Hello. I thought I'd start a thread for anyone that has had the good news that they are due October 2019. We can go through these looong early weeks together.

I'm 33, first pregnancy
Cycle 6
Currently cycle day 21/12 doo. First BFP at 10 dpo.

I am now testing daily to see if my BFPs are getting stronger. Also still checking temps. Anyone else feel like they have to tip toe around at this stage as everything seems so fragile?

@Purplequalitystreet oh my goodness exactly the same I'm 30 and we have been trying the same time as you - I know 6 months is not a long time atall and we are both incredible lucky but I definitely started to get twitchy and took many a (disappointing) tests to get here. We have been trying since August I would say. Don't know what to expect....still in complete shock almost don't quite believe it but just hoping that bean inside me is a sticky fighter. It's so hard not to get excited yet at the same time I know it's so soon! Excited to follow you on your journey considering we have pretty similar ones :-)

Lynseyanne86 · 27/01/2019 07:33

Hi everyone again, today I'm 5 weeks and 1 day. My symptoms are; feel like spiders are crawling all over my breasts, terrible acne, and lots of gurgling in uterus. Anyone else got similar feelings? I'm dreading sickness kicking in which might do soon. Est due date 1st October x

DustyShoes · 27/01/2019 07:51

Welcome and congratulations everyone!

@Lynseyanne86 cant say I've had exactly those symptoms. My boobs are sore, but not tingly. I'm getting mild cramping (quite a lot yesterday), and I do have a major spot that has appeared under my chin, which is lovely. Everyone is different though, and I'm sure some of the others on here will have experienced the same as you.

Definitely up for a Facebook group!

I'm feeling like shit this morning as DH just realised that I didn't take my vitamin yesterday. I honestly don't think that an hour goes by in the day without me thinking about being pregnant, and yet I still managed to forget my vitamin - grrrr. I already have a reminder set on my phone, but it can be too early if we haven't had dinner yet. DH is now going to set one for later in the evening, so hopefully we will have it covered in future. So annoying!!

Not too good a start to today as I have been bleeding, which is obviously not a good sign but given my age I always knew it was a high likelyhood but wishing everyone else a positive experience, and we have said we will have one more try before we accept it isn’t meant to be ❤️❤️

angel0071987 · 27/01/2019 11:44

I'm sorry to hear about your bleeding @sportmixture. I've been there 3x and know how tough it is.

LunaNeptune · 27/01/2019 11:59

Hello Flowers This is my first post and my first pregnancy: About 6 weeks, according to Flo app. I'm 31. Equally happy and nervous!!

Wishing everyone a smooth journey through spring and summer. Glad we are in it together Star

angel0071987 · 27/01/2019 12:49

@LunaNeptune welcome! I'd maybe double check dates on nhs website as flo tends to make it further along than you are by a week (no clue why).

yellowdaisyfield · 27/01/2019 13:33

@angel0071987 @LunaNeptune if you change your settings on Flo Pregnancy mode from current to completed, that should correct your gestation x

Peaky1 · 27/01/2019 13:43

Okay, I'll set up a secret group! I'll post when I've thrown it together (from costa on my phone, professional 😎)

Then I guess people can add me, I'll pop you in there and then (in the nicest way possible) unfriend you until you may want to have me as an actual Facebook friend 😆. No weirdness or offence, just so they we're sharing our preggo journey rather than all our other personal stuff too!

Peaky1 · 27/01/2019 13:50

Okay, it's done! You can search me as Christina Peak on Facebook or if there's a lot of people with that name (shouldn't be) my email to search is [email protected].

My profile pic is me in my old RAF uniform holding my son

Plumpet7 · 27/01/2019 14:18

@Peaky1 thanks so much for setting up the Facebook group 😊

angel0071987 · 27/01/2019 14:21

@Peaky1 thanks for fb group. Have added you to be joined to group! Thanks!!

IcyToes · 27/01/2019 14:43

Thanks for the Facebook group @peaky1.

omghavingababy · 27/01/2019 16:08

Thank you for the Facebook group Christina - I have just joined I was going to write the first post but then deleted cos didn't want to be first ha ha

Purplequalitystreet · 27/01/2019 16:42

I've just added you as well. Thanks for setting it up!

