I've lost count of what number we were on, sorry.

Also there seems to be another BFP after MC thread running, but it has all different people on it so I didn't know if we should crash theirs or just have two running at once...

Thanks everyone, I know there's a long way to go but with my short cervix getting to viability was the most pressing milestone for me. Hopefully I can relax and enjoy pregnancy a little more now.

Have physio booked for tomorrow morning which will hopefully help.

dovegrey18 · 02/09/2018 10:52

Hi all,

5+2 today and I feel so very anxious. I've had symptoms of strong nausea and v sore boobs and I think I still have them although I'm totally over analysing and could be making it up. I got my BFP about 6 days before period was due and I tested because I was feeling nauseous.

Just need to get through each day and to a stage where I can have a scan and know either way. I know a scan isn't fool proof but at least at that point I will know things are either ok or not ok.

In my first miscarriage I had a Mmc and symptoms were so strong that I felt so tricked. So I know symptoms or lack of symptoms don't mean anything.

Anyone else around the same time?

Ive been referred to obstetrics and awaiting an appt. Hopefully it comes quickly

HidCat · 02/09/2018 15:21

@dovegrey18 congratulations on getting through the first hurdle. I hope your appointment comes through and you can start to get reassurance. Will you be able to have early scans?

dovegrey18 · 02/09/2018 22:49

Thanks hidcat. I did with my third pregnancy at the EPU because of the history. Not sure if they will offer any this time since my last pregnancy was successful.

I've booked a private scan for the 20th anyway when I'll be 7+6 if all goes well hopefully.

CobaltRose · 03/09/2018 11:10

I had my dating scan on Thursday! Absolutely terrified as it was at my 12 week scan last time that I was told I'd had a missed miscarriage. I was so nervous I nearly cried in the waiting room! Well....

Baby is doing just fine ❤ I'm measuring three days ahead! Seeing them wiggle around on the screen and their heart beating strongly was the best feeling in the world Grin

I'm due on the 9th of March Smile

Aww congratulations cobalt!! Did you have any early scans this time

Anxiousfeelings · 03/09/2018 22:52

Congratulations @cobalt! Hope you manage to relax a bit now. I did actually cry all through my dating scan!

I cannot believe how big I am this pregnancy - we have been away for a few weeks and seeing people today, it was clear they were quite shocked by my size. I seem to be a lot bigger than in my first pregnancy..... anyone else also have this?

Vuduvu · 05/09/2018 17:57

Good news for me today - had the dating scan and everything is going fine, baby went from being 2 days behind at 9 weeks to 4 days ahead so 13 weeks today! I can't believe this could really happen - we've never got this far before.

Congratulations @cobaltrose on your dating scan as well, and @paranormalbouquet on getting past 24 weeks!

Good luck to all the new ladies in the first trimester. It's so hard isn't it? I have my fingers crossed for you xx

Vuduvu · 05/09/2018 17:58

Btw I cried during the scan too! I think my husband was looking a bit teary eyed as well!

HidCat · 05/09/2018 18:15

@Vuduvu that's amazing news, congratulations! 🤗

NoCatsHere · 05/09/2018 19:09

Arghh how quickly things can change! I’m in hospital! I called this morning as I’ve been having light brown discharge mixed with CM since Saturday and this morning noticed a more red/black clot too when I wiped. They said I should come in and had a monitor of baby and then an internal look to see where blood was coming from. They didn’t seem worried but then the test for amniotic water came back positive so I have to stay overnight. I’ve started antibiotics in case of infection and had a steroid in my bum which really fucking hurt (the next one is at 2.30am!!). They say baby might come early, I’m only 29 weeks today, or else if I continue to lose fluid I’ll have to have baby early. I’ll know more after a scan Friday afternoon I think. Really hoping all is ok and baby stays put and there’s enough fluid in there for them not to make me have this baby early. All postive staying put baby vibes welcome. It’s also my 9th wedding anniversary today, a jacket potato in hospital is not quite what I expected for dinner! Trying to see the amusing side of things... will read back now and catch up on everyone’s news.

HidCat · 05/09/2018 20:47

@NoCatsHere I'm keeping everything crossed that it all settles and baby stays put. Try to take advantage of the rest whilst in hospital and at least everything is being looked at and any issues treated. Lots of love to you and baby.

mummyjl15 · 05/09/2018 22:12

Congratulations @CobaltRose such lovely news!!

@NoCatsHere really hope all is ok. Take care of yourself and hopefully that little baby will stay healthy and tucked up inside!! 🤞🏻 Definitely make the most of the rest

Paranormalbouquet · 06/09/2018 20:18

Hi everyone! Been really busy at work and really not sleeping due to hip pain so been too tired to do anything!

Cobalt congratulations! Lovely news!

