Just wanted to catch up with everyone from the TTC thread. I know some of us have July due dates and others August due dates, so wanted to check in with you all!
How are you all doing?

@EltzBee I've got some m and s ones and they are so comfy. Also with you on the dry hands mine are so bad

MrsLBear · 18/01/2019 18:17

@EltzBee same here with the tender boobs. My nipples actually ached this morning. Was so annoying!! I've read you should wear a comfy sports bra or something to help with the soreness as underwiring makes it worse which it does! H&M ones looked quite comfy but haven't got any yet. Whoops just saw @ChaosMoon said the same!
Also your colleague is so rude!! It's like rule 101. Never ask a woman if she's pregnant! How ignorant of them. Was it a female?

FivexFive · 19/01/2019 11:11

Hi guys, can I join in? I remember most you guys from our mega ttc thread! I just got this today, so it's pretty new... think I'm due sept/oct 🙂

Oh wow @FivexFive those are amazing lines!!!
Welcome!!! 😃
When was your period due?

MrsLBear · 19/01/2019 11:31

I also now get the bloat some of you have been talking about. I had one chicken strip wrap for dinner last night and oh my word I had a stomach of a 9 month pregnant lady. Was so painful as well!! I've had a few nights now and also after lunch. Makes me anxious about eating!!

sunshine1987 · 19/01/2019 11:35

@fivexfive massive congratulations 💜 that’s a blooming clear positive xx

EltzBee · 19/01/2019 11:37

@MrsLBear yep a female colleague. I couldn't believe it, everyone knows you don't say anything. Oh well!

Got my scan date through today, 15th Feb. I'll be 11w6 then. It says to allow an hour to get parked though, eek. Gonna be an early start! Lol. Was amazed to read in the letter it is £5 per scan photo!!

DH on the plane home, roll on this evening :)

Oh on the bloating - I have to eat smaller portions now, I just can't eat what I used to on one go. But I'm always hungry! Grazing lol.

sunshine1987 · 19/01/2019 11:40

@eltzbee an hour to park and £5 a photo?! Bloody Nora 🙈 our hospital asks for a small donation to be made it says. £5 though a photo?! Ouch x

FivexFive · 19/01/2019 12:04

@mrslbear, I was due anytime over the last couple of days (my cycle is usually 28-31)

No real symptoms, but felt really 'damp' in the 'down there' region for a couple of days which seemed odd. Took a test today fully expecting bfn/af... but there it was, my bfp! Xx

EltzBee · 19/01/2019 12:09

@sunshine1987 yup, parking is notoriously bad at John Radcliffe. Our appt is 9.20. Might need a nap after lol.

Yeah I can't believe it! It says "scan photos: there is a standard charge of £5 per ultrasound image. Payment can be cash/debit card. Change is not available in the department."

"If you plan to come by car allow at least an hour to find a parking space.". ....

EltzBee · 19/01/2019 12:09

@FivexFive congrats:)

RanchoRelaxo · 19/01/2019 12:38

Congratulations @FivexFive! Beautiful lines
@EltzBee £5! Ours arnt much better at £4 each, luckily I had a fiver on me because we couldn't pay by card, I would have been gutted if I couldn't have had one!

Delilah7 · 19/01/2019 15:31

@FivexFive oh my god!!! Congratulations hun! Xxx

SullyWifey · 19/01/2019 15:48

@FivexFive wow that's a mega BFP. Isn't it the best most surreal feeling?! Biggest congrats!!!xx

BeanSprout79 · 19/01/2019 16:10

Hi Ladies, please can I join? Smile

Crossfitgirl · 19/01/2019 16:39

@eltzbee ours are £5 per photo too! Suppose it's a luxury rather than necessity for the NHS, but still. A fiver is a lot!
@gemmajen ENJOY IT. do not wish it upon yourself. It will come! And you'll regret asking for it! Haha.
@fivexfive congratulations! That is a super strong line!! How many dpo were you when you took that? Mine was sooo faint I had to wait a week to get a line like that!

It's nice to have familiar names from the other thread, as the pregnancy boards on here are mental.

