Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

@DareToDream89 that's super! Really pleased for you, that will be a huge weight off your mind!!

LJFM2B · 09/05/2018 14:42

@DareToDream89 phew!! im half dreading telling my boss and half cant wait ... after my 3rd miscarriage he said " i think you and your husband need to get a TV" ... such a twit

WeeBeasties · 09/05/2018 14:49

It's nice to hear your bosses have been supportive. I start a new job in July and will be 12 weeks when I start. I'm really not looking forward to telling them and nees to find out at what point you have a legal obligation to inform your employer. I'd like to wait until after my probation period if possible.

Such bad timing!

Pregnantandpetrifide · 09/05/2018 14:54

Has anyone had a slight amount of pink bloody discharge? By slight I almost mean so small you can barely see it but when you wipe after loo. I'm so paranoid something is wrong but it was such a tiny amount I don't want to sound silly by phoning Dr. Xxx

laurs2309 · 09/05/2018 15:45

@WeeBeasties I don't think you have to tell them until 15 weeks before your due date (so roughly 25 weeks) but i imagine you'll be showing by then so might be difficult to keep it quiet 😊

WeeBeasties · 09/05/2018 16:28

@laurs2309 ah ok that's good, I'll be out of probation by 20 ish weeks so will endeaver to keep it hidden until then. Luckily it's summer so I can hide it under floaty tops.

DareToDream89 · 09/05/2018 18:02

So my midwife called and I don't meet the criteria for an early scan 🙁

I can pay for one privately but think it's outrageous the cost of it. Oh well guess will have to wait another 6 weeks 🙁

SophieStripe · 09/05/2018 19:20

Hi all, can I join too please? I am 5 weeks tomorrow and due January 9th (according to my app). I am SO anxious it's unreal. I spend my entire days googling and reading forums convincing myself something is going wrong. I had a MC in Nov at 11 weeks (after seeing heartbeat) and this will be our first baby. At the moment I have exhaustion and sore nipples(!) although they seem less sore today. I am also having dull aches/cramps/twinges. I'm convinced it's gone wrong already and am just waiting to start bleeding. Don't know how I am going to get through to 12 weeks - hoping that I do that is!

Chelle13 · 09/05/2018 19:46

Im due onthe 6th jan n lost my little boy at 21 weeks in november.so its so hard to not be scared but in my experience you cant control wats happening inside so wat will happen will happen.but be healthy and happy n enjoy it and hopefully everything will be perfect thats wat i keep telling myself if not you will just stress yaself out and tie yaself in knots xxxx

jellyfish2210 · 09/05/2018 19:59

Welcome to the recent joiners! We are all here to chat about stuff. Highs and lows all welcome here! So sorry to hear about previous losses!

MrsH1990 · 09/05/2018 20:42

Hi Guys,

Just found out I'm pregnant with my first! Such a shock as I am on the pill (not anymore obvs) .

Me and my husband are actually quite happy about it but we still don't believe it. From 'my dates' worked out ill be due arounf the 9th January.

Any advice would be greatly welcomed

jellyfish2210 · 10/05/2018 11:16

Welcome to the group! Congratulations! There are quite a few of us that are first timers! So exciting!

m4rdybum · 10/05/2018 11:43

Could I join? Smile 16th January for me, so currently 4+2. Very early days and honestly don't feel like it's real.

I'm doing another test on Friday as my period was due yesterday.

MrsH1990 · 10/05/2018 12:16

sailing123 · 10/05/2018 14:55

hello everyone - i am also expecting! Due date is actually 29th December but i'm sure that counts as January...!
I was using the Natural Cycles app as a contraceptive and only had one cycle before getting pregnant...oops! So it was very unplanned but we are so very happy about it! We got engaged earlier in the year and just before finding out we were having a baby we booked our wedding for May next year so our little baby will be about 4/5 months old then! It is our first baby and we are both so excited and so nervous. I can't wait to get past the 12 week mark. Excited to follow everyone's progress on this thread, yay! xx

sailing123 · 10/05/2018 14:56

p.s i have done 11 tests so far!! I have promised my fiance i will stop now...!! hahaxx

MrsH1990 · 10/05/2018 15:39

@sailing123 hahaha think 11 is enough 🤣🙈 ooo so exciting x this will be our first! Can't believe we got caught on the pill 🤣🙈 but we're happy and can't wait till 12 weeks to tell everyone x congratulations by the way! Xxxx

Frenchiemamax · 10/05/2018 15:41

Jumping on this bandwagon! I'm 4+1, due 16th Jan, can't believe it! Congratulations ladies xx

cryptonaut · 10/05/2018 16:03

I will also jump in here. I've done 7 tests over 2 days, all positive, cb digital says 1-2 weeks. Natural Cycles says 3+5, due 20th Jan. Got GP appointment in 2 days. Haven't told the hubby yet, its our first so want to do a big reveal thing (cheesy or what?!!), it's going to have be tomorrow at the latest or its to the docs on my own. I'm so excited, hasn't actually sunk in yet. Keep going back to the tests to make sure it wasn't a dream. We only started trying on my last cycle... that was quick!! haha

m4rdybum · 10/05/2018 17:40

@Frenchiemamax due date twins Grin

@cryptonaut I surprised my DH by leaving the test on his bedside table for when he woke up Smile

Frenchiemamax · 10/05/2018 18:51

@m4rdybum aaahhhh how exciting!!

Penelopepitstop2306 · 10/05/2018 18:54

Hi all, I'd like to jump in please. I'm 4+5 today with my first, due on 11th January according to my app(s). Have replaced all my cycle apps with pregnancy apps so one sort of obsessive for another now. 🙈 how is everyone doing? I'm not having a lot of symptoms just yet, generally a bit of sore boobs and a bit of a bloaty tum by the evening. So excited for the next 8 months! 😊

MrsH1990 · 10/05/2018 18:56

@Penelopepitstop2306 congratulations! I am 5 Weeks 1day I haven't had sore boobs at all just bloating a lot and once 2pm hits I'm absolutely shattered! Didn't think I'd feel the symptoms this hard this early! But excited for next 8 months too xxx
