else feel like they have to tip toe around at this stage as everything seems so fragile?

Congratulations @Katywoo2 and @Claireb2203!

Womblove · 27/01/2019 22:30

@Rememberallball it may feel odd but now but when both babies are here it will be lovely for them growing together! x

angel0071987 · 28/01/2019 14:04

Currently shaking. I know my blood pressure has a habit of dropping really low in all my subsequent pregnacies which makes me feel woozy and faint all the time. But I've never been sat physically shaking before :s
Luckily toddler still asleep and not wanting me to run maniacally around after him right now.
Midwives only told me in previous ones to have lots of salt and sugar to try and increase bp.
Anyone else had similar?

Rememberallball · 28/01/2019 14:16

I have low blood pressure - regularly below 100 for top number. Felt a bit light headed this morning but I’ve also had horrendous nausea today and been sick a couple of times earlier so could have been a drop in my blood sugar - second episode was worse as I was in the opticians having glasses fitted and had to ask to use their staff loo. They were very good about it though!!

Womblove · 28/01/2019 16:20

@angel0071987 no I don't have this, are you also low in iron? Worth going for a check up on bloods to see if you need anything, does not sound nice! Hope you are getting some rest too, hard with a little one.

Today I am five weeks and in the last hour that old familar taste in my mouth has returned... let the queasy months begin ;)

I am actually quite happy to feel this - I will be taking that back in a few days!

Hi ladies, congratulations to you all. I POAS yesterday when I was 4 days late and got a bfp with a clear blue digital saying 1-2 pregnant. It's all a bit of a shock because I had the copper coil fitted in Dec 2017 and as far as I was aware it was still where it should be. I'm 34 and have 2 dc age 7 and 5. I separated from their dad 18 month ago and I've been seeing my new partner for a year although we don't even live together yet. Soooo big shock especially it took me over a year of TTC my youngest.

I had a blood test at the doctors today and I've got to go to the EPU tomorrow morning to have a scan and see where the coil is at.

Should have known really as I've been ultra emotional the past week and my boobs are killing me. Can't even drink wine to get me over the shock.

TomThumb16 · 28/01/2019 19:16

I ovulated on the 16th of Jan and my husband and I had sex every other day leading up to that day and on that day.

Shortly after, (about 2 days) I began to feel light headed, and had bearable cramps.
Days following on from this my symptoms seemed to multiply.

It's now the day before my period is due, my breast are sore and massive!, have a huge headache and my lower abdomen is crampy.

Unfortunately, I have noticed some bleeding this morning. It's a medium red colour, not overly dark but, not light either.
It doesn't seem like my usual period as that's usually heavy and includes clots?
This is a medium flow, nothing major but, enough to wear a sanitary towel.

I was just hoping whether anyone has had a similar experience and it turned out to be a successful pregnancy ❤

This will be our first baby!

angel0071987 · 28/01/2019 19:21

@TomThumb16 hAve you taken a test yet? It sounds to me more like a chemical pregnancy (I've had two) where technically you're pregnant and you'll get a positive (normally faint) test and then be couple days late maybe if you're lucky. So you're pregnant but too early to show up at any scan. Having said that my other two early mc's started out quite light but progressively got worse over a few days and then super heavy but I was 6 and 8 weeks for them.
In my experiences I haven't had a good outcome from bleeding. But I know for everyone who has a bad outcome there's someone who had a positive experience with it.
Unfortunately there's nothing to do but sit and wait and see and think positive.

summertimehere · 28/01/2019 20:51

@CowBrow thankyou for thinking of me I hope you are keeping well, and the rest of you girls are doing fab.

I’ve been avoiding here, went to docs Friday and I’m on the heparin injections and progesterone suppositories and high dose folic acid. I wanted hcg blood test but doc said no that home pregnancy tests are as good. I’m booked in for early scan in 11 days.

I’ve had no more bleeding and tests are still positive but I’ve no symptoms and just don’t feel pregnant.

