I've lost count of what number we were on, sorry.

Also there seems to be another BFP after MC thread running, but it has all different people on it so I didn't know if we should crash theirs or just have two running at once...

Hurrah NoCats and Paranormal with movements. It really does help.

Kirin we must have similar due dates.

I'm 35 weeks now and feeling "too big to be allowed" - I am too big for some of my maternity wear which is very strange! Also very emotional over every little thing and finding it more difficult to cope with heat etc.

It’s mid December. Feels like I’ve been pregnant forever, although as DH said I’ve been pregnant, miscarrying or having investigations non stop since last June! Movements sporadic still, but looking forward to them getting more regular.

Kirin and Bertie I’m glad you are on the final countdown, it’s been a really long journey for you both.

Sictransitgloria · 21/07/2018 10:21

Just found out i’m 4 weeks pregnant so very very early days. Had mc in Nov 2017. Feeling nervous, hope it is a sticky one!

keeponrunning85 · 21/07/2018 14:10

Welcome six. I hope it is a sticky one too and you find lots of support here.

Great news on the movements nocats and paranormal.

kirin I can imagine the feelings of having a date for your section must be quite mixed. I really struggled to buy things to begin with. This culminated with DH marching me around John Lewis and making all the decisions because I became totally overwhelmed. I found buying some of the more toiletry based items from Boots a bit easier so maybe that could be a starting point? I've definitely got the hang of it a bit more now, although have kept all the receipts just in case.

So we have a moving date finally! Moving house on the 31st. Next growth scan and a decision about induction is on the 1st so hoping the growth spurt continues and baby can stay put a little longer.

flatwhite best of luck for tomorrow. I hope it all goes smoothly.

HidCat · 21/07/2018 16:20

@Sictransitgloria congratulations. I hope all goes well for you this time around. How are you feeling?

Sounds like good progression all around today. I've just had a lovely nap as been feeling properly drained today. I hope this tiredness passes soon!

NoCatsHere · 21/07/2018 20:56

para yes placenta is a true the front so think th,acts why it took ages to feel anything decent!

flatwhite will be thinking of you tomorrow, try not to worry about pain, it's not painful as such, it is hard work though, but with every contraction you get closer to meeting your baby. And if it becomes too much they have decent drugs for that, so ask! Everyone handles things differently so just see how you get on.
Remember you got pregnant to have a baby not to give birth so no matter what happens - if it goes to plan or not, who cares!! focus on that thought. Good luck!

kirinm · 21/07/2018 21:44

Good luck tomorrow @Flatwhite32 will be thinking of you.

Verity23 · 22/07/2018 07:49

Hi, I'd like to join in please. I'm having a difficult time and could really use some support from people who've been there. I'm 5 weeks along, after a chemical at 4+3 in September 17 and a miscarriage in Jan 18 at 12 weeks.
I've been spotting on and off for the last 5 days and it's making me really anxious. I still feel nauseous and my tests are still dark but it's really hard to keep hoping. I have a scan booked in for Friday when I'll be 6+1. Has anyone had anything like this and had a good outcome?

kirinm · 22/07/2018 08:13

@Verity23 with this pregnancy I had a heavy bleed at 5 weeks (with more at 8, 10, 12 and 16 weeks). I'm now 34 weeks and everything seems to be fine and they were unable to find a reason for the bleeding despite one of the bleeds leading to about a 2 pint loss. Fingers crossed for you.

mummyjl15 · 22/07/2018 10:21

Congratulations @Sictransitgloria hope this is a sticky one for you!

@Verity23 so sorry for your previous losses. Is there any way you can get seen earlier? Maybe try ringing to say you’re feeling anxious etc?
Unfortunately I haven’t had any positive outcomes after bleeding with each of my 3 miscarriages bit I know plenty of people who had bleeding around 4-6 weeks and still went on to have a healthy pregnancy so here’s hoping it’s the same outcome for you! 🤞🏻

kirinm · 22/07/2018 10:29

@mummyjl15 @Verity23 I don't think you'll be seen or there'll be much to see until about 6 weeks. When I bled at 5 weeks I was seen at the EPU but I think more out of pity due to my history than anything else (pregnancy 6 after 4 miscarriages and ectopic). At 5w they couldn't see much. I had another scan at 5w6d and they saw the heartbeat although warned me that they weren't expecting to see a heartbeat. I know it's hard but the chances of seeing something reassuring are likely to improve if you can wait until 6 weeks.

