Hello. I thought I'd start a thread for anyone that has had the good news that they are due October 2019. We can go through these looong early weeks together.

I'm 33, first pregnancy
Cycle 6
Currently cycle day 21/12 doo. First BFP at 10 dpo.

I am now testing daily to see if my BFPs are getting stronger. Also still checking temps. Anyone else feel like they have to tip toe around at this stage as everything seems so fragile?

@Womblove thank you for the reassurance. Oh yes... the wind 🙈 it's awful, but I have found coconut water helps. This is my first baby and only my Husband and I know so far, can't wait to tell the family. How long did everyone else wait to tell family? Friends? X

I've got crampy pains and a general bloated heavy feeling pretty much all of the time now. It's freaking me out to be so aware of it so early. I didn't have any symptoms with my first 2 until I was around 6 weeks! I'm already panicking in case there are twins in there 😂😂. If this carries on I think I'll get an early scan as I'm very curious as to what on Earth is going on in there. Fetus is having a house party trying to mAke the placenta 😂

A friend

Peaky1 · 23/01/2019 22:52

Absolutely no idea why 'A friend' came up on my last post ...😕

LaurenSl · 23/01/2019 22:56

Hi all - I’m new to the site and not sure what all the abbreviations are yet so bear with me!
Did a pregnancy test today as 4 days late and it’s positive 2 weeks ish! Terrified!!!! Have been trying for 6 months - I’m nearly 33 and this will be our first.
I have a sickness phobia so I’m just in excitement stage one min and freaking out the next!

Congratulations @Plumpet7 @Rememberallball and @sportmixture!

@Womblove I'm so glad things are better this evening.

I'm trying to eat a bit better as my diet is shocking since DS and I lost precisely none of my previous baby weight. So I made myself a big salad for dinner and it just tasted like dirt ( DH assures me that if tasted like salad, but not to me) - so weird and disappointing! Hoping future attempts at healthy eating go better.

IcyToes · 23/01/2019 23:17

Ah I missed a bunch of posts before my last.

Congratulations @LaurenSl and @Lynseyanne86!

Hi again everyone, so nice to hear of so many others due around the same time as me.
I've just popped on here to ask if anyone else has experienced this...This afternoon / evening I've been having stabbing pains in my kidneys and on my lower right abdomen. They're not excruciating big noticeable.
I'm trying not to worry about everything but it's so hard isn't it!

x

IcyToes · 23/01/2019 23:37

@moonkid I have definitely been having stabby pains on my right abdomen, maybe a hand from my ribs. I decided it was trapped wind ( I'm pretty gassy) as I'll have it a few hours and it goes and comes back.

As with everything in pregnancy though, if it is persistent, gets worse or is stressing you out give your community midwives a call for reassurance or check with your gp.

Hope it passes soon, all these twinges can be such a worry x

DustyShoes · 24/01/2019 06:18

Good morning everyone and congratulations to everyone who has joined!

I'm freaking about a little this morning. My temp has dropped. It's not below the cover live, but it is below the temps I've been having since implantation. Is anyone else temping?

@IcyToes we're being healthy too. For the first week of the tww DH was away and I ate nothing but crap. Trying to make up for it now. I'm veggie too and I'm conscious that I normally replace meat with cheese and dont get enough protein, so I'm trying to be more conscious of that. Maybe that's where the wind is coming from!!

I have been doing Slimming World since last June to try and self into as good shape as possible in advance of the IVF and lost 1 1/2 stone so like to think it has helped. I had a ‘moment’ the other day with my decaf coffee where it just didn’t ‘do’ anything for me - and I am usually a caffeine addict either through coffee or Pepsi Max. Still getting my fizzy hits with lemonade and, once we’re home, will switch to other diet soft drinks.

I will be telling my consultant at group as they have a separate programme for pregnant women to follow and I want to keep myself in check so I don’t undo the good work of the last 7 months.

summertimehere · 24/01/2019 08:02

Ah girls I think I’m out Feks sake, woke up last night couldn’t sleep and had period type pains in right hand side and I felt periody, this morn little tings of blood when wiping and don’t feel pregnancy symptoms any more just like shite way I be when period coming, did a pregnancy test looks good but know from previous cp can change by tomorrow, you know what can pretty much guarantee based on body it’s not happening.

DustyShoes · 24/01/2019 08:17

@summertimehere I'm so sorry to hear that. Spotting can be normal this early on though so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's ok

Thankyou cowbrow just doesn’t feel right I’m off work tomorrow so will try for docs appointment

Boadiccea · 24/01/2019 09:22

@moonkid I've been having lots of those too. Feels like everything is tightening too.

Has anyone totally lost their appetite?

DustyShoes · 24/01/2019 10:34

@Boadiccea I can't tell if I am losing my appetite, or if I am being ridiculously conscious of what I am eating, and an side effect of that is feeling like I need to eat less.

The last couple of nights I have felt a different kind of full after dinner too; like the full feeling is higher up in my torso. I have had to have a lie down after to let my food stretch out.

I also experienced my first bout of bad wind that some of you guys have spoken about. Bloody hell, it was relentless!

Peaky1 · 24/01/2019 11:11

I've started to lose a bit of my appetite too. Yesterday I turned down a creme egg (seriously, I need counselling for that) and I'm currently sat in costa, planned to celebrate with their carrot cake as a treat and fancied toast instead.

I'm also with slimming world. I just wanted to be totally naughty this week and celebrate but...meh! I wonder what my consultant will do with the weigh in. She knows already and said that I can now have 2xHEa and 2xHEb. She's giving me an info sheet at group on Saturday

Peaky1 · 24/01/2019 11:12

@summertimehere fingers crossed for you

Boadiccea · 24/01/2019 11:30

Hope everything is alright @summertimehere

Boadiccea · 24/01/2019 11:31

Is it too soon to think of a Facebook group?! I am just utterly dreadful at logging on here and don't plan on telling anyone else for a while yet Grin

DustyShoes · 24/01/2019 11:54

I'm up for a facebook group @Boadiccea

I am really into mini chedders at the moment. I don't think it is pregnancy related, I just think about them A LOT and have to control myself when I know there is some within reach. My saliva is going mental just thinking about them drools

IcyToes · 24/01/2019 13:58

Hope you are doing okay @summertimehere

Definitely up for a Facebook group @Boadiccea

omghavingababy · 24/01/2019 14:48

@Boadiccea me! Have totally lost my appetite completely I'm not nauseous or anything but the thought of food does not interest me, I'm literally having to force myself to eat a meal in the evening at the moment but not eating during the day. Even thought I'd try some chocolate yesterday - didn't even like it ?!! (I love chocolate, normally!!) it tasted horrible

GinaJabowski · 24/01/2019 15:56

@Boadiccea I don't have much of an appetite at the mo... trying my best to have 3 meals a day (normally I skip breakfast) and to eat as healthily as possible too. The only thing that interests me is anything mint chocolate (viscount biscuits) Grin

Rememberallball · 24/01/2019 16:48

I’d love to be part of a Facebook group too.
