Just wanted to catch up with everyone from the TTC thread. I know some of us have July due dates and others August due dates, so wanted to check in with you all!
How are you all doing?

Morning lovely, all ok here, just waiting patiently for symptoms to kick in so I feel something. Was saying to @crossfitgirl that i’ll regret saying that lol. How are you? xx

@cookiewaffle join us xx

sunshine1987 · 06/12/2018 10:02

@mrsof20118

MrsC87 · 06/12/2018 10:04

I was the same at 5 weeks, no symptoms which is why I got the early scan. But week 7 nearly 8 and the tiredness is unreal!! @sunshine1987 going to bed at 7.30 and sleeping 12 hours other than waking up millions of times for a pee!
Thanks for adding, baby brain couldn't remember everyone!
Enjoy the no symptoms for now 😜

Oh hey ladies! Thanks for inviting me :)

You can have all my symptoms if you like! The nausea has gone down now but the cramps just never go away and I just feel like I'm coming down with something all the time! I can't wait to move house this weekend....

RanchoRelaxo · 06/12/2018 12:03

Hi guys! So strange I was literally thinking of starting this thread yesterday, I even started getting everyone's names together 😂 it's my booking in appointment this afternoon and I am approx 8 weeks now :)

MrsC87 · 06/12/2018 14:23

You've a busy weekend then @CookieWaffle have you lots of people helping you?
@RanchoRelaxo I'm 8 weeks tomo. Good luck with the booking appointment, I found it made it all very real 😳

Hey guysss! Oh it's nice to have familiar faces and a small thread, I can't keep up with the pregnancy one I'm on at all!
Am I the earliest here at 4+4?

I had really bad cramping and sore nipples for a few days but it's completely subsided now... I actually went part of the day today forgetting i was pregnant! @sunshine1987 have you had any at all? I'm a bit freaked that mine were there and have now gone... but as you say I'll probably regret it in a couple of weeks!

So happy to see you all on here:-) @ranchorelaxo is that the first midwife appointment? Exciting! Xxx

sunshine1987 · 06/12/2018 21:45

@crossfitgirl I had really sore boobs and cramps when I first found out but been feeling absoloutely fine since. I’ve been temping still so I know it’s all ok at the moment so not worrying, having spoken to a few people they didn’t get anything until 6 weeks xx

Crossfitgirl · 06/12/2018 21:57

@sunshine1987 hopefully if it's the same for both of us it's a sign it's normal. Plus we might just be lucky and have none throughout... who knows! My friend said all of her pregnancies were totally different, some she was sick as a dog, others she was fine. I have stopped temping, I think I'd over-analyze every .01 drop and worry too much. I'm happy with the fact AF has still not come :-) are you still using FF?

I'll be around the 6 week mark when we go away for my birthday for the weekend. I can feel a sods law coming on!!

Bettyhop · 06/12/2018 21:58

One of the early birds here at 16+1😍 starting to enjoy this pregnancy business now. The sickness is still getting me down but all feels worth it now I've felt the first baby flutters❤ congratulations to you all xxx

sunshine1987 · 06/12/2018 22:00

@crossfitgirl yeah I am, too be honest I’ve surprised myself with how chilled out I am being. I know I’ve got no control over anything so just trying to enjoy it whilst I’m in the nice stages of pregnancy xx

sunshine1987 · 06/12/2018 22:00

@bettyhop so glad everything’s going well 💜

Crossfitgirl · 06/12/2018 22:22

Thank you @bettyhop wow that's gone fast! 16 weeks! Do you have a scan pic?
@cookiewaffle we moved 3 weeks ago, not fun but great to be in before Xmas! but you must be soooo excited to be moving into your family home with a premade little family inside you! Good luck and I hope it goes smoothly :-) xx
@sunshine1987 chilled is the way forward! I feel a lot less anxious than I did a week ago. Like you say, everything is totally out of our control... so best just enjoy the ride whatever it may bring xx

CookieWaffle · 07/12/2018 07:36

@MrsC87 family is coming up so we'll have lots of hands at the ready :)

@Crossfitgirl thanks :) and yes, although I think DP is grieving for his man cave that he was hoping for!

