Hello. I thought I'd start a thread for anyone that has had the good news that they are due October 2019. We can go through these looong early weeks together.

I'm 33, first pregnancy
Cycle 6
Currently cycle day 21/12 doo. First BFP at 10 dpo.

I am now testing daily to see if my BFPs are getting stronger. Also still checking temps. Anyone else feel like they have to tip toe around at this stage as everything seems so fragile?

@saltisford the bloating is definitely an IVF thing. I haven’t been able to get the skirt done up on my suit in about 3 weeks! Mind you the bloating is better now and now i’m panicking something is wrong!

Hi everyone, I got my first ever BFP on Thursday after our first round of IVF. It still doesn't feel real! I'm suffering with pregnancy induced OHSS (side effect of IVF) which means I've got very swollen ovaries and fluid in my abdomen, so I've been feeling pretty rough and already look 5 months pregnant! It's all worth it though! I'm 4+3 and my estimated due date is 23 October 😊

@womaninkent and @Positivity86 the IVF bloat is insane! Before I got my bfp, I rang the clinic and they told me to have a day off work because of it?! They never mentioned being concerned about OHSS though! I don’t know if it is linked to the lovely suppositories lol. I have basically been living in leggings - trousers are too uncomfortable! When are your early scans? I have a 7 week one, a week on Monday x

@saltisford mine’s 7th March when all being well i’ll be 8 weeks 3 days. Slightly dreading it already because I don’t really feel pregnant yet.
I think the bloating issue is because all the stims bloat you and you don’t really get a chance to recover before all the lovely suppositories!

@Saltisford that will come round quick! Keep an eye on your bloat because the natural pregnancy hormones stimulate your ovaries again and OHSS could develop. I came down with it a week after transfer and it's unbelievably uncomfortable! My official test day is tomorrow (we found out early) so we have to call the clinic on Monday to confirm and book first scan.

@womaninkent don't worry, all will be fine. It's totally natural to feel that way! x

Hello, got my BFP this morning, it’s my first child, I’m 35, we are both slightly shocked as we had only been trying for 2 months and honestly didn’t think it would happen this soon. If the apps are right I’m due about 22/10.

The bloat today has been driving me mad. When I’ve been at home I’ve been going round with my jeans unbuttoned 😂 luckily my chunky arse has been keeping them up. I’m hoping it’s not too bad when I’m back at work next week. I’m not planning on telling them just yet.

And me @coconutlatte44!! Potential busy day at the hospital 😂😂😂.

The nausea started today. No vomiting YET. Feeling a bit betrayed by my mother who didn't get any morning sickness at all with her pregnancies and neither did my grandmother 😂

First of all, don’t panic! Contact your GP surgery. They’ll advise on what you need to do to book in with the midwife. You’ll have plenty of check ups and appointments over the next few months.

You don’t really need to do anything else yet. Plenty of time to buy any things you need to buy.

Found out today were having baby no6, wasn't exactly planned but we're happy nonetheless.

EDD 9th oct

Going through that early bloated feeling 😬 I've been walking around all day with the top button of my jeans undone.

Other early symptoms are headache when I wake up, food cravings and sore boobs. Really hoping I don't get morning sickness this time round 🤞🏼 (I've jinxed myself right there haven't I?!)

I'm 5 weeks today and this evening I have had cramps and now have brown discharge. Very worried about what is going on

Sorry to hear that @pattyhoo :( can you contact your GP or gynaecologist for advice? It can be completely normal in the first trimester.

@Jodie6, hi, this is my first too, completely shocked as we thought it would take a lot longer.

I'm a bit unsure as well, I kinda want to tell my best friend as she knew we were trying but also worried to tell her at this point.

How do I add myself to the list?

Also I keep getting really cold for no reason at random point of the day? Is this anything to worry about?
