Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

@byanyothernamerose i think Hollie Willoughbys books good if your looking for recommendations!!

Wowthisisreal · 25/05/2018 10:10

Symptoms for me include lack of appetite and tiredness. Honestly in the afternoon it feels like I am in a Disney movie and someone has just blown sleeping powder into my face. Around 1:30 / 2 is when it starts. Super vivid dreams too!

My boobs are tender but just feel so FULL. Last week I was peeing all the time but this seems to have eased off a little.

Super emotional.

It kind of hit me yesterday the magnitude of it all. Giving up my job, body changing, relationship with Hubby changing, friendships changing. Does anyone feel like this?

5 weeks today!

Wowthisisreal · 25/05/2018 10:11

I'm not sleeping in the afternoon I should add - vivid dreams are at night!

Kizykicks · 25/05/2018 10:57

@Wowthisisreal similar here!
I woke up at 5am so so hungry too. I'm so hungry all the time!

My dreams are normal now but those first weeks I thought I was brewing a psychopath with the dreams I was having.
I am so tired. I can't make it past 9pm, napping on the sofa when watching telly.

Boobs some days ache so bad and others like today just normal. Cramps and shooting pains every so often but The last two days I'm feeling soooo sick!

I hear you about it the life changes. We got pregnant on our honeymoon so all quite sudden! We travel a lot in general and we both travel abroad for work, plus we're very social and active. BUT this is the next chapter and I think when you have a child the changes are good, new adventures and love like you've never known

Keiki · 25/05/2018 11:05

@byanyothernamerose aww an early scan will be nice! I'm going to try and hold out for the 12 week one, but I'm considering getting a private one later on so that DC1 can see. Not decided yet. Going to wait a week or two before I call the docs/midwife too and find out what the process is.

@wowthisisreal oh yes emotional. I cried when Postman Pat delivered his parcel on time last week. There is no hope for me!

Wowthisisreal · 25/05/2018 11:27

@Keiki I got emotional last night with Hubby I vaguely remember telling him I won't be fun any more and he was like "what the...!?" 😂

Don't get me wrong I am so excited and so in love already with this baby but at least 3 times a day I think what the hell have we done!! 😝 and it's only been a week!

Works going really well for me at the moment so that's a worry and we need to move house which is a stress. But I believe in everything happens for a reason so have to trust in it all!

byanyothernamerose · 25/05/2018 12:12

@LJFM2B thank you for the book recommendation!! I will have to check it out!

@Keiki I think I might fly back to London for my 12 week maybe...but the birth will most likely be abroad where we usually live...trying to get my head around just being pregnant, never mind juggling living in 3 different countries!!

I've had a lot of nausea but not awful...super tired but not too emotional...yet!!

Jebbs · 25/05/2018 12:39

@byanyothernamerose What country do you usually live in, if it's not too indescreet a question? I'm going to be dealing with the system in France for all this and it's nice to know I'm not the only one abroad.

byanyothernamerose · 25/05/2018 14:02

@Jebbs I am in the U.K. at the moment but we normally live in Prague (I'm British/Irish and my other half is Czech)...we will be spending the next few months in Budapest after the U.K. though...so how I'm going to organise my care who knows?? Not stressing me out just yet as still early days but I know that it will...I'm so used to the NHS!! How far along are you?

Jebbs · 25/05/2018 14:20

@byanyothernamerose Wow, that's complicated! Ditto to being used to the NHS. I get the impression it's so much more medical over here (when I went to the doc she didn't tell me to go with a midwife but with a gynacologist Hmm). I'd have thought they'd just put you with the normal care that women have over there. I guess the biggest thing will be getting the documents transered when you move back (unless I'm missreading and you won't be back in the UK for the birth).
I'm 7+3 - What about you?

byanyothernamerose · 25/05/2018 14:45

@Jebbs I'm 4+3 so far so I have a while still!! We are going to go private whatever country we are in so hopefully we can get the services to communicate with each other!! I think it is just getting used to the fact that they way things are done in the U.K. just won't be the same...I have found a Canadian clinic in Prague that I like so far from what I have read online so fingers crossed!! Maybe there is something similar in France?

PumpkinPatch000 · 25/05/2018 15:48

I'm excited about getting some books too. I keep thinking about it but i'm going to wait a couple more weeks I think. For now, i've downloaded a few apps which have some interesting information.

Does anyone else have a due date of 20th Jan? x

Cloud9889 · 25/05/2018 17:39

Hello can I join? Due 29th jan if dates correct. Only just got my bfp today though on Clearblue digi so excited x

blueavatar · 25/05/2018 19:51

Hey I'm due on the 23rd Jan with my 3rd hopefully.
I have Dd1 who is 14
And DS2 who is 10

NEW RELATIONSHIP - partner has none
And after a MC in December hopefully this will be our rainbow.

Gldnmamax · 25/05/2018 20:09

Congrats @blueavatar & @Cloud9889 😘

socktastic · 25/05/2018 20:52

@Wowthisisreal I've been having the vivid dreams too. Like scarily vivid. Last night i woke up and bollocked dh for not landing the plane properly. I was so angry!

I think I frightened him a bit.

Wowthisisreal · 25/05/2018 21:33

@socktastic brilliant! Apparently last night I was crying about snakes - and I remember the dream - I was on a float on a river and they were everywhere. The night before I apparently started complaining about the cat throwing things at me. And before I found out I was pregnant I had a few dreams where I was finding out!

Weird isn't it?!

Gldnmamax · 25/05/2018 21:41

Has anyone been feeling extra sweaty? I have been sweating like a pig all day and most of it was just from walking Blush

Cloud9889 · 25/05/2018 22:20

Hi. Thanks for congrats. I'm trying not to get too excited though as I am very early on and know so many people who have had losses. This is my 3rd baby. I have two DS aged 4 and 2. If all goes well this baby will be born a few days after my DS2 turns 3 so I plan to make use of his free nursery hours somewhat!

I don't have sweats but have lower back ache a lot. My boobs also feel. Bit achey.
I have felt different with all 3 pregnancies so far! I expected my second pregnancy to be similar to first but it really wasn't. My first I had tingly nipples but no nausea at all. My second I had just nausea from around 6-10 weeks and that was it

rainylake · 25/05/2018 23:12

Hi, can I join? Due on 28th or 29th Jan (depending which site I look at). All being well this will be my second- we have a DD of 3.5. It took us 2 years to conceive her and after another 2 years without success we ended up having ivf for this pregnancy, so I'm a bit nervous and not letting myself get too excited yet.

socktastic · 26/05/2018 07:13

Hey @rainylake we have same due date! I'm also different on different sites. How are you coping so far?

PumpkinPatch000 · 26/05/2018 07:19

@socktastic I've been having the weirdest dreams too, bizarre isn't it?

MrsH1990 · 26/05/2018 07:49

I have been debating booking an early/private scan for a while but after having a dream we were having quads Shock My DH was like I no were not having quads but we are going for a private scan. So I have private scan booked for this morning 🙈 so nervous! I am 7 Weeks+4 due 8th Jan! I know it's early to have a scan but I'm so excited!!! Just so nervous though 🙈 really hope they see something! Definitely don't want an internal too 🙈😩 xxx

byanyothernamerose · 26/05/2018 08:32

@MrsH1990 such good luck meeting your little bean today...so exciting!! 😁

MrsH1990 · 26/05/2018 08:46
