Just wanted to catch up with everyone from the TTC thread. I know some of us have July due dates and others August due dates, so wanted to check in with you all!

@Crossfitgirl Thankyou, in the end Seabands helped me with easing the nausea, not taking them off until birth lol!
I'm 14w4 today. Seems to be going quicker now in 2nd Trimester. When's your scan @Crossfitgirl?
I've booked a gender scan for the 9th Feb 💗💙

@FivexFive I felt wet downstairs when I got my BFP and I still get it now, apparently it's totally normal. Congrats again 🥰

@Crossfitgirl Hi, I'm not pregnant yet!! Ttc number 2. Finally my husband has agreed and so we are trying again 1st month no success. It took us 5 years last time, don't have that long to try this time so it's kind of now or never!!

@mrsc87 ooh that's exciting! I have been thinking about having a gender scan before the 20 week scan. I'm so desperate to know what we're having. My 12 week scan is on 28th Jan, so a week on Monday. How far on do you have to be for gender? I read its about 15 weeks plus?

I may have to put my Seabands back on again. I am meant to be a godparent at my friend's son's christening tomorrow, DH has had to ring them to pre warn them if I still feel so ill I might not be able to go.

@beansprout79 ahh hun everyone on here is pregnant! We were all on the TTC first baby thread together, that is a lovely thread for ttc support. It moves fast though, I think they are on thread #11 now! Good luck with baby number 2, 5 years is a long time but lots say the 2nd seems easier to catch x

I think its 16 weeks + for gender scan. I'll be 17.5 weeks when I go @Crossfitgirl

@crossfitgirl sounds exactly like me last weekend at 11 weeks. Headaches and nausea. It's passed again now so there is light! Very much sounds like the placenta taking over x

OK I'm so done with this first trimester now. I feel so ill, my belly aches and I just want to eat normal food again. The heaving is annoying and unproductive. The constipation is a literal pain in the arse. I think DP has also had enough too! Cmon baby sort it out!

@crossfitgirl, sorry hun I missed your post about not waiting till the morning!! I was out last night so had to wait anyways.

Here is my digital! I saw a post on another thread saying to add 2 weeks to the result? Is that correct? That would put be at about 5 weeks?? Xx

Sorry, better pic attached, it's too early! I woke up at 5 and have had too many thoughts to be able to go back to sleep!!

@FivexFive Hi lovely, congratulations! The CB digital tests go off levels of HCG meaning you have levels suggesting you are 4-5 weeks pregnant :) The hospital will date it from your last period - there’s a handy calculator here: www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/due-date-calculator/

@EltzBee that's crazy!! Women especially should know better!! But like @Crossfitgirl said sometimes people don't think.
Yay!! Not long to go for you! I have my scan when I'm pretty much the same stage as you but mines the following week as I'm a week or so behind you. Mine said about parking too but I've been there plenty of times and it's never ever taken me a hour to park. My appt is at 8.45 I think! But ofcs I will allow extra time. My hospital has a Costa in so will go there if I'm super early (DH can have a coffee). Also you have to have a pint of water a hour before right? Mine didn't mention how much the scans costs actually. We told our best friends last night which was so so nice but she asked for one too! I hear you about smaller portions. I need to remember that though cos I get so hungry and then inhale my food and then instantly regret it. Ah you must be so excited to see him!!!!

@FivexFive that dampness you're describing I'm still experiencing and I'm 6+4. I think it's there for the duration. I often didn't wear knickers with outfits but I've had to change my commando habits! I'm not sure how to work our dates from digitals but I do remember the sheet in the box explained it? I read it while I was bored waiting for it to do its thing! So you're further along than you though anyway if it was 2-3 weeks? Unless it is twins 🤭

@Crossfitgirl I've tried a few pregnancy boards but if I don't sit there watching it my post gets lost amongst the hundreds. I've given up with them now. Oh no about feeling sick again! Hopefully it was a short spout of it and it's not returned for you!! How you feeling today?

On symptoms, so glad to hear it's all going away now @MrsC87. Mine is sooo much better at 11+5, but still waking up feeling sick and get bad headaches now which is new. But tiredness gone which is a huge relief! Can't wait for 2nd TrI either!

Anyone follow Mrs Hinch on insta? Slightly obsessed with her at the mo 😂 my house never been so clean haha! But just saw she having a boy and is super cute! Makes me want to find out but DH says we sticking to team yellow! Ahh.

@MrsEG, thanks for the tip on the dates! I am a little further along than expected 🙂

@MrsLBear, sounds like I'd better get used to feeling damp! I joked to dh it could be twins, he went a bit pale bless him!

@SullyWifey, I haven't seen mrs Hinch but the girls at work rave about her!! There's a netflix one now about tidying/de cluttering as well, but I can't remember what it's called!!

@Crossfitgirl to be fair I was struggling with awful nausea and sickness on Monday so she probably guessed from my rather frequent trips to the ladies and looking pretty rough. I don't think she meant to be rude, just shocked me lol.

DH got back yesterday (Yay!). Nausea and sickness is coming and going. Friday it didn't stay all day, Sat I felt okay but today it's back with a vengeance! Ah fun.

@MrsLBear my letter says there is no need to have a full bladder before! Weird lol. There's a Pret at our hospital from memory so will wait there with a drink i think. When's your booking appt? Mine is the 7th so week before scan. Keep telling little bean to hold on tight.

Think a few people mentioned feeling wet down there, yeah it seems to be normal! Today I feel it more noticeable as well it seems to vary. Nausea is back in fill swing boo. DH doing some housework, I've done the minimum the past week as been so shattered. Bless him!

@eltzbee @mrslbear just checked mine as couldn’t remember and it says for my hospital “comfortably full bladder”, must all be different. Got my scan Thursday 😬

@stormtrooperjulian congratulations lovely :) wonderful news!

@sunshine1987 Yep you’re supposed to have a ‘comfortably full’ bladder for the 12 week scan - a full bladder helps move the uterus up and moves the bowel away for better imaging, so you can see the little one much clearer! Good luck on Thursday.

I have my second scan on Thursday too. I honestly don’t know how to feel about it at the moment. Just trying to keep positive and keeping everything crossed. Happy Sunday to you all :)

@SullyWifey I saw her post this am! Made me cry!!!! I know me too! I'm determined to stick to not knowing though.

@EltzBee ah a pret is way better!! My fave. Miss my skinny caramel cappuccinos! My booking appt is next Friday so 3 weeks before my scan.
Funny you should say that @sunshine1987 because I thought it was a full bladder too and a pint isn't an awful lot of water really. I will drink a bit more than that maybe. I know someone who drank too much and then had to wee a little before and she weed too much and had to reschedule her appointment!! I'd be gutted! Eeekkkkk! Bet you're so excited. Thursday will come round in a blink.
