Hello. I thought I'd start a thread for anyone that has had the good news that they are due October 2019. We can go through these looong early weeks together.

I'm 33, first pregnancy
Cycle 6
Currently cycle day 21/12 doo. First BFP at 10 dpo.

I am now testing daily to see if my BFPs are getting stronger. Also still checking temps. Anyone else feel like they have to tip toe around at this stage as everything seems so fragile?

@DustyDoorframes me too, my productivity has taken a complete nosedive. I could really do with taking a few days off but I can't really do that in my job as no one can cover 😫 soonest I'll be able to take any leave is April. Just want to sleep 😴

Claireb2203 · 06/02/2019 18:28

My moods are all over the place, one minute I’m fine, then the tiniest thing sets me off like a bomb. And I get so stressed it brings on cramps which worries me. So trying to stay calm but it’s hard because some things just make me so mad! Never had this with dd. This time i feel tired, mega sore boobs, itchy skin, moody, slight nausea, and windy. With dd never had anything until about week 8/9 when ms kicked in. Hoping I won’t get it this time but only 5+2 so plenty of time

Claireb2203 · 06/02/2019 18:34

And ever since 2/3 weeks I’ve had saliva buildup, still getting it now, some days more then others. Again hoping this is instead of ms.

Ambs81 · 06/02/2019 21:13

@claireb2203
I’ve just come on to moan about symptoms so your post has made me feel better!
I’m really bloated, ‘windy’, nausea coming and going, upper back pain, exhausted!! All in all not a good combo...and to top it all off I’m so anxious as had a mc in my last pregnancy.
I feel like everyday I wake up thinking this will be the day I mc again, which I know is irrational.
I don’t evennrember the early stages of pregnancy with DS as didn’t find out until I was around 7 weeks.

Hi!
I'm 31, second pregnancy (well third, had a miscarriage in 2017).
Have a 5 month old baby boy.
Due October 16th
Still trying to figure out what to do, hadn't planned to have my babies just 13 months apart!

Rememberallball · 07/02/2019 07:46

Good morning all from somewhere in the middle of the sea. We are bobbling along heading towards the Azores before heading across the Atlantic and aiming for the Caribbean and our first port of Hamilton, Bermuda. I’m 6 weeks today and my main symptoms have been some nausea (unfortunately with vomiting some days but not every day); way too much vaginal discharge and fairly regular cramp pains. Also getting headaches but that could be the ship’s movement as much as the pregnancy. I’m yawning all the time and seem to bloat in the evening as soon as we sit down to dinner - makes for uncomfortable eating!!

Looking forward to my scan on Tuesday and finding out just how many I’m carrying!!

Peaky1 · 07/02/2019 09:41

Oooh I'm so tempted to book one for Saturday when I'm 6 weeks!!

mummyof9 · 07/02/2019 11:09

Hi all, I'm 30 and just found out I'm expecting baby no 6 due beginning Oct (not sure on exact dates). I have 4 step-children too who also live with us so this baby will total 10 kiddies and will be the last. I want to enjoy as much of this pregnancy as possible given it'll be my last, it's proving very difficult already with this god-awful nausea, vomiting and sheer exhaustion. I'm hoping this thread will help me through, any of you suffer with this too??

Claireb2203 · 07/02/2019 11:18

Hi @mummyof9. Wow 10 kiddies! Congratulations. This is our 2nd baby due 7th Oct. Last pregnancy too so will try to enjoy as much as can. I'm 5+3. Symptoms so far slight nausea that quickly goes again (fingers cross it stays like that), tiredness, lots of yawning, lower back ache, saliva build up, mood swings, very sore boobs and itchy skin. But it varies day to day. One day i feel full of energu but mega sore boobs, the next day i feel knackered from when i get up , slight nausea and lots of saliva but that gets better if i eat something.

Sian222 · 07/02/2019 15:05

Hey!

I'm 6 weeks and 1 day. I'm 30 and this will be my first child. Very nervous, I know this might sound a bit wrong but is anyone scared of giving up themselve to have a child? Like I defo want a child but it just a bit weird you spend the whole of your younger years not wanting to get preggos and then boom your pregnant and its ike your 16 again and its naughty ahah!

We haven't told anyone yet, but we are just finalising buying our first house so trying to push the sickness away atm!

HMIB · 07/02/2019 17:22

Hi, I'm 26 and this will be baby number 5!! I've got 4 boys age 6,5,3 & 1!! Just took a test this morning and there's a faint line!! I'm only 10dpo so early days. Think that makes me out to be 3+2 😂.

My DD is 22/10 two of my boys have birthdays in October too 23 & 27 so it'll be a close one. And also my 1 year old was due on the 22nd too. Must be something about the end of January for conceiving 😂

Is there a Facebook group up and running?!

