@lmx0 thanks :) Yup 28th July so very close to you - three weeks left at work before using annual leave then mat leave so hopefully some constructive reading and meditation can take place then (not just Netflix and allowing hormones to add more wacky names to the list) I feel like my appetite might just be regaining some normality after 3 solid months of being ravenous and I'm also now on stretchmark watch and inspecting every evening in the mirror... the joys Wink

My DH has felt the babies heartbeat before with his hand and I felt it last night in the bath for the first time! I I have an anterior placenta so movements have been difficult to moniter, Often I'm not sure if it's gas or baby! Think she has her back to the left side frount as that's where I felt the heartbeat and its hard there. I checked with my pulse and it was a different beat. was so nice. :D

lmx0 · 23/05/2018 11:40

lmx0 · 23/05/2018 12:21

I went to Asda to get my bounty pack. Spent ages in the car trying to get the voucher to work... Which had disappeared by the time I reached the till... When they told me they were out of stock and only get sent a couple left over packs. I nearly burst into tears...I decided I wanted macdonalds chips but there was a queue so I just left I went home for lunch... I'm exhausted.

lmx0 · 24/05/2018 15:29

Awwww no way!!! You are better waiting until your at the till before you bring it up on your phone but that happened me with the Emma's dairy ones in boots i was raging!! I was very lucky i managed to get 2 bounty packs my local asda never scanned my phone however it never came with nappies so i went to tesco n got another one!!

It's a big, busy edge of town Asda... Town centre is probably a better bet. She didn't recommend coming back, emphasing how few bags they get. I didn't leave early enough for it to be empty either, macdonalds is inside just after the till but it was lunchtime so I had the healthy soup and bread option at home.

lmx0 · 24/05/2018 17:33

Far better for you and baby and im sure far nicer too!!!

Embracethechaos · 24/05/2018 18:25

lmx0 · 24/05/2018 21:46

I got a letter for an appointment for the OBST'C ANAESTHETICS clinic did any of you get this? Whats it for?

OP posts:
Noonaylor · 25/05/2018 06:44

No I haven't @lmx0. How many weeks are you again? x

Embracethechaos · 25/05/2018 06:51

@lmxo are you having a planned cesarean? Could be that or even something do do with epidurals?

lmx0 · 25/05/2018 09:58

@Noonaylor im 31 weeks
@Embracethechaos nope only thing i can think of is id have a high bmi?

OP posts:
Brettgirl · 25/05/2018 10:44

@lmxo I wonder if they are being cautious because of your BMI and want to be as planned as they can be in the event of an emergency section. That said, my BMI is 38 and I’ve not had anything, but everywhere is different. Is it worth giving them a call and asking? Or midwife might be able to tell you? Xx

lmx0 · 25/05/2018 11:28

@Brettgirl could be someone else had said thats what it could be too im at the hospital before then so ill ask when im there if it is about pain relief n that wouldnt be a bad appointment to have

www.babyboxuniversity.com/home
I dont know if any of you are interested - but this is a scheme that started in Finland and then they trialed it in Scotland. You need to watch some videos and complete a quiz (takes about, 30mins)and you get a free box, mattress, muslins and vouchers. If you live near a centre you can collect for free or you pay about 5 pounds delivery. The idea is to encourage you to learn about breastfeeding, labour, child cpr, and how to safely fit a car seat X

Lphil93 · 31/05/2018 09:55

@lmx0 did you get to the bottom of that letter sent?

I'm approaching my 20 week scan - I've felt movements so all seems good with baby. Just wondering what kind of info you guys received at your anomaly scan?

lmx0 · 31/05/2018 15:05

@Lphil93 not yet im due at the hospital the week before i go to it and ill ask then
Awww its so lovely when you feel movement 💖 the 20 week scan can be a very quite one as the person scanning you has to really focus and check everything which can be hard depending on what way the baby is laying if i remember right all they said was everything looked ok when we first went in they asked did we want to know 💖 or 💙 i was amazed at everything they were checking (they will tell you what they are looking for and at) the heart chambers and everything are so tiny but they can still see

OP posts:
Lphil93 · 01/06/2018 09:05

@lmx0 still baffled by that then 😂

Oh it's all starting to feel very real now, movements, maternity approaching, cankles and getting fatter by the day 😂

lmx0 · 01/06/2018 09:19

Yipp!! How are you feeling? Esp in the heat?

OP posts:
Lphil93 · 01/06/2018 17:23

@lmx0 I'm having an absolute nightmare of a time 😂 hours in work are worse than ever, I'm a sweaty, dizzy, mess haha. I'm carrying excess water, my feet are swollen, I've got an abscess in my mouth and now they're monitoring me for pre eclampsia. Other than that I'm glowing haha xx

lmx0 · 01/06/2018 19:22

@Lphil93 sounds like stacks of fun!!!! An abscess is the last thing you need right now!! Im struggling in work too cannot wait until i finish end of June is not coming quick enough!!!