mummyjl15 · 22/07/2018 10:48

I agree @kirinm it’s unlikely you’ll see anything before 6 weeks on a scan but they usually check your HCG levels that’s what I had at 48 hour intervals with my first and third miscarriages if nothing shows up on the internal scan.
With my current pregnancy they couldn’t make out anything on a scan until I was 5+6 but every pregnancy is different so you never know :)

Verity23 · 22/07/2018 10:48

Thank you so much @kirinm

Verity23 · 22/07/2018 10:53

Sorry, posted too soon. It’s nice to hear a positive story.
I’ve already been to the GP and I have a scan booked in for Friday. I’m worried it will be too early to see anything but the waiting is so hard so I didn’t want to wait too long either. I’m in Aus btw so now EPU.

Flatwhite32 · 22/07/2018 15:32

Thank you so much for your lovely messages ladies. My cervix has been examined, the induction drug is now in, and I'm currently on a monitor. Scary, but exciting.

@Verity23 I had a bleed at 6 weeks on the dot with this pregnancy (enough to need a pad, then spotting afterwards). Had a scan at 6+2 and all they could see was a gestational sac and a yolk, and I was dated a week behind. We had pretty much resigned ourselves to bad news, and like you, it was hard to keep hoping. Was told to come back at 8 weeks, and much to our surprise there was a heartbeat. Today, I'm in hospital being induced! I really hope your scan has a positive outcome. Xx

NoCatsHere · 23/07/2018 10:23

Thinking of you flatwhite hope you’re doing ok.

verity I have no experience of the bleeding and then all being ok but there have been LOTS of women on here that have had that so fingers crossed for you. I’m glad you’re being seen Friday, and hopefully at 6 weeks roughly they’ll be able to tell you more. Good luck!

somethingfromnothing · 23/07/2018 11:13

I had my final reassurance scan at the early pregnancy unit this morning. I’m 10 + 2 and the baby was kicking it’s wee legs. Starting to allow myself to think that this might actually happen.

Verity I have had one successful pregnancy, 6 loses and my current pregnancy. I’ve bled in them all. This time it was put down to a small bleed below the pregnancy sac which has since disappeared. I’ve also been told my cervix is very raw and it seems to bleed if I overdo it. Hope everything is okay with you.

Verity23 · 23/07/2018 22:35

Thanks for your kind words everyone, I really appreciate it. The bleeding got a bit heavier yesterday but so far today it has stopped again. I’m still feeling quite sick so I really hope that’s a good sign.

Congratulations @flatwhite, I hope the birth has gone well for you and you’re enjoying cuddles with your baby.

I’m sorry for all your losses Somethingfromnothing, you’re very strong to be able to keep trying. What you said about your cervix is interesting, my bleeding has mostly been mixed with cm so I did think maybe it’s an issue with my cervix.

mummyjl15 · 25/07/2018 08:17

Exciting news @flatwhite hope everything has gone well! Can’t wait to hear your news!

@somethingfromnothing isn’t it amazing so see everything is ok in those early reassurance scans? I had one every 2 weeks from 6 weeks and found it so good to see things progressing ok.

I’ve got my 20 week scan next Wednesday and can’t wait!! So much movement now it’s actually waking me up at night. I know you feel movement earlier with future pregnancies but I’ve had movement since 14 weeks with this one which seems super early! With my daughter I didn’t feel anything until just before my 20 week scan.
So reassuring though.

Hope everyone is coping ok in the heatwave x

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 25/07/2018 09:28

Just come out of growth scan and she's measuring pretty much bang on dates (head is about a week behind at 26.4 when we're 28 weeks today, but should probably be thankful for that Grin). She's as awkward as ever all folded up and laying sideways but she's been a butt the entire time so nothing has changed 😄 Going back in Sept for another one

Flatwhite32 · 25/07/2018 11:21

Hi everyone! Our baby Lucy arrived on Sunday weighing 6lbs8oz after an extremely quick induction (7.5 hours from insertion of pessary to her being born!). We are now home, and so so in love with her. 11 months ago today I was being wheeled to theatre for an ERPC, and today I'm sat cuddling and feeding my 3 day old little girl. I keep crying with gratitude! Hope you are all well.
@UnicornsandRainbows1 glad the growth scan went well.

@unicorns great news on the growth scan! I’ve got my 20 week scan this afternoon and trying to calm down a bit... as usual focused on what may be wrong, rather than the possible positives!

keeponrunning85 · 25/07/2018 11:49

Congratulations flatwhite! She is beautiful.