I hate this not knowing limbo, I’ve put on 10 pounds in a week from all the chocolate and crap

pandaobsessed · 28/01/2019 23:32

@Peaky1 I've just added you for the FB group too 🙂

DustyShoes · 29/01/2019 06:22

@summertimehere that all sounds so stressful, I am sorry. I hope the chocolate is helping, It sounds like you are doing a ton to keep things going in the right direction. Keep us updated about the scan!

Congratulations all new joiners.

@Katywoo2 I don't have many symtoms at all. Sore boobs and mild cramping is all I have. We have the same due date!

@pickledpeanut gosh that sounds stressful. I used to have the coil too and you hear about them dissapearing. How did the scan go?

@angel0071987 how are you doing now? Did you speak to the midwife about the shaking?

OP posts:
Katywoo2 · 29/01/2019 06:53

@CowBrow Sore boobs and cramping are symptoms 😄 I had them with my first. I’ve got a permanent sore head I’ve realised! And an exhausted so maybe I shouldn’t be wishing for any more !

angel0071987 · 29/01/2019 07:11

@CowBrow no but I had it with all other ones. Eating little and often seems to help. Except I can't do that with this one as toddler wants what I want so not ideal. Normally clears up somewhat at about 16weeks so only 11 and a bit weeks more hopefully 😂. I did have to ring gp tho (for referral to consultant after reccurant and late miscarriages) and he said to just keep fluid levels up and salt and sugar but not in too much excess. Gingernuts help and help with my nausea too but again toddler wants so have to hide and eat. And try not to breathe in when I'm peeling his satsuma as citrus fruit smells/tastes I've gone right off currently. Luckily it's just nausea for now and not sickness which may or may not come as that has varied in each previous.

Ambs81 · 29/01/2019 12:38

Hoping I will be staying on this thread!
9dpo and had a faint BFP today, testing twice as couldn’t believe it.
Had a miscarriage in November, and some gynae spots in December, so this was our first cycle of trying.

Due October 2019
Rememberallball · 29/01/2019 12:47

Good luck @Ambs81 - can you try a pink dye test like FRER as they’re much more sensitive than those CB +/- ones. Might give you a stronger result!!

DustyShoes · 29/01/2019 12:57

Congratulations @Ambs81 nice line!

OP posts:
Ambs81 · 29/01/2019 13:05

@rememberallball
Yes did a frer early this morning - annoyed as I’ve gone for a wee through the night so not that concentrated when I took it!!
I have another cb test but will try and hold off retesting until Thursday if I can bear it

Due October 2019
Glitterandunicorns · 29/01/2019 13:12

Congratulations @Ambs81! They're lovely lines.

starflake · 29/01/2019 13:14

Hoping to stay on this also. This is my BFP from this morning I'm hoping!!! Doing a FR in the morning as they are more reliable. I'm so excited but still such early days, not due AF for another 8 days

Due October 2019
Ambs81 · 29/01/2019 13:24

@starflake - that looks really clear! FX for you xxx

Thanks @Glitterandunicorns

pinkpig381 · 29/01/2019 14:11

Congratulations and fingers crossed for you both @Ambs81 @starflake ☺️👏🏻

Caffeinatedbrewofjoy · 29/01/2019 15:21

Can I join? I didn't know these threads existed! According to my app I'm 5 weeks and 6 days and I'm SO sick! Had to get cyclizine off my doc as the nausea and retching basically floored me! Anyone else feeling horrendous? I keep panicking that I'm not really pregnant too, and peeing on another stick. I can't wait until the 12 week scan. Seriously considering an early private one to calm me down!

Glitterandunicorns · 29/01/2019 15:44

Congratulations @Caffeinatedbrewofjoy! Hope you start to feel better soon.

pinkpig381 · 29/01/2019 21:32

Is anyone still DTD? My sex drive has virtually disappeared, me and DH tried earlier but nothing on my end 😂 I think I'm subconsciously worrying!
