Due in March and so bored.

I’m sure there’s loads of threads like this!
I’m due March 12th with my first - a little girl.
I have 10+2 days left and I am beyond bored! I have gone through clothes so many times and arranged them, I have washed all the pushchair and Moses basket and cot stuff. I have the majority of stuff we need only need a few minor bits (bathing stuff, extra bedding etc) but waiting on money for that!
I have had the easiest pregnancy only really suffering with back ache and hip pain every so often (touch wood it doesn’t change) and it still doesn’t feel real that I am having a baby but I’m impatient and bored now!
Anyone else feeling the same?!

Hi all! After a week of latent labour, our little boy finally arrived at 39 weeks! He was born on Monday at 6am weighing 5lb 12oz 😊
We have been kept in hospital due to a few concerns over feeding but hoping to go home tomorrow.

Congrats hope a wee picture will follow hehe

Baby came last night! :) I’m in the hospital for a night while DH can’t stay. So feeling exhausted as couldn’t sleep after labour.
Anyone else have news? I am so happy that she is here now. Still feels so surreal! Xx

@BeHereNowx32 congratulations! Hope you're going home soon and all is well. My little lady made her entrance yesterday morning too. We came home mid afternoon and so far everything is going well.

I’m having snuggles with my wee miracle who’s nearly 2 weeks old already!

I was induced last Thursday and bubba arrived Friday afternoon :) It’s a boy and 6.7kg 💗 he’s a few weeks early and perfect! Good luck to those who are still waiting to meet bubba’s 💗

39+5 here and getting a bit fed up. Heartburn is awful - tricky as I'm most comfy laying on my left side but really shouldn't after eating as causes the heartburn to come on. I'm trying to either lay or sit on ball, no sofa slumping if I can help it. No signs at all - come on baby time to come out soon!

Is anyone breastfeeding? Feel like I need a breastfeeding support group thread. 🙊 it’s so hard! Especially when you feel so unwell, trying to recover. We just sorted out how to latch properly yesterday, and now it’s constant feeding! Great for bany, difficult for an unwell, tired mum! Xx

Hi @BeHereNowx32 it's my due date today, and still nothing! Although the pram has arrived today which is excellent!
I'm planning on breastfeeding - I'm a really strong believer in it. I'm sure you're doing absolutely great - if the latch is good just take it one feed at a time. It's still such early days. Make sure you're eating and drinking plenty. Lots of oats for supply! I've got lots of porridge and oatcakes in stock ready, and some fenugreek tablets just in case I'm worried about my supply (I know I probably won't need them but makes me feel more ready and prepared).

HI ladies, currently a week over due. Midwife has been to do sweep im currently 2-3cm but no pains at present

@Smilenow2008 wow, that’s a good sign. I was in hospital having contractions every minute when I was only 2cm due! Baby is definitely on their way!

@LuckyKitty13 I heard oats were food. Baby is cluster feeding, and was losing weight. So we are combination feeding just now with formula too. I feel happy that she can get some breast milk and I have time to recover hopefully! All the best xx

Hi All! I got lost in the mix!!
I was set to be induced on the 9th, the first stage didn't work, had the gels and my bubba arrived abruptly on the 10th!
She weighed a whopping 9lbs 3oz and I surprisingly managed with just Gas & air!! This was not picked up on any scans but it explains my reduced movements!!
She is now 13 days old and weighing 9lbs 15oz!😂

She is an absolutely perfect chunk, with a full head of hair too😍 (another surprise!)

I hope everyone's doing ok and any new arrivals are thriving!
