Irritable and emotional - is labour near? Not enjoying pregnancy

I am 38 weeks and Although I am greatful for the little life growing inside me, have not enjoyed being pregnant one bit. 4 months of constant morning sickness (nausea and vometing) followed by what I can only describe as my fanny bone being snapped in half, sleepless nights (having to wake up when i need to roll over thanks to my pelvic pain), constant heart burn and water retention has left me feeling very down

For the past two weeks I’ve had pains in my lower back and stomach. Me and DH think it’s time and then they go away...for days!! The midwife said i was in early labour a week ago. Now i feel incredibly irritated. The irritation wakes me up in the night it feels like it’s radiating out of me. I’ve been incredibly emotional today and been in tears all day. I’m incredibly tired all the time but not sleeping. Did anyone have this before they went into labour? I’m still waiting for the nesting- my bump is so heavy and hips are sore I can’t do much.

I know everyone is different but I just need someone to tell me that I feel this rotton because he’s on his way out!!!

okay my body hates me it's official. Back ache for 2 days intense pressure to the point of some one IS shoving a boiling rod up my foof pain in my lower bump but constant not contractiony lol not too mention seriously pissy like just got really offended by another person's post and was a bit mean to them 🤔🤔 need to poop but can barely go it's so frustrating!! RANT OVER I love this thread hope it keeps going for a while yet makes me feel saner that we all have crazy moments and how we all can be there for each other. When we are probably spread all over the country 😀 xxx

Ah glad to hear your not bearing yourself up carrington gotta do what ya gotta do lol you may even find it's a bit easier as it takes away a little bit of frustration and you can take your time a bit more xxx

I’ve just started to bleed. Very light spotting but I’ve had no pregnancy symptoms at all so I sort of thought it was too good to be true x

I wish it was but it’s not just spotting now, it’s very red and painful. I can’t bekieve how quick it’s come on, last time I got our bfp I had a couple of weeks before losing our baby. I’m so relieved I didn’t tell dh about the test.

inbothears - around one third of pregnancies have some bleeding. I don't want to get your hopes up unnecessarily but it might not all be over yet

@luckygolucy missed your post earlier, you could be close! 😁 I was soo pissy leading up to and deffinitely the day before the birth. It's so odd like everything you were pissed off at just goes. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 hopefully you'll be early x

Hi all. We are in a&e as the pain and bleeding got too much. They were able to confirm I am/was pregnant from bloods but the amount of blood loss along with the cramps is a sure sign I’m losing it. They’re keeping me in overnight for pain relief and will scan again next week.

God sooo much!! wish it meant I slept better but nope heat is too much so meh only a week worse case so can't really complain ... But I will lol 🤣 How you getting on xxx

Better now, he's feeding well and just starting to get into a routine. I'm breastfeeding though so it seems like the feeding is constant and it's super tiring as you only get an hour here and there. A couple of nights I've been up all night with no break 😴😴 last night was ok 🤞🏻 tonight goes well too. It's like an odd little dream for the first week and I can't stop looking at him, I'm so in love 😍

I got told to catch up on sleep and it used to annoy me as I was so uncomfortable. My bump was heavy and it was hard to turn or get comfy. My feet used to burn and I couldn't sleep without a fan at night, but now I know what they were talking about!! You get that sleep deprived you actually feel ill, like you have a temperature and start feeling dizzy. So don't be annoyed when I say NAP 😁 as much as you can x

lol I'm in bed right now. mainly cause j feel sick as a dog! (With fan on full) lol. I don't know how I will cope without sleep haha. have spoken to partner repeatedly and we have settled on FF. I love the love 😍 xxx

yep Formula mainly because I could feed DD last time and I didn't want the pressure this time to ruin anything so in hospital I will try and if I don't succeed I won't. and it means DH can share the pain I mean joy of sleepless nights haha xxx
