Hello. I thought I'd start a thread for anyone that has had the good news that they are due October 2019. We can go through these looong early weeks together.

I'm 33, first pregnancy
Cycle 6
Currently cycle day 21/12 doo. First BFP at 10 dpo.

I am now testing daily to see if my BFPs are getting stronger. Also still checking temps. Anyone else feel like they have to tip toe around at this stage as everything seems so fragile?

I am 16 days past a 5 day transfer, have no symptoms at all really.
But I have noticed that now the pregnancy line on my test is stronger and appears faster than the test working line.
Is this a good or a bad thing?

Happened to anyone else?

CZFR · 14/02/2019 08:34

Same other here. Feeling tired and bloated. My breasts feel so heavy and feeling like the mood swings are starting. Almost killed the husband for drinking one of my caffeine free coke this morning 🤷‍♀️😂

CZFR · 14/02/2019 08:35

@Rememberallball aww amazing! Wishing a very healthy and happy pregnancy! X

abcriskringle · 14/02/2019 08:58

Arg I've freaked myself out. By dates I am 5 weeks today. Did my second CB digital (which gave me pregnant 1-2 weeks at 13dpo) this morning with FMU and it still says 1-2 weeks. I've been googling and loads of people seem to end up miscarrying when this happens. Feeling really down now. Wish I hadn't done the stupid test but I had a twin pack and thought it would be 'fun'. Ha.

CZFR · 14/02/2019 09:33

@KatnissKringle I wouldn't worry to much, you are just at 3weeks past ovulation today and that if you were right on when your ovulation has happened! I know it is easy said than done but try and keep calm. Sending loads of hugs xx

GinMama1 · 14/02/2019 09:36

Morning ladies. Throwing my hat in here tentatively. I got my BFP this morning and think I'm about 4+3, giving me EDD of 21 October.

I've got a DD who is 21 months and we've been TTC for a few months but I'm still very surprised by it all!

womaninkent · 14/02/2019 09:44

@rememberallball congratulations-lovely news!

CaramelCluster · 14/02/2019 10:02

@KatnissKringle I wouldn't worry about that, hcg levels for all women are different, and CB digital works on specific amounts of an average/what is expected at certain weeks.

I'm sure if you did a dye test in comparison it would be a very strong line at this point, and will probably take away from the control line! I understand the general feel of worry, I'm worried too but focus on awaiting the first appointment, and less google searches 😁

abcriskringle · 14/02/2019 10:23

Thanks @CaramelCluster (nice to see a familiar face!) and @CZFR - think I'll back away from the tests and google now! No worrying symptoms so I guess what will be will be. No point stressing!

AnnaJohn · 14/02/2019 14:28

Hey all, joining in nervously. I tested positive a few days ago and think I'm around 4+3 and due on 20th October. I'm 22 and only recently married so it's a shock for both of us, we didn't expect it would happen so quickly!

CaramelCluster · 14/02/2019 14:55

@KatnissKringle lovely to see you in here too hun! Have you contacted GP/hospital to set up your first appointment?

@AnnaJohn welcome! I said the exact same thing, (except I'm a decade ahead of you 🤣) happened quickly so hopefully all being well we shall see many October babies!

CZFR · 14/02/2019 15:16

@AnnaJohn same other here! Due 20th or 21st depending which app I use! This was our first month trying too so feel so unreal and fragile right now. Xx

Random2468 · 14/02/2019 16:15

Hi guys, i think I'm only 4+1 but I'm getting such mood swings??? Is anyone else having this? Like full on rage just randomly! I hate it!! Also having some stretching feelings lower abdo which I didn't get first time I was pregnant 🤔 (although obviously that ended in MMC)

abcriskringle · 14/02/2019 19:04

@ CaramelCluster not yet! I think I'll ring on Monday. We have to self refer to midwives and the booking appt isn't until 8-9 weeks so no rush. Have you? Also, despite my earlier claim, I totally held my pee all day and did another digi when I got home - came up 2-3 weeks! So that was reassuring. I really will stop POAS now!

Claireb2203 · 14/02/2019 19:37

Anyone else feeling really cold during pregnancy? 6+3, morning sickness kicked in, yesterday on and off all day, same today. But suddenly get so cold. Also lost about 5lbs in 2/3 days which I'm guessing is from the sickness. Anyone else suffering?

Nextchapter19 · 14/02/2019 22:10

So Im 5w +1 and am thinking its probably another 7 weeks at least until my first scan. Is anyone else super anxious? I feel like I can’t relax until then as just don’t know of everything is okay in there! Want to enjoy the pregnancy but dont feel I can yet.

GinMama1 · 14/02/2019 23:22

@Claireb2203 yes I'm really cold too. Very weird!

@Nextchapter19 yes it's all very weird and scary really. Last time I paid for a scan at 8 weeks and I'll do the same this time for a bit of reassurance.

SophiePie · 15/02/2019 02:14

Hi, mind if I jump in? I'm 28, on my second pregnancy after a mc with my first and 7+1 today due on October 3rd 2019 (husband's birthday!)

Hello everyone,

I came off the pill in the first week of January and on Tuesday I took a pregnancy test that said I had a positive test showing pregnant 3+. I've done a second test and had the same result.

I have read a lot of posts and thought it would take ages but it seems we were quite quick. Because I thought we had time I've not prepared and have no idea what I'm doing so hoping because we are all in it together I can learn from you all.

SophiePie · 15/02/2019 09:25

@saffy347 Hello and thank you! Oh no, I hope it eases up for you soon Brew Flowers Been feeling a bit sick on and off but it keeps going so I don't think it's morning sickness? Also fluctuating between very hot, normal and then very cold every few hours or so. There's a little minor cramping but I think that's normal. First appointment with midwife today to get on the system woohoo

melissa1215 · 15/02/2019 10:49

I'm just wondering..

I'm expecting my first baby after 2 rounds of ivf so I've never gotten this far before..

I have a 7.5 week vaginal ultrasound book at my hospital, I'm wondering what to expect?

I'm no stranger to being prodded and poked so the physical side of it doesn't phase me, I just want know what kind of information I should be told?

Is there anything specific I should ask?

Me and hubby are super excited to see the baby (even though it's only the size of a blueberry) but I don't know what to expect?

Any advice is greatly appreciated xxx

flyingplum · 15/02/2019 11:19

Hi everyone :). Am 34, been trying for just over a year (10 cycles? Lost count...). Started to think it might never happen, so am cautiously over the moon. At least we can actually do it?!

Have very long 35+ day cycles, so not 100% sure how to calculate this. App says I'm 5weeks 2 days, NHS 4 weeks (modifying for cycle). Both have due date of October 24th. Either way...it's early days. Have my fingers crossed it sticks.

Been feeling queasy, but surely too early for that to be pregnancy related. Have had bit of a loose stomach last week or so, so I think have just had a bug...

HarryPottersSecretSister · 15/02/2019 11:28

Ah! I was wondering why the October 19 thread in Ante-natal clubs was so so quite. Turns out you're all here!

Could I join please?

Exactly 4 weeks today and found out (way too early imo) last Saturday (at 3 +1).
Extremely anxious at the minute - conscious how early days it is. Have done a pregnancy test (cheapos) almost every day for the past week and the line is definitely becoming darker each time so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

Current symptoms are a strong metallic taste (which gave the game away to me last Friday and prompted me to test), very slight nausea, cramping/ pulling sensation and bloating.

This will baby number 4 for us (one MC between number 1 and 2) but my youngest is almost 8 and I feel like I've forgotten absolutely everything.

Wishing you all the happiest and healthiest pregnancies possible. Smile
