@Brettgirl those first 10 weeks where the longest of my life!!! Ohh ive heard good reports about that one!!

Eeek I’ve got a date to be induced! Just over two weeks time!

Exhausted and emotional but delighted to tell you that we welcomed in to the world our beautiful baby boy this morning. It was very eventful and finished up as an emergency section under general anaesthetic, and we are needing a little extra support tonight, but we are generally good, and I’m head over heels in love!

Feel absolutely battered!
Little man is on scbu for the night because he’s struggling with his temperature, so there is an empty cot next to me which feels wrong, but they have said he should be back with me around 7 in the morning, everything is crossed!

@Brettgirl im sure it does feel strange but at least its giving you a chance to rest a bit more before hes back down giving out his orders!! Any names?

@Noonaylor ive found nm to be playing up lately im good had a scan today as mw thought baby was breech but nope head down but shes floating about free so i dont think shes coming soon (38+1) howa re you doing i bet u cant wait to finish!!

@Lmx0 Oh the little tinker! My stand in mw said your lucky if your first one comes anytime less than 10 days.. I hope not!
I'm good thanks. At my last appointment (33wks)the mw said my baby was engaged and was 1/5 in my pelvis. And since then it really has felt like the baby is pushing on my cervix so I think it's moved further in. I'll find out at my mw appointment on Monday! I just can't believe we are all now on the final stretch! It was so cute when we were all in the early stages! I still don't think it's properly registered that I will have a baby in the not so near future! Despite it saying hi all of the time! Very very active and baby! Is yours still moving around alot? The bump doing the Mexican wave? X

@Noonaylor yes doing more waves now than ever!! Still plenty of movement but its less kicks more a bum shuffle across my stomach the midwife wrote in my note active baby as when she was scanning me she got plenty of kicks!! Noo you deffo don't want to be going just yet i know doesn't feel like all that kong ago either so it doesn't?!

@lmx0 yes a bum shuffle! Good description. It's not kicks but moving in a shuffle rolly way! Xx

Which of course can be very uncomfortable at times!!

Have you much left to sort for baby?

I think I have everything I need, but it's just not in place yet! We've done up our house and we are in the final stages - final carpets being fitted on Monday. So from then it's all go moving things to where they should be! Can't wait to put everything in the nursery! I'm making a mobile for over the cot and am going to do that when I'm on Mat leave as well as dressing and washing the baby clothes. I need to finalise my hospital bag but have the basics - I keep adding to it. How about you? X

Ohh you have loads going on atm!! Yes save something to do on mat leave!! Ive everything done think i might go through my hospital bag next week n check it n ive a few bits of baby clothes to wash that have been gave to me as presents and ill do some more batch cooking but apart from that im just waiting now

Oh yes I need to do the batch cooking too!but I think during mat leave. I'm too exhausted when I get back from work! Welldone for being so organised!

Plenty of time when your off work i only started when i went on mat leave

@lmxo thank you, I now know really what it feels like to fall in love!
We are good thank you, still lots to process after such a traumatic birth, and he’s had a few little problems, but he’s in his Moses basket next to me right now, sleeping like the most precious little angel I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait for this to happen for you too xxx
