lmx0 · 22/07/2018 20:45

I don't really know but from what ive read on here it could just be babys head pushing down into place?

OP posts:
Noonaylor · 23/07/2018 06:35

That makes sense. My baby was 3/5 engaged at my last mw appointment (last Monday). Xx

lmx0 · 27/07/2018 20:42

Just an update ladies im booked in for induction tomorrow at 40+2 due to baby not growing very much in the last 2 weeks had a sweep today (ouch) and i am having regularish (im not really timing) tightenings with alot of back pain which started last night but they eased off so hopefully the sweep is pushing them along

Noonaylor · 27/07/2018 20:54

lmx0 · 31/07/2018 18:25

Amelia Rose born this morning at 6.51am weighing 7lb14oz via emcs i had a very long weekend and rough labour i was inducted on Saturday at 7.30pm had to wait 24 hours (which was very long!) had to wait for a bed in labour/delivery which took forever as labouring ladies got beds first so went down just before 12 on Monday had my waters broken (OUCH!) then the drip went up the start was fine i was able to breathe through each contraction even read a mag!! By 4 i was in a active labour however when examined at 8 i hadn't dilated very much 3/4cm and i was 2 when i arrived contractions where getting really unbearable at this point so i opted for remmiephantal (not sure how u spell it) which was good only thing was with the gas and air i felt out if it since my contractions where so close in the end i was really struggling so got the epidural which was also very good however i bad pressure down below (felt like i needed a massive poo) so eventually when i got checked i had went from dilating very slowly so very quickly so came to pushing but little miss would not move down so off for possible forceps delivery however when i got examined the doctor they decided it was a no go and section it was they discovered during the section missy was facing back to back and thats why she would not move! I was glad to have the section in the end as i was exhausted from 1 and a half hours of pushing please don't let my story scare any of you yes it was hard but its over and ive got my little woman 😍

@lmx0 wow what a birth! But you have her now! And as @brettgirl says beautiful name :).
I lost my plug today and am getting period pains, hopefully that is a sign of things to come! X

lmx0 · 09/08/2018 20:43

@Noonaylor thank you ohh fingers crossed things are happening for you!!!

OP posts:
Noonaylor · 09/08/2018 20:46

Thank you. They seem to come in waves, it's like a dull ache and then every 6-10 mins I have a period pain for about 20secs. So not sure whether it's braxton or whether it's the start of something! X
