Hello. I thought I'd start a thread for anyone that has had the good news that they are due October 2019. We can go through these looong early weeks together.

I'm 33, first pregnancy
Cycle 6
Currently cycle day 21/12 doo. First BFP at 10 dpo.

I am now testing daily to see if my BFPs are getting stronger. Also still checking temps. Anyone else feel like they have to tip toe around at this stage as everything seems so fragile?

Would love to join too 😊. Got bfp on Thursday, DPO 14. First baby but had MC in Nov. Angel, I know what you mean about believing when seeing. Small waves of excitement but mostly just anxious. I will get a scan at 6/7 weeks I believe, which seems so far away!

Have you had symptoms yet? I haven’t had any really apart from woozy head rushes. Last time my boobs were so painful at this point and I was seeing lots. I guess every pregnancy different, but adds to the nerves a little,

pandaobsessed · 26/01/2019 09:55

Hi Ladies, thought I'd jump on this thread as it looks like I'll be due around the 7th Oct. I'm actually due my AF on Monday, and showed up positive on a pregnancy test two days ago. I had a MMC in November so I've only had two cycles since then. I'm 27 and already have a 15 month old little boy. Hoping this is our 🌈 baby x

pandaobsessed · 26/01/2019 09:57

Just to add, I thought I was pregnant about four days before my positive, when I was getting cramping and wind feelings around my lower tummy and lower back. For the past seven days, I've had really light pink and brown blood. So I'm guessing this is implantation x

Womblove · 26/01/2019 10:11

Welcome to the newbies!

Sending you all sticky stuff for our little ones to hold on tight

x

Hi all, would it be ok if I joined here? I’m actually due at the end of September, but I’ve noticed a few other late September ladies here and like they said, the September group all seem way ahead of where I am. This is my first pregnancy, really hoping it sticks!

pinkpig381 · 26/01/2019 10:30

@CowBrow it's so nerve wracking these first few months! It's all I'm thinking about, I don't know what I thought about before 😂

Glitterandunicorns · 26/01/2019 10:30

Hi ladies,
Thought I'd join you! I got my BFP on Wednesday after 2 and a half years of trying with a MC on the way. I'm currently 4+3 and due around 3rd October.

I'm going to try to get an early scan at seven weeks. It can't come soon enough!

I'm having nausea already and sore boobs occasionally, but tbh I'm glad of it, as at least it is a good sign.

Best of luck for healthy pregnancies all round!

pandaobsessed · 26/01/2019 11:56

@Glitterandunicorns @stormtrooperjulian congrats to you aswell 💕

Glitterandunicorns · 26/01/2019 13:12

Thank you @pandaobsessed!

Field22 · 26/01/2019 14:17

Hiya,
Also joining in pleased. I’m due AF tomorrow but got a BFP yesterday morning so I think I’m about 4 weeks. Aged 29 and first baby. I definitely know what you mean about it being a nervous time. I’m trying not to get too excited but I can’t help it!!!

Glitterandunicorns · 26/01/2019 15:24

Congratulations @Field22!

Rememberallball · 26/01/2019 15:41

Congratulations to all our new ladies. So many of us due around the same few days, we’re going to have a heck of a lot of cards to write come October!!

IcyToes · 26/01/2019 16:06

Congratulations to all the new ladies!

How is everyone doing today? I'm at work and I'm absolutely knackered, just want to crawl under the desk and sleep!

Rememberallball · 26/01/2019 16:23

Hi @IcyToes, I’m good today. I hope you get a chance to stop and put your feet up and have a rest. I’ve not noticed I’m particularly tired but then I’m very lucky that I don’t work so don’t have to be up and out at any particular time in the morning. No sign of the vomiting I had yesterday so perhaps it was more hotel breakfast than morning sickness, but I did only have porridge for breakfast. Going to cook a roast tonight.

DH and I went shopping this morning and stocked up for the next week - we are off on a cruise a week on Monday so didn’t need a great deal but still needed fruit, veg and meat. I had a look for pregnancy magazines but our local shops are quite small and had absolutely none - will go up to the big Tesco later this week.

This week in Cyprus I finished knitting a blanket I stared when I had my first cycle of IVF 15 months ago so have ordered some more wool and found some of my mum’s baby knitting patterns. Once that arrives I’m going to get knitting as I find it better to keep myself busy!! I think I’ll knit another blanket so I’ve got one to use and one to wash - or one each if it’s a multiple pregnancy!!

Now I’m just sitting watching tv programmes that were recorded while we were away.

Bluebell03 · 26/01/2019 17:13

Hi ladies!!

Hope you don’t mind me joining.. I got my BFP yesterday!! Super excited!

I’m 23 and my husband is 28.. this is our first baby and our first month TTC!

My AF was due on 24th Jan, so my due date has been calculated around 4th October 19.

I’ve had a little bit of pale pink/brown when I wiped today (sorry tmi!).. but is this normal? It’s not fresh blood at all like a period, but just don’t know if this is ok or not?

Has anyone else experienced this? Or is this normal?

Thanks in advance ✨ x

Purplequalitystreet · 26/01/2019 17:19

Ooh lots of newbies. Welcome to the world of agonising over symptoms of lack of them!!! Let's all hope we have sticky beans in there.

I'm 5+2 (But have 30 day cycles so think I'm a couple of days behind). So far I don't have much in the way of symptoms, other than the lack of AF. My boobs hurt if I poke them and the other night I had horrendous wind, that's about it. Really wish I knew what was going on in there! They need to invent a little window or periscope or something!!

Bluebell03 · 26/01/2019 17:29

P.s is there anyway to set your mumsnet account so you get an email whenever there’s a response? X

angel0071987 · 26/01/2019 17:34

Guessing my blood pressure has now dropped through floor again as completely woozy and light headed all today. Not easy when running around after toddler too!
Welcome to all new people.
I think my edd is 4th Oct but not entirely sure when I ovulated this month so may be a bit later than that.
So keeping everything crossed for a sticky bean this time round and for everyone else too 😘

Peaky1 · 26/01/2019 18:48

Was someone going to create a Facebook group? If not then I'm happy to 👍

angel0071987 · 26/01/2019 19:02

Facebook group would be great (so long as it's a secret group!! Don't want all and sundry knowing)

Purplequalitystreet · 26/01/2019 19:44

I'm up for a Facebook group!

omghavingababy · 26/01/2019 21:12

Yes deffo up for a (private) Facebook group ! :-)

@Purplequalitystreet I am 5+2 aswell AND have 30/31 cycles (if not longer) I used Ovia app to conceive and Ovia predicts due date of 26th September - and also no symptoms other than when I poke my boob (desperately wanting them to hurt ha ha) is this your first? It is mine and I'm incredibly nervous

omghavingababy · 26/01/2019 21:16

@stormtrooperjulian congrats and yes I'm due end of September too I am 5+2 today, the September group is way ahead of anything I'm experiencing so hopefully these lovely October ladies will be ok with us joining

So many newbies on here today congratulations everybody on their BFP's :-)

Purplequalitystreet · 26/01/2019 21:17

@omghavingababy yes it is my first. I'm 33 and we've been trying for about 6 months. I was just starting to get twitchy thinking we might have problems conceiving and then all of a sudden got my BFP! Have you been trying for a while?

IcyToes · 26/01/2019 21:19

I'm up for a secret Facebook group too.

( So much easier to secrely check at work!)
