@HidCat they certainly are horrible but I’m glad yours clear up for you after some rest :) I’ve had them occasionally through the day today, though not as bad as at night when I feel like I have to constantly stretch my legs! Yay you’ve had your scan date through, not too long to wait though I can imagine it feels like a lifetime away! I’m sure everything is going to be perfect for you 😄

AceyMac13 · 08/08/2018 16:12

@HidCat - thanks so much for posting that! I’m going to try all of those things, in the hope of having a leg cramp free night, or at least not as bad as usual!

thecherryontop · 08/08/2018 18:11

Is anyone else feeling more and more nauseous as the days go on? I dont remember feeling this sick with my first. Constantly feel rough and want my bed!

Minichuch · 08/08/2018 18:27

@thecherryontop yes that is me too at the moment - I'm so tired and generally queasy - never had this with my 1st either! Even my DH has commented on how different I am this time!

Angelmiracle · 08/08/2018 18:43

@Minichuch
@thecherryontop

Me too started Sunday at 7 weeks morning evening and night nausea afternoon is ok ish lol. Tired too 💤

Mamawithnumber2 · 08/08/2018 19:01

Hi everyone. I'm joining you lovely lot. My baby is due 5th march. I have a son who's 9 and the age gap is due to two ectopics. But he's thrilled to be getting a sibling. We've had two scans already but not seeing my midwife until the 16th so I'm guessing I won't get my 12 week scan until 14-16 weeks xx

Mum2bejac · 08/08/2018 19:04

@thecherryontop
I feel like that but if I eat it's better.
I feel constantly starving to the point of feeling sick. Does anyone else get that feeling?
Unfortunately fruit won't satisfy that feeling either for me

absolutehush · 08/08/2018 19:23

Just wrote a long post but it's got lost somewhere...

Please may I join you all? Due 29/3/19 so am 7 weeks.

The nausea is terrible. All day, everyday. All I want are beige carbs...
Also, is anyone else suffering with insomnia and very very vivid dreams?

Congrats to everyone on their beans!

thecherryontop · 08/08/2018 19:46

Yes to the insomnia and vivid dreams! I'm also literally clock watching until I can go to bed, feel so ill I can hardly tolerate listening to people!

Mum2bejac · 08/08/2018 20:01

Hi @absolutehush and @mamawithnumber2

Yes I am having crazy vivid dreams! And I am constantly exhausted. Like I could sit down all day long and still is fall asleep in the middle of the day

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 08/08/2018 20:05

@absolutehush I've had vivid dreams pretty much every night since BFP. I woke up really annoyed at my OH the other day for something he'd done in my dream and couldn't really shake the feeling all day 😂

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 08/08/2018 20:30

Has anyone else lost weight so far? I've lost about 3kg since finding out I'm pregnant. I've not had morning sickness as such, I've just felt a bit nauseous. Ive just got no appetite. I'm starving until I get food in front of me and then I can't manage more than a few mouthfuls. Mostly I've just been eating salad and veg as they don't leave me feeling so full and groggy (digestive wise) I'm not worried yet as It's not as if I can't keep anything down or I'm starving myself. Just curious if anyone else is finding they are losing weight too.

absolutehush · 08/08/2018 20:36

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever no, no weight loss yet - I feel sick enough but i think all the beige carbs are keeping me going...

I'm glad that everyone else is having the dreams - I thought it might be just me. I've had some awful nightmares!

Mamawithnumber2 · 08/08/2018 20:52

I don't think I can sleep long enough to have a dream. I too have all day sickness, totally gone off all food, even seeing some people makes me feel even more sick 🙈 I didn't even know I was pregnant until two weeks ago. I though I was dying! We were starting IVF in December. I had one of my Fallopian tubes clipped last November & they didn't bother clipping my other tube as they said it was so damaged from being operated on from my first ectopic that it wasn't even worth clipping. Shows what they know hey 😂

melissa112 · 08/08/2018 20:55

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever I've lost 8lbs in the last couple of weeks. I feel terrible from morning to night. If I'm not asleep then I either feel sick or lately, am being sick. I feel thoroughly miserable. I know I should be excited and I am, but I just feel so down. I feel guilty because I can barely eat. I'm taking the seven seas multivitamin and am forcing myself almost to keep it down so I'm at least getting something but it's not ideal. I tried to venture into work for the first time in a week today but had to leave at 9am (I start at 7:30am) and I've been in bed since.

At least you're managing to eat the good stuff though 😊 have you been sick at all?

Does anyone else not have sore boobs? I started off with them but they don't feel sore at all now
..or bigger. Not felt them sore for a few weeks but had 2 scans since and baby is ok.

Mum2bejac · 08/08/2018 21:01

My boobs have been sore since bfp.... only the under boob, not so much the nipples. And they suddenly went up a cup size straight away and stopped growing weeks ago.
@melissa112 I hope you start to feel better soon - sounds like you're going through it x

AceyMac13 · 08/08/2018 21:24

I’m with you ladies on the vivid dreams, some of them feel so real! I also keep dreaming that I’m having twins 😂
Ugh, my nausea has wiped the floor with me since a couple days before I got my BFP, it seems to be worse in the morning and afternoon, and rarely turns into actually being sick.

Angelmiracle · 08/08/2018 21:37

Another with wildly vivid dreams and 2/3 days a week if insomnia but I was worse prior to BFP.

Bought Sea Bands from the chemist today because taking DS to swimming lessons today was a struggle. I think they have helped I was able to make dinner and eat a little.

absolutehush · 08/08/2018 21:44

@Angelmiracle ohhh do they work you think? I'm so tired of feeling awful.

Angelmiracle · 08/08/2018 22:07

@absolutehush not a cure but have helped me with nausea this evening was able to make dinner and DH lunch lol.

Funnybunnyfluff · 08/08/2018 22:39

Has anyone been really moody?
I'm ok at work but feel like I'm moody and snappy towards my husband and I don't mean to be. I'm just tired and maybe because his the only one that knows.

No dreams here but I wake up 5/6 times a night, use the loo 2/3 tines a night, which is annoying me, heat doesn't help. Then around 5am I can sleep for forever and have to get up for work.

myotherbagisgucci · 08/08/2018 22:53

I've had crazy dreams...

On Sunday, I dreamt that I was pregnant with four babies! 😳

I had a scan booked for 9am Monday, which confirmed only one! Lol!

ballanj · 09/08/2018 07:06

I'm with you all on the weird dreams front. A few weeks ago I dreamt I had a baby boy and when he was born had a fully man size ding-a-ling. More than bizarre 😂 and my dreams are just very odd.

I commented either on here or another thread that my sore boobs went yesterday, thinking 'yes! Symptoms calming, everything is finally settling in' but they are back with a passion this morning! Might have to go bra shopping for something incredibly unsexy at lunch 😂

TheWanderlust · 09/08/2018 07:52

My dreams were so vivid last night. But they're really jumbled. Wake up feeling shattered

HidCat · 09/08/2018 08:32

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever I gained a little weight initially then lost 6lbs out of nowhere. I've been eating a lot less than normal and been quite anxious so I think it's a combination of those. I'm sure we'll make up for it in the end though lol.

@Mamawithnumber2 yey for the docs getting that one wrong! Congratulations!

My symptoms seem to have calmed a little, waking 2-3 times a night to pee and very tired still. Boobs are less sensitive. Biggest issue for me is the constipation...