Givemethegin · 27/01/2019 16:45

Hey ladies! I'm feeling the need to join this thread so I can talk about it all before telling people around me!
Got a faint line yesterday and the day before, potentially due 4th October.
Will be 2nd child, been trying on and off for 2 yrs but more so the last 6 months as I was starting to get anxious about a large age gap. So I'm very happy to finally see a faint positive!
I thought I was pregnant in December but was just a suuuper long cycle. This time though my boobs have been tender, firm and larger than normal since about 1 week post ovulation/conception. My favourite side effect of pregnancy 😂 except when my toddler elbows me!!
Just trying to work out how long I can keep it from friends, work and family. Happy to tell them early but 4 weeks seems too early! Need to work out a plan for the year first!
Congrats to everyone else and fingers crossed for smooth journeys.

DustyShoes · 27/01/2019 17:07

Welcome @LunaNeptune and @Givemethegin congratulations!

@sportmixture so sorry to hear that things may not be working out. Thinking if you and hoping it's not the worst Flowers

@Peaky1 thank you. Just added you :) we're going to have to figure out who everyone is now!

Thanks @Peaky1 for adding me to the fb group 😘xx

Beeseeinya · 27/01/2019 18:10

Hello all, tentatively joining as I've had some faint BFP lines on dpo 11, 12 & 13 so thinking this is it!

I'm 36, first time and cycle 2 (we tried in October, then I had Nov and Dec off, picked it up again in Jan and boom!

Still not really accepting it is going to stick at the moment.

DustyShoes · 27/01/2019 18:39

@Beeseeinya a line is a line! Congratulations

Womblove · 27/01/2019 19:03

@sportmixture thinking of you and crossing everything xxx

@Beeseeinya - congratulations!!!

RE: Secret facebook I would prefer to stay here for now, maybe later in my pregnancy I will but for my own privacy and work, mumsnet is the best place for me for now.

Been feeling very crampy today, belly and lower back so got a little worried but reassured when I read they are normal symptoms too...

maybe 4th baby things are exaggerated?

Anyway crossing everything this little one sticks!

We told our children yesterday as there was no way I could keep from my family as always tell them from the test. But I wanted my girls to know first. They all cried, one with happiness, one with happiness and nervous about needing to share their room and one was a little confused as she likes being the youngest. BUt today they are all happy and excited.

I have said a few times that for now I am pregnant but sometimes it doesn't always stay so we just have to wait and see.

Hope you are all having a good evening.

I am always jealous to hear of boobs growing ;), my breasts never grew in any of my pregnancies - felt cheated about that. Even when breastfeeding they grew a little, but didn't stop me breastfeeding which I loved and really looking forward to doing it again.

x

Glitterandunicorns · 27/01/2019 19:25

@sportmixture I'm thinking of you and I really hope everything works out for you. Thanks

Rememberallball · 27/01/2019 20:38

@Peaky1, I’ve sent you a friends request and a pm on fb. Thank you for taking the time to set up the group. If you want any help with admin, let me know, am happy to help!!

We had a bit of a shock today; went to see stepson, his partner and their children today for lunch and to catch up since our ivf. They told us they are pregnant and due about 4 days before us!! It will be their second together and stepson’s 3rd. This is going to be really odd!!

Claireb2203 · 27/01/2019 21:21

Hi Ladies got my bfp today cb digital 2-3weeks. Congratulations to you all! I'm still in shock. This is #2 1st month of trying which is why I'm so shocked. Lovely to all be on this journey together. Wishing u all a healthy and happy pregnancy xx

Katywoo2 · 27/01/2019 21:39

Hi everyone, I got my bfp on Friday night. Did a test on a whim as period was about 5 hours late (! Smile) turned out negative so chucked it. Fishes it out just before bed and turns out I didn’t leave it long enough! Needless to say I did about 5,000 more and I’m most definitely pregnant. Due on about 2 October, it’s my second but am so so nervous as I’ve no real symptoms like I did with my first Confused
Anyone else symptom free?!..
