Good to see that others have experienced the shaking @LostMyBaubles prob normal for your little one as @letsallhaveanap says is for hers

pennyw85 · 06/07/2018 05:43

@letsallhaveanap that's so cute!! I felt similar earlier this pregnancy and it's lovely to picture that being what caused it!

Another night and no sign of labour for me 😢

LostMyBaubles · 06/07/2018 10:47

Thank you all for the reassurance Flowers
Its easy to get so stressed when you cant actually see whats going on.
Doesn't help that there's some family members that suffer with seizures too so makes you think the worst

How is everyone getting on today

lmx0 · 06/07/2018 12:08

Im blooming starving!! Just had cereal and grapes for breakfast and i think id happily eat my way through my kitchen!!!

SiolGhoraidh · 06/07/2018 12:29

Braxton Hicks kicked in for the first time about 1 this morning. Not impressed - bloody painful!

I think the hot weather has contributed as despite drinking gallons I'm still dehydrated. Going to down some Lucozade before bed tonight along with the usual water, and see if that helps.

BrutusMcDogface · 06/07/2018 13:03

I was meant to spend the day cleaning my bedroom/organising crap but instead I have eaten and slept and nothing else. Got to go pick up the kids in just over an hour. My dp is going to be disappointed 😔

BrutusMcDogface · 06/07/2018 13:04

Siol - painful bh, hmm? Might be the start of early/slow labour, as I've had tons and they've never been painful! How many weeks are you?

lmx0 · 06/07/2018 13:31

@SiolGhoraidh hopefully the lucozade helps!!
@BrutusMcDogface your allowed to have a lazy day and rest your body needs it there is always tomorrow to do the bedroom and if he's disappointed then he needs a word with himself!!

LostMyBaubles · 06/07/2018 15:05

Imx0 ive not had cereal since 1st trimester!

Siol lucozade and lots of water or cordial and ice pops

Brutus id say relax and leave it lol

Baby has been very quite today well upto now. Was very worried, had a cold drink of lucozade, ice lolly and my dinner and got 2 lil movements after lying on my left side.

Ive just had another ice lolly and thankfully hes moving better. If he goes quite again will get checked.
When I had my last trace I had around 15 movements that I clicked (felt more but couldnt click more lol) within 10 mins. Baby is normally very active.
While writing this hes been non stop which is nice

BeardofZeus · 06/07/2018 15:18

Mine won’t stop wiggling and seems to have made it her mission to make any position of sitting uncomfortable grr!!

I too am also ravenous and also thirsty! Bought some watermelon which I am looking forward to though!!

lmx0 · 06/07/2018 15:29

@LostMyBaubles i wouldn't be a big cereal person normally at least he making up for it now!! They like to keep us on our toes don't they!!
@BeardofZeus my little miss has been the same the past few night come bedtime shes on a mission to make laying in bed awful!!

lifechangesforever · 06/07/2018 17:12

Braxton Hicks are happening pretty much every time I go from sitting to standing now. Been out shopping today and I am absolutely shattered - I had a few cramps about 15 minutes apart during today and nanna and I were starting to panic 😂 they've completely gone now though, I'm just laid on the sofa unable to move through pure tiredness lol.

lmx0 · 06/07/2018 17:17

@lifechangesforever could be your body telling you to slow down and take it easy?

LostMyBaubles · 06/07/2018 17:57

Think I am going to fo hosp
Id say ive had 1/4 movements all day compared to usual

Atm its more like hes just pushing slightly against my hand rather than proper movements

BrutusMcDogface · 06/07/2018 18:04

Oh Lost , hope all is ok. You're doing the right thing going in Flowers

skiclothes · 06/07/2018 18:05

I’m 32+6 and I want this weather to do one. My open plan office is half glass and we have no air con. Can’t wait to finish!!!

lifechangesforever · 06/07/2018 18:22

Plenty of resting going on - today was the first time this week I've left the house properly, my feet are making sure I can't really do anything.

Hope all goes OK at the hospital x

KTD27 · 06/07/2018 18:34

lost keep us updated I hope all is ok.
life my feet too! It’s ridiculous!
Lots and lots of BH here. Am trying to sit on my ball and bounce with the fan on me but it’s making my feet worse so I’m alternating between legs up and bouncing around. Look ridiculous

lmx0 · 06/07/2018 19:12

@LostMyBaubles your doing the best thing hope everything is okay and let us know!!
@skiclothes awww no way sounds awful!!
@KTD27 sometimes you hust gotta do what ever u can to get comfy!! (Or as close to comfy as you cant get!)

LostMyBaubles · 06/07/2018 21:37

Didn't end up going.
I know I should have but hes moved a lil better since so keeping a close eye on it.
Its around a 4-6 hours wait atm so much rather relax and be able to do things at home.
Had a milkshake which has prompted some movements which is good

SK166 · 06/07/2018 21:54

@lost - you keep an eye on that. Good that he’s moving after food/drink. Make sure you’re hydrated!

@KTD - I’m doing the same! Bouncing in front of fan until I’m too hot then lying down. It’s a glamorous life!

Had 41week appt and 2nd sweep today. Not much change from last week but midwife seemed positive. She said she could touch baby’s head and sweep properly and baby got properly annoyed by the sweep so she said I shouldn’t panic about induction yet. Although obviously I am panicking about induction! Booked for the end of next week and I REALLY don’t want it. Have been bouncing on the ball, went for a long walk with the dog, including power-walking up a hill, and got DH to offer his ‘services’ as well 🙈

If that lot doesn’t get this baby out then I give up!

probablyhangry · 06/07/2018 22:10

31 weeks with twins, been feeling sick all day and have a bad headache, I'm thinking it's because of the weather. I'm already feeling uncomfortable and miserable

Smellyjo · 06/07/2018 22:22

Hello, I need a wee moan, 31 wks and everything hurts, back, hips, joints at the creases at the tops of my legs...I tried to find somewhere to do a last min pregnancy massage tomorrow but no joy Sad

Lost I'm another one who's had the seizury movements - in my last pregnancy and the first time it happened I was 32 wks and it was the night before my wedding, I thought I had caused it through stress...midwives never wanted to see me as I had normal movements afterwards but it happened 3 or 4 times and freaked me out. Since DD was born she's been the most active busy child ever so I assumed it related to that somehow!

KTD27 · 07/07/2018 07:28

sk166 how are you feeling after your sweep? Any niggles?
probably ouch twins. Not surprised you’re uncomfortable. What are the plans for delivery with you?
smelly hope you’re feeling better. Epsom salt bath to ease your muscles? Just don’t do what I did last week and lock the door and then realise after a lovely cool soak that I couldn’t get out of the bath without help!! DH nearly battered down the door as I floundered like a whale on the other side. Fortunately laughing my head off at the ridiculous situation I was in so he knew it wasn’t serious but i hadn’t realised just how much of an effort it would be!!

Up early with the toddler this morning. He’s being v cute and giving my tummy lots of kisses. He’s also told his grandma he’s having a baby brother and tells us he’s having a baby sister so has covered his bases Grin

@probablyhangry oh wow twins!! Im sure your are very uncomfortable and the heat deffo doesn't help!!
@Smellyjo what a shame 😞
@KTD27awww how cute!! Well at least he wont be disappointed either way!!
