Hello. I thought I'd start a thread for anyone that has had the good news that they are due October 2019. We can go through these looong early weeks together.

I'm 33, first pregnancy
Cycle 6
Currently cycle day 21/12 doo. First BFP at 10 dpo.

I am now testing daily to see if my BFPs are getting stronger. Also still checking temps. Anyone else feel like they have to tip toe around at this stage as everything seems so fragile?

How is everyone this morning?

I am feeling very relieved, my temp was back up this morning. I have decided not to take any more temps as it will only drive me crazy. We took another test last night to try and make us worry less, and our line was darker - phew! Edge of your seat stuff this!!

@summertimehere I hope all is well x

@CowBrow good to hear it's gone back up! I had a mad panic in the middle of the night convinced that I had started bleeding. Turned out to be nothing. I think I'm going mad!

My left boob hurts when I poke it, but not too sure whether it's because I keep poking it!

My mission for the day is to try and relax! My new mantra is "for today, I'm pregnant"

DustyShoes · 25/01/2019 08:38

Haha. I have the same thing with my boobs. I think DH thinks I'm going mental when I walk into a room groping them and cheerfully declaring that they hurt.

Good mantra! I think I will try and adopt that.

Morning all. Not sure if MS has hit or just a combination of filter coffee and cooked hotel breakfast but full on vomiting this morning. Off on the last leg of our homeward journey soon - coach from Heathrow to Cornwall. Will be travelling till about 7pm so really home it’s not going to be a bad day!!

GinaJabowski · 25/01/2019 13:39

Ahh @Rememberallball hope it had eased up now!
Quick question ladies... I know I am being over cautious and probably paranoid, but how safe is it to drink fizzy juice? I've stopped drinking it and started on decaf tea but all I want is a bottle of Dr Pepper!!! Please someone tell me it's safe to drink at this stage 😩

Womblove · 25/01/2019 13:53

Hello all, all these posts made me smile... i love the poking the boobs and happy they hurt ;)

@GinaJabowski how about adding pure orange juice to fizzy water. To be honest I avoid coke, dr pepper etc as they have so much crap in them anyway but if you really want one then maybe have a little.

I can't imagine a little hurting. Maybe try out some healthier alternatives as will be better for you anyway besides baby.

My temp also dropped last night and I felt a little crampy so was worried but this morning it was back up 37.6 so feel more relaxed.

GinaJabowski · 25/01/2019 14:31

@Womblove oh thank you! I hadn't thought of that... will definitely go get some sparkling water & mix with juice! Hopefully that'll ease the crave for fizzy juice!

DustyShoes · 25/01/2019 14:41

@Rememberallball how are you getting on now?

@GinaJabowski I do the same as womblove suggested, I have a sodastream as I go through that much sparking water and add juice. My fave is plain old lime and soda. I wonder if dandelion and burdock is a good sub for dr pepper?

@womblove You temp in the evening too? I havent heard of that.

OP posts:
Womblove · 25/01/2019 14:50

@GinaJabowski - You could all kinds of different juice too just make sure it's pure juice to avoid yucky sweeteners such as acesulfame K
saccharin etc x

Womblove · 25/01/2019 14:53

@CowBrow i dont know much about temps other then what my normal one is and when I ovulate its around 37 or more and stays up until I start my period them drops back to 36.5 approx. I use a digital ear one. Last night it was 36.8 so worried it had gone under 37...

Does it usually go down then at night?

MamaDane · 25/01/2019 14:54

Hi! I'm due 30th of September but I recon it'll happen in October. Congratulations everyone!

@GinaJabowski I wouldn't worry too much about drinking fizzy drinks unless you drink a lot. In general just try to eat your healthiest and drink water when thirsty 😊

Ellii · 25/01/2019 17:10

Anyone else really gassy? 😂🙈 I’m about 4-5 weeks and really gassy and have had some mild cramps for a week now. First midwife appointment on Monday though ☺️ xx

DustyShoes · 25/01/2019 17:30

@Womblove apparently your temps are really inconsistent throughout the day so you only temp first thing in the morning before you've got out of bed, and ideally at the same time. I'm relieved to stop taking them so I don't have to have a 6am alarm on the weekend!!

Welcome @MamaDane and congratulations!!