Thanks. X

WingingIt09 · 07/02/2019 17:23

Thanks @Dyra!

Anyone else a POAS addict at the moment? I'm 4 weeks yesterday and so far have taken 3 tests since I found out on Sunday 🙈🙈🙈 I never did this with my previous pregnancies but I'm so nervous this time round after my MC that I keep checking to see if the line is darkening. Ridiculous I know! Have just bought a pack of CB digital and hoping after I see it in writing it might help me move past it!

Saltisford · 07/02/2019 18:52

Hi everyone, can I join? I had my positive at the start of the week after IVF and 2 years TTC. My due date seems to be 10th Oct xx

angel0071987 · 07/02/2019 19:07

@HMIB Facebook group is up and running @IcyToes is an admin I think?

HMIB · 07/02/2019 19:22

@IcyToes can I please be added to the facebook group 😁. X

Frizzy1986 · 07/02/2019 20:36

I'm going to tentitavely join. I'm 5+5 with #2 and am due around 5th October.
I think I'm starting to get that nauseous feeling which although it sucks, at least makes me feel like I'm not imagining the whole thing. Seem to get regular cramping which is freaking me out, even though there's nothing I can do about what is happening inside.

I won't pretend like I'll keep up with all the goings on on this thread as my 5 year old means a lot of play time as she's all about imagination time with mummy!

I've only told my bestie (other than dh of course) as she is 16 weeks with her first. My other friend is 20 weeks with her 2nd so hopefully if this sticks we'll be able to enjoy some time off together (even though we are all across the country)
I plan on telling my parents in just over a week as they don't live close and are visiting and Id like to tell them in person, which I didn't get to do last time.
We have a scan booked at 7+6 thanks to Groupon (£29!), just to try and stem the nerves a little.

pinkpig381 · 07/02/2019 21:00

Today I'm 7+5 and had my first major hormonal meltdown...crying for no reason and when DH asks what's wrong it turns into that loud uncontrollable wailing/crying! Mixed with laughter because of how ridiculous the situation was! 😂 Got more of a sicky feeling tonight as well, I just want to be sick so the feeling goes away 🤢

Trinnidad · 07/02/2019 23:58

@Claireb2203 I'm with you on the saliva!

I'm 5+3, no nausea yet. My symptoms (basically feelings in my tummy with a bit of ache) come and go, sometimes I don't feel particularly anything which gives me a fright! Same as many of you, I'm happy not to feel sick but would feel a bit reassured if I could feel it. I'm not even getting too tired yet. Perhaps Wk 6 will change all that! Had GP app yesterday though where they confirmed the pregnancy and booked me in end of next week for blood tests. So after that I think I get my scan booked in!

Saltisford · 08/02/2019 07:12

What is the name of the Facebook group to join? X

birchwoods · 08/02/2019 10:51

Hi everyone and congratulations!

I'm 4+1 with my second. My daughter is 3 and a half, I'm 35.

Got a v feint BFP in the early hours of Monday morning between bouts of my DD being sick (tummy bug) then tested again on Weds and the line was stronger. AF was due yesterday and no sign so far. Was a bit of a surprise as only DTD once, my DH is rather put out that it didn't take longer!

My EDD is around 17th October. No pregnancy symptoms yet. I had sore boobs before I even tested with my DD at 10dpo but nothing yet.

abcriskringle · 08/02/2019 11:04

Hello everyone and huge congrats to all!
May I tentatively join? I have just got my bfp yesterday and according to the NHS due date calculator I'm 4 weeks, due on 17th October.
This will be my second and keeping everything crossed I've a sticky bean.
Can anyone recommend a good pregnancy app? I think I used Ovia before but wondering if there's anything better out there...

birchwoods · 08/02/2019 11:50

Actually, saying I've got no symptoms, I've had a constant low-level headache for about five days.

Tetley90 · 08/02/2019 12:51

Hi all and congrats to everyone!
I have also recently found out I am expecting my first! Am around 6 weeks and very excited/nervous! Not enjoying the horrible taste in my mouth and burping :p

Scattyscot · 08/02/2019 13:25

Hi @KattnissKringle are u sure you are only 4 weeks as I used the NHS app too and am due 7 October and am 5 weeks plus 4. My first day last period was 31December. Congrats also x

Scattyscot · 08/02/2019 13:28

I bought a chalk mug today out of the middle aisle section in Lidl. I am going out for afternoon tea with my mum and am going to give it to staff to put her coffee in. Going to chalk it with a design saying Nana to be again!! Thought was a nice idea surprise to reveal pregnancy.
