Just wanted to catch up with everyone from the TTC thread. I know some of us have July due dates and others August due dates, so wanted to check in with you all!

Hi ladies. I've been AWOL as I just haven't felt like writing much. Been very weak and struggling. Emotions and sickness wise. However I think it's calming down... I can defo eat abit more. Ginger never worked for me! however I haven't had my flu jab yet as I've been so unwell and I'm worrying I'm running out of time! :( x

Happy Friday @ranchorelaxo, I'm maybe same as you, feel queasy but no actual sick yet. I was gonna go shopping this morning but need to psyche myself up for it! I finished last week and thank god, as I don't know how I'm gonna cope when I go back - I work in the community so drive around to patients houses all day, its not like I can hide in the office. Glad it's easing @delilah7 thank god!! Is there a cut off for having the flu jab?

@crossfitgirl are we same person lol, quezzy here but not actually sick. Do you reckon the low progesterone is part of it?

Feeling good today, midwife booked, she’s sent off for my 12 week scan, 8 weeks Monday and scan booked Sunday! Fingers crossed all is ok xx

@RanchoRelaxo I broke up today. Feel surprisingly less sick today and now I'm anxious something is wrong. We can never win! Nervous and excited for private scan tomorrow x

@sunshine1987 have you got a private scan booked you mean on the 23rd? Yay for the midwife finally! I like to think all my hormones are normal now that I've conceived. I've read that the progesterone comes from the egg, so low progesterone is possibly just a symptom of the egg not being strong enough for a viable pregnancy in the first place. But these ones obviously were and have gone on to be our little beans! I just can't worry about anything as I'll drive myself nuts. I've decided to assume everything is totally normal unless proved otherwise! It's working for me lol. Did you test low on the progesterone as well? I had forgotten if so - sorry. Even if it is a bit low, I'm glad if it means we get easy on the queasy! I'm so terrible with it. I literally can't do anything even if I feel a little bit sick. Such wimpery!

Evening everyone! Good to hear lots of you are feeling a bit better!

I've just been struck by mad cravings for something juicy and cold so went to the shop (DP is away) and ended up standing in the kitchen inhaling slices of watermelon.

Is anyone having their scan over Christmas? Sorry if I have missed posts about it

@crossfitgirl ah no I’m definetely not worried about it, I just wonder whether that’s accounting for the slower rise in symptoms then the wham bam thank you mam of morning sickness straight away 😊 yeah the doctor said I wasn’t ovulating as my progesterone was low but the next month we conceived lol. He obviously got it wrong!

Yeah private scan booked for Sunday x

Finished work yesterday. Came on a hen weekend today. Just managed to get away. Why, oh why, do I do these things?

@Delilah7, there's no cut off when you can't have the jab any more. It's more that you don't want to get flu in the meantime. I'm really sorry you're having such a tough time.

Thankfully I finished work yesterday. Hit 10 weeks yesterday too and the vomiting started 🤢 is that normal to start actually being sick now, thought symptoms are supposed to ease off!!

Think hormones are at their highest around 10 weeks @MrsC so that makes sense - rubbish for you though! Hopefully it won't last too long x

All good with my scan. Now measuring at 8w4d so 2 days ahead of lmp. Grown from 2.4mm to 2cm! Xx

@MrsC87 that sounds like sods law, right there. @CrystalBlaze is right though. Hopefully that'll mean it doesn't last long.

I love it when doctors are wrong @sunshine1987 😁 although saying that I am positive I didn't ovulate the month before we conceived either, then went ahead and ovulated early this month! Good luck tomorrow!

@mrsc87 oh no, sorry you're vomiting, hormones are awful things. Strange question but is it any better than the nausea i.e. Do you feel better after vomiting or is it worse than just being nauseous?

So much better being sick @Crossfitgirl the nausea feeling passes. So I've worked out if I don't eat breakfast quick enough I'm sick. So I was nibbling biscuits at 5am this morning as I felt sick. Also got an upset tummy...sure it's the hormones and not a bug.
At least I'm not at work I keep thinking!

Oh and I weighed myself today and lost 7 pound. Feel like I have bump but could be bloating. Anyone else lost weight from the nausea?

All ok with my little kidney bean, measuring a bit further ahead than I thought at 8+1. Saw their little heartbeat, was so magical 💓

Hi ladies, I found you from our ttc board yay! So today was exciting - I got my bfp on a Boots hpt. Have picked up a frer for tomorrow and digital one to (it was a definite line but feel like I should do those too!).

Yes I have lost about 6lb from the vomiting. I'm definitely bloated. Cause I have a little bump but obviously it's not the actual bump! Doesn't stop me resting my hand on it though 😂 think it's just instinct.

Just had lovely family day (1st of many to come) chilled night with DH now. Need it after being sick from 2-4am xx

No weight loss here that I know of but i never weigh myself. Booking in appointment is 28th so not ideal after Christmas! Very bloated though. X

I'm so confused how it gets dated, so I've Just found today but I'm 4+1 already, how does that work out 🤣

Great news on the scans @sunshine1987 and @mrsof20118 it's so magical seeing them for the first time isn't it!
So I am nearly 11 weeks now and very very bloated, none of my jeans fit comfy so I'm living in leggings, I know it's not real bump tho because when I'm lying down in the morning my stomach is flat again! Counting down to the 2nd Jan for my 12 week scan 😁
Don't think I've lost any weight, probably put some on but I haven't weighed myself so who knows!
