I did nm auction and got Wotsit only to find there was a Wotsits (plural) - hence from Wotzsane to wotsit to wotz!]

A book which I have not read by an Author which I cannot at this moment remember.

Wotz · 05/06/2007 20:21

LesleyR · 05/06/2007 20:22

Just asked my DH what he thinks:
"Ridiculous! Was it conceived in Florida?"
Have to say I'm not keen either, but I do find that children grow into their names. Have friends with kids whose names I wasn't sure about who suit them so much now I couldn't imagine them as anything else IYSWIM.

Mercy · 05/06/2007 20:22

A friend of mine married an Orlando. How we laughed - he was a pompous prentious dick ime as befits his name.

Don't get the fat people and dolphins association tbh.......

TaylorsMummy · 05/06/2007 20:22

do your others have unusual names? i suppose it depends what it has to 'go' with

Rubyslippers · 05/06/2007 20:22

I like it, those stories about the marmalade cat were really nice. You'll get told you chose it because of Orlando Bloom though, if you can live with that then go ahead!!

It is a really nice name.

ProjectIcarus · 05/06/2007 20:31

Taylors Mummy is correct. Sorry if blunt it was my immediate reaction.

honeyapple · 06/06/2007 10:53

I had a friend called Orlando- we used to call him Orlo. I think it is a lovely name.
I know your DP was teasing you about it....
However, Jayden is (IMO) dreadful.