DustyShoes · 25/01/2019 17:33

@Ellii I found myself really gassy the other night. I few others have said the same thing - delightful eh! :)

I am also having mild cramps on and off. I'm telling myself that it is all good signs.

Good luck at your midwife appointment, that's exciting!! I'm going to get myself a scan at 6 weeks, I was going to hold off till 8 but I know I'm too impatient!

Rememberallball · 25/01/2019 17:36

Hi @CowBrow and @GinaJabowski, no more vomiting today thank goodness - especially as I’ve been on a coach for the last 6 hours!! Almost home, maybe another hour or so.

I have had some reflux on and off so will speak to the Dr when I can get in next week - I have a history or hiatus hernia and had a sleeve fast recto y (80% of my stomach removed) in 2011 so reflux is something I’ve lived with in and off but don’t want to suffer with if it can be treated. Going to be a busy Monday as I’ve also got an opticians appointment in the morning.

Hope everyone is looking forward to a quiet weekend!!

Ellii · 25/01/2019 17:36

@CowBrow at least they don’t seem to smell 😂🙈 this is my second pregnancy and so far I never had these symptoms with my first one, but then again they say that you do have more cramps second round as your uterus and ligaments have already stretched 🤔

Thank you! Just the standard appointment where you get the maternity notes etc. I’m going to go to a private scan once I’m 8 weeks to make sure everything is okay 😂 it’s nice to know everything is as it should be though ☺️

pinkpig381 · 25/01/2019 17:45

@CowBrow how far along are you now? 😊 I'm in the same boat regarding scans! According to my app I'm 6 weeks tomorrow but I want to try and wait until 8 weeks for an early scan, but a part of me wants to check everything is in the right place etc 🙈

Womblove · 25/01/2019 19:19

Good evening all

@Rememberallball glad to hear you did not get sick today and you got some rest in.

With my other pregnancies I has discharge in my pants (sorry too much info) but no had any so far... hope thats not a bad sign, anyone else not have any?

I am actually feeling pretty good at the moment, my healthy eating and no caffeine since only Monday has already impacted me although I am tired.

I usually get the dreaded morning or 24 hours a day feeling sick from 6 weeks, each baby it lasted longer. Last pregnancy was 18 weeks so really hoping the fact I have not been pregnant for 9 years means its reset itself ;) wishful thinking!

IcyToes · 25/01/2019 20:00

@Rememberallball glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. I suffered horrific reflux last pregnancy, not looking forward to it coming back at all.

@womblove I haven't had any discharge either. Every pregnancy is different, I wouldn't worry Smile

So today some anxiety creeped in, dodgy tummy and cramping so I went ahead and took my clear blue digital, in spite of it maybe being a bit early - waiting for the results seemed an eternity but eventually it gave me the result I was hoping for!

Due October 2019
GinaJabowski · 25/01/2019 21:23

Yay @IcyToes!!!

Has anyone had any pains? I've been having pulling like pains on and off all day... not excruciating but definitely noticeable.

Rememberallball · 25/01/2019 22:04

I get some quite sharp cramps at times - was one of the things DH decided was a ‘good’ sign!!

DustyShoes · 25/01/2019 22:21

@pinkpig381 I'm 4 weeks 2 days, oh so very early

@IcyToes that's great, really pleased for you.

@Womblove I've had a little creamy discharge earlier on in the cycle (TWW), but not so much recently.

@GinaJabowski I have been getting pains. Mainly on my left, but occasionally on the right-hand side too. I'm trying to find them reassuring.

OP posts:
Rememberallball · 26/01/2019 06:54

@CowBrow, I’m 4+2 today so just 1 day behind you.

Had a good nights sleep back in my own bed - nice pillows not the things they called pillows in our hotel in Cyprus (they were terrible!!) Unfortunately I’ve now been awake since about 3:00 and don’t think I’ll go back off to sleep now!!

Off to do some shopping today and do the washing and getting ready to go away again next week!!

Hi all
Can I join please?
This will be my fifth pregnancy but second baby. Suffered three losses last year at 6,8and 15weeks so very nervous this time round.
I'm 32 from Cambridgeshire.
Hoping to be referred by consultant for early scans at about 6-8weeks to ensure all looks ok but will believe that when I see it!
