Due in March and so bored.

I’m sure there’s loads of threads like this!
I’m due March 12th with my first - a little girl.
I have 10+2 days left and I am beyond bored! I have gone through clothes so many times and arranged them, I have washed all the pushchair and Moses basket and cot stuff. I have the majority of stuff we need only need a few minor bits (bathing stuff, extra bedding etc) but waiting on money for that!
I have had the easiest pregnancy only really suffering with back ache and hip pain every so often (touch wood it doesn’t change) and it still doesn’t feel real that I am having a baby but I’m impatient and bored now!
Anyone else feeling the same?!

Pamper yourself and take it easy sleepless night's are in hehe.

Lost my plug with my first sweep on monday and had still on of contractions ... due my 2nd sweep on friday so hopefully that will progress everything.

Due to be induced on the 18th hopefully go before that. X

I think I'm feeling the start of labour. Been having very strong tightenings off and on since about 5.45pm having been losing my plug over the last couple of days. Feeling very uncomfortable but things definitely are not going as quickly nor as obviously as they did first time. Of course DH is watching the footie and hoping that it's slow so he can watch the end lol. Fingers crossed this is the start 🤞🤞🤞

@HidCat @VioletGInPlease good news with the labour signs 👍 hope all happens quicker with safe arrival of baby.
I’ve been getting tightenings and on off period pains. But really don’t feel like it’s really the start of anything yet. It’s just too slow.

@BeHereNowx32 everything stopped but at least the signs are there. Not helping me be any less impatient though! Last time I had zero warning so if I get a steady progression this time it would be good, I think...

@HidCat I’m the exact same. Felt my tummy tightening last night, and it was sore. But nothing today. I have turned so lazy though. I know it’s good to rest, but I do feel like I’m wasting time.

I'm still here tagging along was in labour ward last night due my second sweep today contractions where up at 76 but still not close enough.. i feel like I'm going insane lol 5 days I've been feeling like this now.

My other 2 where just straight contractions and waters breaking so straight forward 3rd was induced so this is the longest I've been in early labour.

Heres hoping sweep today kicks everything off xx

No signs for me. I feel so so lazy. Haven’t felt much movement this morning so going to try sugar. Think baby is just feeling as lazy as me today

Hello all! I just joined mumsnet...yep because I’m bored! I’m due on 17th March with my first, I am excited but I’m just so exhausted and bored now! Today I have been extremely moody! My husbands just on his way back from work...I feel sorry for him he’s coming home to a moody wife!

Is this normal? Everything is just annoying me!

@Superwife88 welcome! Not long to go for you now, I'm due 21st March and also tired and ready for baby to arrive! Definitely think the moodiness is normal, hormones are flowing everywhere at this point is this your first baby?

I’m just so, so tired. Been in bed all day. Sleeping on and off. I’m due 15th of March by the way x

@Superwife88 Hi, yep I think plenty of people get fed up around now with hormones, discomfort and tiredness.

I finished work today. Had a broken night last night so hubby suggested I have a nap tonight, slept for 2 hours and now worried I won't sleep again as a result. Doh!

Hi everyone. Due March 19th (38+5 today) and definitely uncomfortable, tired and grumpy too!
Trying clary sage oil in the bath as of today! At my last midwife appointment she said "ooo I can feel your Braxton Hicks" as she felt my bump - but I couldn't feel anything at all, anyone else had this?! I didn't think I had been having any at all yet.

@LuckyKitty13 hi 😊 I had the midwife just over a week ago, and the exact same things happened to me. I am starting to feel the Braxton Hicks more now (I am 39+2). But have been having them quite often, but still not really any sign of labour.

@BeHereNowx32 Good to know I'm not alone! Have you had a show or anything? Not really sure what to be looking for!
Pregnancy generally has been a dream! Nothing to complain about at all. I've basically felt normal the entire way through. The last couple of weeks I've really "felt pregnant" which I know sounds weird, but I mean I'm starting to feel heavy and uncomfortable now. Baby very active and it's a bit sore at times. Bit achy in the hips, and bump feels like it's 'pulling' sometimes. How have you been?

@LuckyKitty13 good to hear that you’re doing well. Sounds like your body getting ready for labour!

My pregnancy has been pretty good. Except getting sciatic pain, which is more frustrating than anything. Stops me doing as much as I could be.

No show yet... I feel a bit like I’m getting cramps today, but probably won’t come to anything. I next see the midwife on Thursday.

Do you have any plans for the birth? Or just seeing what happens? I’m hoping to go to MLU, but depends how I cope with the pain! X

Well I have ideas but I know it's so unpredictable especially as it's my first. But in an ideal world - no drugs or interventions - I've been doing hypnobirthing since 20 weeks and have a doula. Will be going into hospital but I think the MLU is all part of the same place really in our area. I'm happy for gas and air as an option but really wanting to avoid epidural or Caesarian or forceps. Do you have any preferences?

@LuckyKitty13 I’ve not done very well with hypnobirthing.. I do have an app which helps calm me when i start to feel anxious.
I’m similar to you. Would like to avoid epidural, but I’m open to it if I’m desperate!

My stomach has been constantly solid for hours now.. so uncomfortable. Probably just bloated lol.

Let us know if you get any other signs. I like to compare! Even though I don’t think I’m all that hear labour yet x

I'm the same - don't think I'm anywhere near. Think I'll go over 40-41 weeks probably! I'll let you know if I get any twinges!

Getting sooo many Braxton Hicks 😓 is everyone else the same?

@BeHereNowx32 daily BH since Xmas unfortunately. Though tonight I'm up as my hips are so painful, had BH all evening then have been waking up every hour with pain in hips and back but it's not contractions, just general aching. Ah well, I knew sleeping well Sunday night was a fluke lol.

@HidCat oh yeah, I remember you have been getting them for a while now ☹️ Mines are stronger, but it just doesn’t go anywhere. Also, have pain while sleeping. But your’s sounds worse than mine. Hope baby here soon for us both x

I'm getting induced today at 4pm had another sweep at 9am this morning so hoping that things progress quite quickly.
