Hi lovelies, how is everyone?

Lphil93 · 17/06/2018 18:15

@Brettgirl all is good. I have my anomaly scan tomorrow so anxiety is kicking in now. How did everyone find theirs?

How're you?x

lmx0 · 17/06/2018 23:05

@Brettgirl im good thanks 2 weeks left of work cant wait to finish!! How are you?
@Lphil93 it was long the girl spent a good half hour scanning me (not that i minded!) dont worry if they are quite as they need to really concentrate on everything i also had to go back for a 2nd scan as baby was laying funny so the heart couldnt be checked correctly but it was all good

Update: anomaly scan couldn't have gone any better! Feeling a bit battered and bruised as she had to be quite firm as persistent as I have an awkward baby girl growing 😁😁😁

lmx0 · 18/06/2018 22:11

@lmxo I had to finish last week, got a few complications now and was advised to stop. Just trying to get everything done now, but I’m so tired all the time! How long now til your due date? Xxx

wolfiemother · 19/06/2018 08:42

Hi, can I join the thread? I'm 30 weeks with my first and am trying to navigate reusable nappies (so many options!) and cots and co-sleepers.. the nesting instinct kicked in massively as soon as I hit the third trimester!

I also had an appointment with the consultant yesterday as baby has been measuring big over the last 3 growth scans. They currently think s/he is 2kg and talked about c-section and early induction. I've been really keen to avoid both and know that estimated weights can be pretty inaccurate. Anyone else going through this?

wolfiemother · 19/06/2018 08:43

Ps I start my mat leave at the end of July and cannot wait!

lmx0 · 19/06/2018 12:08

@Brettgirl nothing to serious i hopebut its maybe cane at a gold time if your exhausted give you a chance to rest more just over 5 weeks left for me you?

@wolfiemother welcome 😊 there is soooo much out there now it really is a mind field!!

@lmxo it’s to do with my bile duct, plus babies growth has slowed down. I’ve technically got about 6 weeks left but because of the condition they have said they are going to try and get me to 37 weeks. I’m 34 weeks on Thursday, seeing the consultant on Monday and blood tests have shown the condition is getting worse so I think we may be discussing steroids for baby and early delivery... it’s all very up in the air!
Have you got everything ready? Xx

lmx0 · 19/06/2018 12:38

@Brettgirl oh goodness sounds very stressful!! Hope Monday goes well!! My pram came yesterday and babys bag is packed just need to put all my stuff into its case and check i have everything might do that today maybe? Have you much left to sort out?

OP posts:
Brettgirl · 19/06/2018 13:43

@lmxo I had such an easy start to pregnancy, think this is payback lol
We’ve still got some junk in the nursery that needs to go, then we can finish decorating. I’d like to paint the kitchen but that’s looking less and less likely lol
We are halfway through our plumbing work so that’s all good, should be finished by the end of next week and we will have hot water! Yaaay!
Got most of babies stuff sorted, but after the scan on Monday I may need to get a few tiny baby bits. Moses basket is now in place by the bed, it’s all very scary!
What pram did you go for? Xx

lmx0 · 19/06/2018 14:13

@Brettgirl ohh wow you've alot going on!!! You will be doing amazing well to get everything finished never mind the kitchen just make sure you don't over do it ive just packed my hospital bag all that needs to go into it are clothes for coming home in but ill do that when i finish work n get then washed n put in we went for the mamas & papas ocarro and absolutely love it what did you go with?

We’ve got the mothercare journey xx