NoCats sorry to hear that you are in hospital. Good you have steroids on board now, 29 weeks is a pretty good gestation so if baby comes all should be well fingers crossed. Hopefully baby stays in a while more and that you stay infection free.

Labmum · 07/09/2018 18:56

@NoCats hope all is well with you and baba has stayed put.

@anxious I'm feeling huge this time. I swear with my DS I wasn't this size until about 5/6 weeks later in the pregnancy. The second child spread has definitely got me!

I'm now 17+5 and over the last couple of days have felt some definite movement. I suspect an anterior placenta as everything I can feel is more to the sides. Think it'll be a while until its strong enough to feel from the outside. 3 weeks until anomaly scan. I'm full of cold and the coughing is really flaring up the nausea/gagging which had just settled down Sad.

AnneLovesGilbert · 07/09/2018 19:18

Hope they’re looking after you nocats Flowers

I’m at the same stage as cobalt and vuduvu had my scab Wednesday and 13+2 today, due 13 March.

I got through it in one piece as I was so relieved and watching the sonographer’s face like a hawk, but DH had a little tear.

Can’t believe we’ve made it this far. Something so many people take for granted but it’s 6th time lucky here so trying to balance taking it one step at a time and starting to relax just a bit Grin

HidCat · 08/09/2018 08:17

@AnneLovesGilbert that's fantastic news. Here's hoping for an easy ride from now too.

Vuduvu · 08/09/2018 08:26

@annelovesgilbert congratulations! We are due date buddies. Sounds like you’ve had an incredibly tough time with 5 losses. I’m glad things are looking promising this time!!

@hidcat thanks! Have you had your dating scan recently as well? I presume everything was ok?!

@nocatshere sounds like the most rubbish wedding anniversary for you, I’m so sorry! I hope everything is going ok.

sprinkleofsunshine · 08/09/2018 08:40

Hello,

Am I able to join? I've found out I'm pregnant in the last few days, Very early- not missed af yet due Wednesday.

Positive tests since wed gone at 9dpo getting darker. Have docs on Monday for bloods to confirm. Told dh this morning with a strong line on a frer and have docs on Monday for bloods to confirm.

I'm feeling pretty positive but I've had two early mc's/cp one around 5-6 weeks and one a few months ago when I started bleeding the same day I found out with a faint test the day before af was due.

Not sure if this is the right thread for me but was wondering if anyone had been in similar position on here and had a success story?

intelligentPutty · 09/09/2018 10:45

@AnneLovesGilbert so so happy to see you here again.

@sprinkleofsunshine congrats on the BFP. Really hope this is a sticky one for u.

@NoCatsHere how are u doing?

HidCat · 09/09/2018 13:55

@Vuduvu yes I had my dating scan just over a week ago. All looking good!

@sprinkleofsunshine I'm keeping everything crossed for you on this one. 🤞🤞🤞

sprinkleofsunshine · 09/09/2018 14:07

Thank you @HidCat & @intelligentPutty still poas every day, getting darker. Just hoping bloods come back ok now also.

@HidCat think I remember you on another thread, how far along are you? X

NoCatsHere · 09/09/2018 15:53

Hi all, thanks for all your messages. An update - scan Friday was ok, they say baby has enough fluid and measuring ok not small. The consultant can't be 100% fluid isn't coming out, even if it's slow so I have to go to the hospital every week to be checked over and another scan in 4 weeks to check fluid again. Im sure they are bing over cautious but it is nice to be looked after so we'll just in case.
The one up side to this is that I now want an elcs not try for another vbac, so it's nice to feel confident about that decision and I'm pretty sure they'll support my decision too. So anyway taking things a bit easier and hoping baby makes it to 39 weeks without anymore drama!

Miami81 · 10/09/2018 12:12

Hi ladies
Can I join, properly as opposed to just loitering? I just had my dating scan today and am 13+3 weeks pregnant, baby is clearly working hard to alleviate mommy's anxiety as that's a whole week ahead of my dates.
Anyway my history is that I had two early miscarriages in 2016 and my lovely daughter was stillborn at 27 weeks due to placenta problems in September 2017. So this is pregnancy no. 4 and I don't think nervous or anxious are quite strong enough words to describe where we are at. I recognise some names on here from the recurrent miscarriage page, but lovely to meet the rest of you.
It seems there is a little bunch of us around the same gestation so that's really good, I'm not sure if I am brave enough for the very active March thread yet so having a few of you around the same dates is really comforting. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Labmum · 10/09/2018 14:47

Welcome @AnneLovesGilbert and @Miami81. Lovely to see you both here from the TTC thread. Great to hear you're measuring ahead of dates Miami!

Welcome @sprinkles, hoping all goes well for you.

@Nocats I'm glad you're home and all is looking ok.

I'm 18weeks today. Starting to get nervous about the anomaly scan in 2 weeks time. Feeling movement most days now, nothing regular and only when sitting quiet. Still not much to be felt from the outside yet.
