Kyle
Ellie
Jaden/Jayden
Chanelle
etc etc... and apologies if you have called your child any of the above
I put Ellie because a squillion little girls are called that.
Freya is a nice name but there are so many now - it really turns me against such names,no matter whether they are nice

I love it, and it suits her very well, actualy, that's the problem isn't it, it's the nice names that always become too popular and then stop being quite so nice.
Problem solved, call your child something really horrible like... (struggles to think of a name that noone on mn can be offended by)... and fails.

bettybobo · 06/06/2007 17:28

ha ha there's loads, once you think about it you see them all the time in the supermarket
desiree, maris and piper hah haha

southeastastra · 06/06/2007 17:28

desiree

that's quite nice

i wish i'd called my son JR that would really have suited him

hellish · 06/06/2007 17:29

I've got it, I heard of an actual child called;
Noam Tree Tree

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 06/06/2007 17:29

Reilly is appealing.. it makes me think of a really naughty but desirable man for some reason!

Or maybe I am just ovulating!

OrmIrian · 06/06/2007 17:29

I was called Spud when I was little girl because of my name. Not because I was a chubby round little thing at all... oh no.

Blandmum · 06/06/2007 17:29

We are seeing increasing numbers ot Teejays and Peejays etc

lailasmum · 06/06/2007 17:29

desiree are the red potatoes so could be a good name for a red head child

TaylorsMummy · 06/06/2007 17:29

i would like to use brogan if i ever have another dd.i'm waiting for that to get slagged off now like kye for a boy.

bettybobo · 06/06/2007 17:30

Anya good one!!!

Jacket yes he would be last of 8 ha ha

scorpio1 · 06/06/2007 17:30

we are ttc and im going to call him either Jasper or Toby

AnneJones · 06/06/2007 17:30

Spudulica (it's exotic)

lailasmum · 06/06/2007 17:30

My cousin's son is called Kye. Its really commonplace round here which may explain why its not one of top names.

Desiderata · 06/06/2007 17:30

Err, what if there's someone on here whose child is called Reilly, Shiny.

Doesn't that make your previous outburst a little hypocritical?

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 06/06/2007 17:31

As I have stated before on these type of threads I know of a Truly Scrumptious, Dollie Mollie and Honey Bea. They are sisters.

And while I stand by my earlier comments, I reserve the right to comment on these!

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 06/06/2007 17:31

Well, Reilly has to grow up and some point doesn't he? And I am seriously not being classist!

Desiderata · 06/06/2007 17:32

Ha ha! You got me. I though you said 'Reilly is appalling.

TaylorsMummy · 06/06/2007 17:32

oh i love kye,i want to use it before any of my mates or family do!! lol

Blandmum · 06/06/2007 17:32

and don't forget the famous Chip of the ORT books

aren't Brogans shoes, or am I thinking of something else????

AnneJones · 06/06/2007 17:32

Lordy. I think if you call your child Truly Scrumptious you have to be aware there will be some giggling.

lailasmum · 06/06/2007 17:33

Think they spell Kye, Kai if its the same name.

Peachy · 06/06/2007 17:33

Isaac???

it's a lovely name, I love (obv not Arpachshad or Serug) common Biblical names.
Like esther, or Abraham. DS1 has a Biblical name (Samuel).

Nobody likes ds2 and ds3 names. And I so don't care (Stirlinga nd harold FWIW).

lailasmum · 06/06/2007 17:34

My Hubbie is a Samuel his brother is Joshua

Blandmum · 06/06/2007 17:34

How about Abishag? good biblical name

scorpio1 · 06/06/2007 17:34

Biff
Kipper
Chip
...... oh yeah
