I think it would sound simply desperate ,as if you wanted to come across as both interesting and posh.

nogoes · 05/06/2007 20:18

Not sure, it sounds a little pretentious although I can see it becoming more popular and once used by the masses it might sound a bit common.

the thing with names if that once you get to know and like the person you start to like the name too, so, even though ATM Orlando makes me think of that place in Florida, I'm sure that if I knew and liked an actual Orlando then the name would take on a different significance. I actually do like the name itself.

TaylorsMummy · 05/06/2007 20:19

jayden nicer see if you can convince him, lol.

MrsBadger · 05/06/2007 20:19

I like it in theory but it does kind of presuppose a slightly artistic otherwordliness. I mean, you can't imagine an Orlando ever playing rugby. Or being shouted at to get a round in in the pub.

On the whole I'd prefer something more versatile and less, well, poncey.

mummyto2littleprincess · 05/06/2007 20:19

he likes jayden too but iv got months to go anyway lol

Somethings only belong in Shakespeare

MrsBadger · 05/06/2007 20:20

...but I think Jayden might be too far in the other direction.

BreeVanDerCamp · 05/06/2007 20:20

First thing I thought of was Disneyland TBH.

whomovedmychocolate · 05/06/2007 20:20

Jayden is a bit Argos though isn't it?
