Due in March and so bored.

I’m sure there’s loads of threads like this!
I’m due March 12th with my first - a little girl.
I have 10+2 days left and I am beyond bored! I have gone through clothes so many times and arranged them, I have washed all the pushchair and Moses basket and cot stuff. I have the majority of stuff we need only need a few minor bits (bathing stuff, extra bedding etc) but waiting on money for that!
I have had the easiest pregnancy only really suffering with back ache and hip pain every so often (touch wood it doesn’t change) and it still doesn’t feel real that I am having a baby but I’m impatient and bored now!
Anyone else feeling the same?!

She is 13 days old and currently weighs 9lbs 15😂

I’m very late to this chat but hello ladies, I’m currently 41 weeks with my 2nd. Yes, 41 weeks 😩 I was due last Friday and there’s still no sign of me going into labour. I gave birth at 36 weeks with my daughter so didn’t even think I was make it to 40 weeks 😂

@Kelseymumof2 have you had a sweep? Must be so hard/ uncomfy still being pregnant! I had baby day before her due date. Watched a funny programme and DH gave me a nice back rub. Don’t know if that helped 😅 xx

Yes I had a sweep a few days ago which felt awful, I never had to have one with my first obviously so didn’t know what to expect.

@Kelseymumof2 getting a sweep was a huge worry of mine. I was worried about the pain, and wondered if it would even work!
I ended up going into labour before that..
I didn’t have any signs that it was about to happen really, until my waters broke- so, hopefully it happens any day for you 🤞 will you be induced if it doesn’t soon? Xx

Yeah they said they’ll induce me on the 1st April if I still haven’t gone into labour by then.

@Kelseymumof2 that’s still a while away then ☹️ Take it easy if you can, but I know you have another child- so prob hard to do x

I don’t mind it, my 2 year old daughter keeps my entertained when my fiancé is away (when she’s in a good mood at least) 😂

I don’t necessarily believe old wives tales but for a bit of fun I’ve been having people guess baby’s gender based of the shape of my bump because supposedly you can tell from the way someone’s carrying 🤷‍♀️ Anyone want to take some guesses?

@Kelseymumof2 how far on are you now?? Your bump is so much higher than mine, and I had a girl... are you having a boy?

Everyone thought I would go early (including midwife), as I was so low- but she came one day early! Xx

@BeHereNowx32 I’m 41 weeks + 4 days today 😩 yeah my bump is still very high which I’m guessing means baby doesn’t want to be born yet and I’ll be induced 😂 I don’t know what I’m having, we kept the gender a surprise.

@Kelseymumof2 I’ve read that second babies can engage later on, even right before birth. Good luck!

Baby’s been kicking me right in the ribs for the last 20 minutes 😂

Hi ladies, FTM and baby due yesterday...and I'm still pregnant! So fed up ☹️

@minniecat2406 it is hard at the end. I spent the last 2 weeks constantly looking for labour signs (midwife though baby would be early because I was getting Braxton Hicks and baby very low down). Baby cane day before my due date. And looking back I wish I just chilled out more! Hope you can take time to relax. Baby will be here soon 😊 x

Thanks @BeHereNowx32 I wish he'd get a move on! I have a sweep booked for Friday and another for Wednesday if that doesn't work. Unfortunately I have a feeling he's settled in for a while yet x

I started having contractions late last night so if things progress, I should be in the hospital delivering later today! I was convinced I will have to be induced but now it seems I won’t ❤️

Our gorgeous girl Mira was born at 11:43 pm last night weighing 9 pounds exactly! It was a long pregnancy and a long labour but she’s finally here and we couldn’t be happier ❤️
