@Rachael321 I’ve been there. I know how soul destroying this is. There are no words. You will, in time, get pregnant and it will stick. I’m just so sorry, look after yourself and take time to deal with your emotions Flowers

HidCat · 07/08/2018 17:19

@Rachael321 I'm so sorry. It's an awful thing to go through. Lots of love. xxx

BuffaloGiraffe · 07/08/2018 18:43

I’m so sorry, Rachael x

doodles1234 · 07/08/2018 19:17

According to due date calculator online I due around 23 March 19 with my first, so am 7+4 and so far have had a bit of roller coaster;

  1. Bleeding after intercourse
  2. Spotting and cramps last week, Roy said monitor and if get worse go to a&e (luckily calmed down)
  3. This last week felt like I've had a constant hangover, if ibdont eat wuthin 10mins of waking up i feel sick all day and only way to relieve is to eat or sleep.
  4. Exhausted (in fairness have had a busy few weeks of travelling In work)
  5. Today random.spotting when wiping when having a bowel movement

I literally can't wait for my first midwifes appointment to speak someone feel like I don't know whether things are normal whether they're not? Am I being paranoid or not, shoukd I take another test? Don't want to waste people times - literally not enjoying experience so far Sad

@rachel321- so Sorry to hear you're going through this hope you're doing ok x

Mum2bejac · 07/08/2018 20:04

Hi!
I am due with my first baby on 12th March 2019 - can't wait!
Hope all doing well

Mum2bejac · 07/08/2018 20:07

Rachael I'm so sorry
I joined this thread having not seen your message.
So sorry hoping you're ok

HidCat · 07/08/2018 20:38

@doodles1234 all of that sounds normal to me (spotting is most likely implantation leftovers) so I'm sure it's fine but if in doubt give your midwife a call. They're used to the anxiety we all go through and happy to answer anything.

Congratulations to all the newcomers.

BuffaloGiraffe · 07/08/2018 21:33

Well done for maintaining the list @BuffaloGiraffe !!

So many people have date twins!! Feeling a little bit lonely with my date! Ha.

cardboard33 · 08/08/2018 01:22

@rachael321 I'm really sorry. I really am. I hope you and your partner are getting all of the support you can right now, and that you have more positive news soon.

We had our early scan today and they've put my due date back by a week so it's now 27 March. I thought this could happen as I ovulate late and then have a short lutal phase, so conception happened later than with other people with my dates. Oddly annoyed though as it now means I've got to "do" week 7 again when mentally I'm now onto week 8.

TheWanderlust · 08/08/2018 04:43

I've been awake over an hour and am absolutely starving! Resisting the urge to make scrambled egg on toast as I know i wouldn't want it by the time it was cooked 🤦🏼‍♀️

Please tell me this isn't going to become a regular thing??

PurpleFlower1983 · 08/08/2018 06:13

I’m so sorry @Rachael321 Flowers x

PurpleFlower1983 · 08/08/2018 06:14

Please could you add me to the list @BuffaloGiraffe. I’m due on 1st March.

AceyMac13 · 08/08/2018 06:18

morning all! Does anyone else suffer from leg cramps at night when trying to sleep? It’s starting to drive me insane 😂 2 days until my private early scan, I’ve got no reason to think anything is wrong but my anxiety is running riot, so I’m hoping after my scan my anxiety will calm down!

@TheWanderlust I can’t take the list credit, I think it was Angel that put it all into order. I’m very lonely right at the end of the list, though I know I’ll give birth right in the middle as I’ll be opting for an elCS. Make the eggs for breakfast! We had scrambled eggs on toast for lunch yesterday, delish.

@purpleflower1983 added. @cardboard33, I’ve adjusted you on the list. Must be frustrating to be put back a week, but baby will come when it’s ready, regardless unless you’ll have a elCS.

Angelmiracle · 08/08/2018 09:06

@cardboard33 I think I'll be the same. I conceived day 21 of my cycle so come dating scan I could be moved back a week to 30th along with @BuffaloGiraffe!

Can I ask why you are opting for ELCS @BuffaloGiraffe ? After the trauma of DS birth - long labour forceps episiotomy blood transfusion I swore I'd have ELCS but oddly now im pregnant im not so sure Confused

cardboard33 · 08/08/2018 09:36

@acheymac13 mine do. I just feel like I'm going to start my period (my legs/ankles hurt then, as did my mum's) particularly when I'm trying to get to sleep. Tbh I've not slept that well since early May (probs wake up 3-4 times a night then can't get back to sleep for hours) which is primarily due to how hot it's been. The only time I've been fine is when we were on holiday and our room had AC... I slept fine then!!

@buffalogiraffe yeah, I know it will come when it's ready... I just really want to get beyond the 12 week mark and then we can start being honest with people as there's been so many situations where I've had to say we aren't pregnant/cover it up and it's just frustrating that I've got an extra week of that to go!

I've basically got all of the typical symptoms (headache, nausea, hunger, period pains/discomfort in tummy) in mild form. I wouldn't say I'm feeling ill constantly or anything just don't ever feel 100% right.

BuffaloGiraffe · 08/08/2018 10:17

Oh my, I’m feeling so queasy today, it’s horrible. I feel like I’m on a boat!

@cardboard33, that’s a very good point, it’s hard covering up, though I think if I’d had a scan I’d probably just share with those closest.

@Angelmiracle, I was in exactly your position last time, I’d had a traumatic labour and was going to opt for a elcs, but chickened out and decided to go for vaginal. Fate had other ideas, I ended up with a placental abruption at 37weeks, so was rushed into surgery. Now, having done it both ways, I’m def going for the elcs this time.

Angelmiracle · 08/08/2018 11:05

@BuffaloGiraffe that must have been terrifying for you! 3 friends had ELCS recently due to previous experiences and they would highly recommend. I will play it by ear as the pregnancy progresses and have a chat with the midwife.

myotherbagisgucci · 08/08/2018 11:18

@Angelmiracle & @BuffaloGiraffe I'm definitely with you on an ELCS. My DD's birth was traumatic, she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck as I was delivering, so ended up having forceps and episiotomy. Thankfully she was absolutely fine, but I wasn't and I don't think I could go through with that again.

SoBoredOfWaiting · 08/08/2018 13:22

@Rachael321 so so sorry to hear that, much love to you and your partner.

@cardboard33 @Angelmiracle I also got moved back about 9 days when I had my early scan, so quite usual for it to change.

Yeah I'll expect I'll be moved @SoBoredOfWaiting and you're now due my birthday!

AceyMac13 · 08/08/2018 14:05

@cardboard33 - I know the feeling, it’s awful trying to sleep in this heat let alone trying to deal with the leg cramps too! Ah I’d give anything for some AC, sounds like absolute bliss!
Excited but nervous for my early scan Friday, thankfully it’s the first appointment when they open at 10.30 so I don’t have to wait all day! Nausea has been wiping the floor with me for weeks, never felt so tired!

HidCat · 08/08/2018 15:14

@AceyMac13 I've not had a problem at night but I have them occasionally during the day. It's horrible but clears up after a little rest. I hope yours do too.

I've had my scan date through - August 30th. 3 weeks to go and can't decide if I'm excited or terrified. Something tells me it will be more of the latter nearer the time. 😬

HidCat · 08/08/2018 16:07

@AceyMac13 I just bought the new issue of Mum and Baby, saw this article and immediately though of you! Hopefully the writing isn't too small...
