Just wanted to catch up with everyone from the TTC thread. I know some of us have July due dates and others August due dates, so wanted to check in with you all!

@SullyWifey have you tried gin gins candies from Holland and Barrett? They seem to be helping me kick the nausea a little bit. Could you try sucking on ice lollies to make sure you are getting fluids?

Smells are really getting to me. OH had to sleep on the sofa last night as I could smell almost a musty garlicky smell on him and was making me gag. Romance well and truly gone for now

@CrystalBlaze went to look at a house this morning but no good. Have been looking for nearly a year with a few purchases and sales falling through so it's getting quite draining now but urgency to move now is pushing us on with being pregnant. Hopefully catching up with a friend later if I can fight the nausea. Coming down with a cough and cold so currently sipping belvoir ginger drink whilst wrapped in a blanket. X

I feel I need to rant 😭
So on Thursday I was sick over 10 times, most I've ever been. Luckily I can keep fluid down and wee seems to be ok at the moment. However lips are chapped and I'm exhausted. Bare in mind it's been confirmed about HG which is shit. I can't do ANYTHING. Don't even wanna get out of bed tbh... signed off work for next week. I had a MC in August and would never normally say this but I'm wondering ' am I really cut out for this ' I can't handle it and how it makes me feel.

Aww @delilah7 don't think like that lovely, of course you will make a great mum and you can handle this! Its bound to make you feel shitty, and the hormones make everything seem 10 times worse. Try focus on that you only have to sit it out a little while longer, its likely to settle in the 2nd trimester. There is light at the end of the tunnel!
@cookiewaffle @mrsof20118 sorry you're both feeling a bit crap, food is also my comfort so I'm basically screwed as soon as I go off it! I've lost my appetite a bit and gagged a little on funny textures I normally wouldn't, but feel lucky to still be avoiding the nausea. 6 weeks tomorrow... they say 6 weeks is when it starts... bit scared with what you're all experiencing!

@chaosmoon my reflexologist told me she thinks it's a boy. And I have a feeling she knows, as the moment I walked in pregnant, before I even told her, she immediately said I was positively glowing. I mean I did have some bronzer on at the time... 😂 but still - I thought it was so strange!

I'm currently away in Wales for my birthday, it's blowing a gale and pissing it down so after seeing a castle earlier we came back to the room to chill and I'm painting my nails :-)

@Delilah7 don't be too hard on yourself. It must so horrible to be that sick and it's a struggle if it was just a 24 hour bug to be l like that but when it's constant I can't imagine how difficult it must be. Just take it easy as best as you can and don't feel guilty for resting. Your body is doing an incredible thing. How many weeks are you now? X

@Crossfitgirl thanks for sharing your link. That's exactly what we did, we went on a big expensive dream holiday before we had any commitments. I very patiently waited til the holiday to say "is it baby making time now?". Though if I'd known it would take 9 months...

What has everyone else been up to? I've given the envelope to MIL to keep hold of to remove immediate temptation.

@crystalblaze I think it's leg is in the way! But I'm also gonna say boy as I think he had a boys little nose. I don't know why :-)

Just have to share how lovely DH was for my birthday! I got this card from "little bean" that made me cry, some cool mama face spritzer for hot flushes (I said I felt hot more easily), some some bio oil, and some nipple cream! 😂
He does listen after all! Lol

Sorry for late responses ladies. Nice scan photos!! Doctors have been good before I wrote out that post. However the anti sickness tablets are no longer working. 😔 don't even wanna do anything. Haven't even had a shower today and I cba to have one now. I'm exhausted.

I'm just fed up with this whole journey. Me and OH have just feel out as he says I'm not 'paralysed' and going to let it take over my whole life. I'm just done.

So my boobs were so sore today I decided not to wear a bra. Cos that's comfy right?

What. a. mistake!

Went to tesco and my nipples felt like they were rubbing on razors against my top! Ended up having to basically carry them by folding my arms in an odd looking way!

Bra is now securely back on and won't be trying that again!

Hey ladies just checking in.
I'm 9w4days today and still have nausea and sore boobs. @Crossfitgirl you can get some nipple pads in boots that you heat in the microwave and pop in your bra. I'm going to buy some I think.
How is everyone doing? Sorry to hear you feel down @Delilah7 but just keep going and it'll get easier as the weeks go on. Is your 12 week scan before Xmas?

No more bleeding for me so feeling a little less anxious. Although I can't stop googling MMC. I've banned myself now 🤦‍♀️

What's everyone's plans for Xmas? Whose cooking? Xxx

@MrsC87 me and OH had a chat and I think he like most men don't deliver things correct when they say them. He's concerned for me and doesn't want the HG to take over but unfortunately without it making a routine it sort of is. 12 week scan isn't till New Years although I'm 12 weeks on Xmas day x

As for the sore boobs, I feel your pain. I couldn't hug anyone properly for weeks. They're fine now but I am concerned about the state they're going to be left in. I swear they're already saggy

How is everyone feeling? Can you get some new meds @Delilah7?

@MrsC we are at PIL on Christmas day, they've had a new kitchen done so should be lovely. BIL is in charge of turkey and DP is doing spuds. I might make a big cheesecake for the evening.

@Delilah7 I'm on the second day of being sick now I know that's nothing compared to you it was only a couple of times yesterday once at lunch time once before dinner time but I managed to eat a plain jacket potato and kept it down but today everything I'm eating is coming back up. What point does it need to get to before medical advice? X

@canonlyhopexo if you're being sick constantly and no food is staying down (i can keep fluid down) it's best to speak to someone as dehydration cN happen quickly. X

@CrystalBlaze I've considered it but I'm concerned they make my head soooooo fuzzy x