I haven't told my family yet but I suspect it may come out when they wonder why I'm so exhausted this weekend!

Crossfitgirl · 07/12/2018 07:49

@cookiewaffle haha totally get that - DH wanted a "games room" which is now probably gonna be the nursery lol. (Not the walk in wardrobe I had wanted to be fair haha)

I'm sure you're family will be over the moon - will you tell them or will you see if they notice anything?
We plan to tell parents and close family at Christmas- I'll be 7 weeks then x

Crossfitgirl · 07/12/2018 07:50

*your, not you're. Lol.

CookieWaffle · 07/12/2018 08:11

@Crossfitgirl I've been planning out the new house and given him options for how we can make it work with what he wants :) He's got a year before he loses his new room anyway!

I'm gonna hold off and see if i have to give in and tell. I'm still skeptical that this is real yet! I'm still expecting to wake up with AF...

RanchoRelaxo · 07/12/2018 13:30

Booking in went great thanks :) we have got the first scan on the 2nd Jan!
@Crossfitgirl I have had cramping on an off, mostly in the first few weeks though, and my sore boobs have been mostly sore, but a few days they have felt normal, think it's normal for symptoms to come and go!
@Bettyhop woo 16 weeks! Can't believe it's that far!
@CookieWaffle good luck for the move, I know how stressful it is! Never mind moving when preggers!

SenoraSurf · 07/12/2018 15:02

It is soooo nice seeing familiar names again. I can't keep up with the pregnancy thread and whenever I comment it's just lost in all their ongoing conversations unfortunately.
I didn't comment too regularly on the ttc thread but followed since July.
Currently 5+6 and off work today with horrendous nausea. Yet to actually be sick though.
Hope everyone has got more used to the idea of being pregnant now! Xx

CookieWaffle · 07/12/2018 15:16

Thanks @RanchoRelaxo! Glad your booking in went well :) xx

Hey @SenoraSurf looks like you're a few days ahead of me. I hope that's not what's to come for me next week! Does your work know yet?

sunshine1987 · 07/12/2018 15:34

@senorasurf nausea is so much worse than actually being sick 😔 hope you’re alright. Funny how we all feel so different at around the same time, I’m waiting patiently (not) to feel something pregnancy related xx

Crossfitgirl · 07/12/2018 16:34

Thanks @ranchorelaxo that's reassuring, it's like I started to feel pregnant but now I don't! My body teasing me! @cookiewaffle are you just over 5 weeks? I'll be 5 weeks on Sunday. This week has gone soooo slowly! @senorasurf I still can't quite believe it, I don't think it will sink in properly until we have a scan - or I get sick! Has it sunk in for you? Hope you start to feel better soon. Nausea is awful... I would not be able to cope im so pathetic. Do you think you'd feel any better if you were actually sick?
@sunshine1987 sounds like we have it cushy for now... hehe

CookieWaffle · 07/12/2018 17:49

@Crossfitgirl I guess I'm 5+2 ish.I'm not sure how to work it out!

DP's work has given us a bottle of rose champagne which looks amazing. One glass would be OK right??....

SenoraSurf · 07/12/2018 17:54

@CookieWaffle it's horrid. Literally felt like I've been on a rollercoaster all week (and I HATE rollercoasters!). I've not told work yet but just got my booking appointment through for next Thursday. Contemplating telling my head teacher but not 100% decided yet.

@sunshine1987 it's crazy how our bodies work! Hopefully you'll get some nice reassuring 'yes I'm pregnant' symptoms, but not horrid symptoms.

@Crossfitgirl totally know what you mean. A scan will be the cherry on the cake lol. I must admit, I'm struggling. I also can't do up my trousers with all the bloat. I'm a size 6/8 so it looks like I've eaten a big Christmas dinner every hour of the day. I wish I could be sick (probably naive of me to think), but I honestly feel like I'd feel better if I could puke and crack on with my day! We shall see what comes of the next few weeks Blush

SenoraSurf · 07/12/2018 17:55

@CookieWaffle I don't think baby shares your blood directly yet so alcohol won't harm baby as it would later in pregnancy? X