I'm feeling awful today. Mega headache, so bloated I feel sick, and for first time actually nearly was sick but managed to refrain as had a massage client in at 3pm and was far too late to cancel them... Just got back, I feel absolutely terrible now.
I'm going for a bath and to bed 😩😩😩
Even the paracetamol I took hasn't touched me and so now I feel like I took it pointlessly and wish I hadn't bothered.

11 weeks tomorrow. I hope to god its just an off day, and not the MS returning with a vengeance like others have said at 11 weeks! Been feeling much better past couple of weeks and was hoping to get back to the gym! Absolutely no chance :-(

Crossfitgirl · 19/01/2019 16:41

Hey @beansprout79 I don't think I was on the thread when you were! Welcome. How far along are you? X

Crossfitgirl · 19/01/2019 16:48

@eltzbee why did she think you were pregnant? I'm sure she probably didnt mean offence. People don't always think before they speak and I'm sure she won't have meant to be rude, its like when people ask when kids are coming along - it's a natural sort of question that a lot of people don't think much about asking, but when ttc or having fertility issues it can appear insensitive. I had a few people ask me if I'm pregnant even before i was!! Haha I think that's worse!! Maybe she just had an inkling and voiced it without thinking.

My pregnant work colleague clocked me the other day eating dry crackers. She didn't say anything, but I did actually tell her as it was her last day before maternity and i knew I'd be off when she got back. She said tbh I kinda guessed as soon as I saw you nibbling on dry crackers!
Some people are just intuitive and she may have just not thought about the fact you may not want anyone to know yet xx

FivexFive · 19/01/2019 16:57

@delilah7 @sullywifey @crossfitgirl @ranchorelaxo, it's sooo nice to see you ladies!! Hope you're all well?? Xxx

I think I was about 12 dpo... But... my period in Dec super short, really light and a little early... so part of me wonders if it was a period?! I got cb digital to take tomorrow, to see how many weeks it says I am. But might just be that I am only a couple of weeks and that the hormones just showed up quite strong? We'll see! Dh has ordered a pregnancy book!! Xx

MrsC87 · 19/01/2019 17:16

Hey ladies I'm back, sorry I've been AWOL but sickness was severe, but I can finally say it's disappeared now I'm in the 2nd Trimester whoop whoop 🙌🏻
I know I've missed loads so I apologise!
Big congrats to you @FivexFive so happy pleased!
How's everyone doing?

Crossfitgirl · 19/01/2019 17:43

Yay @mrsc87! So glad it's gone for you. It must feel so awesome to be out of that stage and onto feeling good! How many weeks now? I'm wishing away this first trimester so badly right at this moment. I feel truly rotten. One week to go til 12 weeks... Come oooonnnnn!

@fivexfive oooh that will be interesting... My line was super faint at 12dpo but it could be either scenario, let us know what the cbd says! How are you feeling? Xx

Crossfitgirl · 19/01/2019 17:46

Also @fivexfive you could take that CB digi today, it's so dark you won't need to wait for fmu. Mine worked and showed me at 1-2 weeks when my frer still looked like this...
You know you want to!!

FivexFive · 19/01/2019 17:48

@crossfitgirl, I'll let you know what tomorrows digital says!! Physically I feel fine, no symptoms apart from The Damp (which is annoying as I keep panicking, thinking I'll go to check and see blood, but it's just clear, thank god!) I was in shock this morning, wasn't expecting the bfp to be honest, especially one that strong! But I'm getting used to it 🙂 Dh is really happy, which is a relief as I he needed a bit of prodding into ttc!! He assures me we will be all good, blessso him!! Xx

GemmaJen · 19/01/2019 17:57

@fivexfive congratulations, lovely dark lines on that test. Mine looked similar at 12dpo, I got quite a clear positive at 8dpo, it could be that you implanted early so it's had a good few days to double up? Or as many people say, maybe twins 😁

FivexFive · 19/01/2019 18:11

@gemmajen, omg I hope not!! Twins could be a little much!! They don't run in either family, so hopefully there's just the one!! Xx
