Hi guys, I'm reasonably young but I'm not sure if I'm pregnant- I know to be certain I need to see a GP (I'm doing it this week but I would like peace of mind). I'm not sure if I'm pregnant, I have a lot of signs telling me I'm not, e.g regular periods since I started when I was 13/ I have no other pregnancy symptoms apart from nausea but I haven't actually been sick so I guessed it was PMS/I've had stomach cramps but again put it down to PMS. I've had back pain- but I've had a bad back for a couple of years from the sport I do.
Me and my boyfriend use a condom every time but that's the only method of birth-control, as far as I know the condom has never split- but I know there is always a chance it failed.
I have however had unusual bloating for a couple of months when I first got it I put it down to PMS, but its continued for a while this is the main reason I think I'm pregnant. Being very sporty I always had a flat stomach but now I don't, although tbh I don't even know if it is bloating as I've heard bloating is hard, but when you push my abdomen its soft and squishy-Is this what a pregnancy bump is like? Also I've read you can feel the top of the uterus above the pubic bone- do you know how many weeks you start to feel this from as I have no clue how far along I am because of the regular bleeding.
I know I have had monthly bleeding, but I've read that you can bleed monthly and still be pregnant- how common is this- is it anything like a period, e.g does pregnancy bleeding just come at anytime, rather than on a cycle like a period does?? Is there any physical difference in the way the blood looks colour/consistency?? How’s long does pregnancy bleeding last e.g 5-7 days like a period or does it vary??
Or are thy just exactly the same?
(I don’t mean spotting I mean physical bleeding during pregnancy- as I know some women have been pregnant and mistaken it for a period ??)
I hope they are my periods as they don't seem different to usual and they come regularly. I really cant be pregnant and I'm getting anxiety over it, I'm crying because of it- can someone please reassure me.
also I've had a bad cough for about a month and I've lost 6kg in two months without trying if this helps?!
Also taken 3 pregnancy tests all negative!

please let me know if I'm worrying unnecessarily??

Thanks x

Please go to your dr, loosing weight so quickly might need investigating. If the tests are negative, you're not pregnant ❤️

Could it be bad ibs? Or check for coeliacs.

BertrandRussell · 06/08/2018 08:30

If you’’vet done three pregnancy tests and they are all negative it’s vanishingly unlikely that you’re pregnant. It sounds as if there’s something else going on- you’ll know more when you’ve seen the doctor.

Stephisaur · 06/08/2018 08:37

If the tests are coming back negative and you've been having regular bleeds, then I would assume you aren't pregnant.

However, the symptoms you have are worrying so definitely speak to your doctor to see if there's an underlying cause. x

As per your previous thread, it doesn’t sound like you are pregnant but you should discuss your symptoms with your GP.

SoyDora · 06/08/2018 08:40

I commented on your previous thread... it is very very unlikely you are pregnant in the circumstances you describe, however you have some worrying symptoms and need to see a GP as soon as possible.

The photo Ian of 4 pregnancy tests- the top one was one I’ve just done x

They’re negative.
I really think you need to stop focussing on the pregnancy aspect of this (it’s vanishingly unlikely) and speak to your GP about what could be causing your symptoms.

Creatureofthenight · 06/08/2018 08:46

That looks negative to me too.

rainbowstardrops · 06/08/2018 09:17

You definitely need to see your GP. Hope you get it all sorted soon

crl200 · 06/08/2018 10:20

I know its unlikely but I just have anxiety and I am getting overly worked up x

I understand that you’re getting worked up over the pregnancy issue, but I really think you’re focussing on the wrong issue. Your symptoms are very very unlikely to indicate pregnancy, however they could indicate other health issues which is what you need to discuss with a GP. Have you booked an appointment yet?

crl200 · 06/08/2018 12:25

Due to have blood tests this afternoon x

After seeing my GP she located tenderness in my upper abdomen...is this common to pregnancy...as I thought pregnancy was lower abdomen.
Or does anyone have an idea of what this could be due to my symptoms?
thank you x

SoyDora · 06/08/2018 17:12

No tenderness in the upper abdomen wouldn’t be a typical symptom of early pregnancy.
Did she give any indication as to what she thought it could be? Did you have blood tests?

Creatureofthenight · 06/08/2018 17:19

Abdominal pain could be a symptom of different things (not pregnancy related). Is your GP waiting for the blood tests to come back before diagnosis?

MonkeyBrainsInPickle · 06/08/2018 17:20

You are not pregnant. You need to ask your doctor what tests etc you need to determine what is causing your symptoms.

crl200 · 06/08/2018 17:32

Yes my GP is sending my blood off tomorrow so hopefully results in the next couple of days x

BertrandRussell · 06/08/2018 17:49

I’m asssuming your doctor confirmed that you are not pregnant?

crl200 · 06/08/2018 17:53

No as blood tests come back in 72 hours, then we can confirm

OP posts:
SoyDora · 06/08/2018 17:53

Do you know what bloods she took?

crl200 · 06/08/2018 17:54

SoyDora what do you mean ??

OP posts:
SoyDora · 06/08/2018 18:20

There are a variety of different tests they do which look for different things. For example a full blood count, iron levels etc. I was just wondering if you know which ones she did?

crl200 · 06/08/2018 18:25

She mentioned a few I know she was going to check liver and kidneys because of the pain, I think iron count but I'm not sure what others x

Doesn't sound like pregnancy at all, you have no real pregnancy symptoms tbh. I would be thinking more like a food intolerance or digestive issue but obviously you'll know more when the bloods come back. I'd say forget the pregnancy notion completely though.
