Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

Those stats do make me feels bit more relaxed but not much ! I was nervous about miscarriage with both my previous pregnancies (both healthy boys!) I always thought I wouldn’t be nervous second time around but I was and now I’m expecting number 3 I still won’t feel happy till I have the baby safely in my arms (or at least relax a bit when I have my scan!)

Cloud9889 · 31/05/2018 15:08

Also for those without symptoms, for my first DC I had tingly nipples for just a short period then nothing and I mean absolutely nothing all pregnancy and I carried for 40+13 and he was born healthy x

Cloud9889 · 31/05/2018 15:09

For my second DC I had no early pregnancy symptons and had some nausea from day 6/7 weeks for a few weeks and that’s it. I had backache with this one and getting occasional twinges in my boobs and belly but that’s it. Talking to my friend she had absolutely no symptoms until 11 weeks where she had 1 week of sickness and that’s it and her son is fine x

Cloud9889 · 31/05/2018 15:10

Nausea at 6/7 weeks I meant

LJFM2B · 31/05/2018 15:39

@Cloud9889 good to know - thank you!! everyone's different i suppose is the truth in all this

Iswallowtoothpaste · 31/05/2018 16:35

Has anyone else found that the morning sickness is more a case of just feeling sick rather than actually being sick? I’m over 8 weeks now and can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve been sick so far but the nausea hits me like a ton of bricks sometimes.

OrangeAztec · 31/05/2018 16:40

@LJFM2B My scan is a week tomorrow so next Friday, when hopefully I'll be 8+6. Fingers crossed for yours it's such a nerve wracking time isn't it, I was sure I would be more relaxed having had an early scan but I'm worrying about everything.

@Cloud9889 that's reassuring to hear about symptoms thank you for sharing that.

This morning I felt totally normal, then had some lunch and felt wiped out and weak and laid on the sofa for an hour and a half.

Merrz · 31/05/2018 16:42

Yes me Iswallowtoothpaste I haven't actually been sick at all just feel really nauseous all the time.

RLH18 · 31/05/2018 16:45

I haven’t been sick yet @iswallowtoothpaste thankfully but I’ve come very close.
Feels like really strong symptoms for so early on

sexnotgender · 31/05/2018 16:48

I’ve only actually been sick twice but feel horribly nauseous a lot of the time.

loopdeelou · 31/05/2018 17:46

I've not actually been sick but come close. Weirdly the nausea seems to be easing off and I'm hoping my body is getting used to the hormones? Or maybe I've got better at religiously eating something every two hours which is helping to manage it. My nausea definitely peaked at 6/7 weeks which I thought was a little early. I was kind of expecting it to be worse later on. I'm now coming up to 9 weeks and although I'm thankful I'm feeling better, I am worrying a little about where it's gone... and there was me praying at 7 weeks that's the nausea would stop because I felt so awful 🤔

Merrz · 31/05/2018 18:02

I hope that's the case for me too loopdeelou i'm 7 + 1 and started to feel rubbish at 6 weeks but definitley worse the last few days. I can cope with it if I think it's only a few weeks

Iswallowtoothpaste · 31/05/2018 18:37

I’m trying not to be sick as I don’t want it to become a habit. Hard not to wretch sometimes though. Always makes me feel like not eating but that just makes it worse. Usually a bit better once I’ve had a small nibble/snack —devours huge portion of cottage pie—

LJFM2B · 01/06/2018 09:28

I think 'they' say its usually feeling nauseous more so than being sick. I get little feelings of nausea but not been sick either...

@OrangeAztec i think we feel even more connected once we see the little heart beat etc so you worry even more!! over analyse everything!! I have PCOS so knowing how far i am is tough i measured 6 days behind at the scan so i should be 8+6 today but NHS website says i should be 9+5 so im somewhere between there i believe. Bring on next weeks scans

I had another giddy spell this morning, it happened last Monday too.. light headed and dizzy - google tells me its due to increased blood flow but doesn't look like a common symptom - any one else had this?

Izniz · 01/06/2018 09:53

Hi all! Also die in January, should be towards the end of the month as Im only 5 weeks pregnant now. So excited, we’ve been trying for three years and I honestly thought it wouldn’t happen for us. But now every twinge, every ache scares the living hell out of me. Honestly considering padding myself with soft feathers and never leaving the house until the baby is safely here!

Congratulations to everyone else on this thread. It seems that we’re coming from different perspectives and situations, so more difficult for some than others - but you all seem like you’re doing really well given your circumstances!

m4rdybum · 01/06/2018 11:26

@Iswallowtoothpaste I second the nausea thing. Only been sick twice so far but I have constant, almost unbearable, nausea from when I wake up until about 7pm. Thankfully, I've been getting a break just before bed.

I think I feel ten times worse because I have to sit at my desk all day and not say anything and try to avoid disgusting office lunch smells.

Anyone struggling with the constant flow of saliva? Feel like a drooling dog half the time. My app tells me it's to do with hormones.

jeanzbeanz · 01/06/2018 11:49

I got my BFP this morning and think I am due end of Jan or maybe early Feb. Can't quite believe it's true, will test again tomorrow morning...

We've been trying to get pregnant for a while, but still don't feel prepared for this!! What do I do now? Book a Dr appt?

LJFM2B · 01/06/2018 12:06

@Izniz @jeanzbeanz so pleased for you both!!! congratulations!! and @Izniz padding yourself in feathers and staying home seems like a great option!!

@jeanzbeanz it depends on where you are, my area you have to self refer, but call your doctors or pop in and tell the receptionist and she will let you know what to do next!! :) nice to hear a success story :)

Miffy201 · 01/06/2018 13:30

To all those like me who has very few symptoms/felt a loss of symptoms- I had my scan today at 6w+5 and everything was fine! We heard the heartbeat which was surreal, and the size was bang on 6w+5. Very relieved and keeping everything crossed it continues Smile

jeanzbeanz · 01/06/2018 14:09

I'd love to get an early scan just to reassure myself - how early can I get one does anyone know?

LJFM2B · 01/06/2018 14:38

@Miffy201 amazing SO pleased for you!!!!!! its the most amazing thing isnt it :)

purplesmiler · 01/06/2018 14:41

congratulations @jeanzbeanz. I am under the early pregnancy unit due to some bleeding so have had reassurance scans on the nhs earlier than usual (Im only 5w4d myself so very early).

You can book an early private scan they vary in prices depending on your area and are from 6 weeks plus.

rainylake · 01/06/2018 14:43

@Miffy201 that's wonderful! Must be a big relief. Hopefully you can start to relax a bit now.

jeanzbeanz · 01/06/2018 15:06

Thanks @purplesmiler I will do some research on what's available in my area. Can't wait to announce the news publicly but don't want to do that until I'm sure it's viable!

Kocerhan3 · 01/06/2018 15:39

Just booked in a early scan! For the 13th so should be 7+4 !! How's everyone getting on with their scans? I'm so nervous
