Had my baby on the 21st
The first pessary did f.a (around 11pm sunday) went in at 2cm and was still that when ever they checked
Had another pessary around 6am on the day
His heart rate was too fast, i was contracting too much and nothing was happening.
There were 5 before me to go to delivery for waters to be broken but due to hos heart rate not settling I was sent first.
In delivery contractions were very painful but not long enough so waters were broken and drip up.
Had gas and air and PCA- remi like small doses of morphine to help with pain
I kept telling mw I need to push she checked and I was only 5-6cm but do what your body needs to do. Seconds later i bled and was fully dilated.
His heart rate kept dropping so dr and senior mw came in.
Baby was in wrong position and wasn't coming down fast enough so dr was moving him from inside to get him out quickly thankfully without instruments.
He was born less than 12 hours after the second pessary
I lost around 500-600mls of blood at delivery
Had to have the contraction drip up for another 4 hours after delivery to stop/ reduce bleedimg which bloody hurt
He didnt feed much first few hours but hes makimg up for it now
