Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

Hey,

I would like to join too! recently found out I’m pregnant and due 25th Jan :-)

Wowthisisreal · 24/05/2018 19:21

@Netka30 my last period also started on 20th April - but my due date has been calculated as 25th Jan!

@SamSmithYawnsWhenHeSings I tried to book a Dr appointment but I was told I only need to see the doctor if I want to 'discuss Options" and if I don't need to do that then I just need to see the midwife at 8 weeks!! Little stressful but looking online it needs to be the norm / people say that going to the doctor just delays getting to see the midwife and I just want that scan on time! X

Wowthisisreal · 24/05/2018 19:22

@Gldnmamax I'm due 25th too!

Netka30 · 24/05/2018 19:26

@wowthisisreal I don’t know my due date as I haven’t seen gp or midwife yet. So there is a chance we be due same day 😊

Do you book midwife yourself or through gp?

Gldnmamax · 24/05/2018 19:27

@Wowthisisreal aw yay, nice to have a due date buddy Smile
Will this be your first?

Wowthisisreal · 24/05/2018 19:50

@Netka30 I called Dr and just asked what I need to do - they booked the midwife for me 😊

Wowthisisreal · 24/05/2018 19:50

@Gldnmamax yes! Our first 😊 you?

Gldnmamax · 24/05/2018 19:56

@Wowthisisreal aww lovely! This will be my second

KimBeau · 24/05/2018 19:57

Hi everyone. Whew I've been struggling this week (now 8 weeks). Still feeling very lucky not to be suffering any nausea and even my nipples and bloating have calmed down but I am SO tired. I thought I'd slept well but I woke up exhausted. I think it's all because I've had a cold and I'm struggling to shake it off.

How are you all doing? Looking forward to the (UK) bank holiday? I'm practically counting down the hours til our early scan on Monday, really want the reassurance now.

Cariadxx · 24/05/2018 20:00

Hi all I find out yesterday... going by dates I'm due the very end of January. It hasn't really sunk in yet. We only dtd ONCE that month for various reasons. Haven't even told dh yet. I think when I do it'll be real but currently I'm absolutely terrified.

Starsong82 · 24/05/2018 20:19

Hello ladies, nervously hopping over here from the may bus.

@Firsttimemum1829 it sounds like we're in similar circumstances, I'm also 36, overweight and this is my first pregnancy.

OH and I are so excited but I'm also Incredibly nervous, this was our first month trying and I'm finding it hard to believe our luck and keep waiting for something to go horribly wrong.

Estimated due date is 13th Jan, symptom wise I've just been having some nausea, cramping and incredibly sore nipples! I've booked an early scan for this weekend at 7 weeks to try to ease some of my anxiety so fingers crossed.

Lavendersblue42 · 24/05/2018 20:26

Turns out my last af was not af after all! Joining you at 6 weeks gone, not called Dr yet as still taking the exiting news in Grin

Firsttimemum1829 · 24/05/2018 20:35

starsong82 how funny, so similar then. Think my due date is around 6th Jan. Good Luck with your early scan x

Kizykicks · 25/05/2018 06:47

@Wowthisisreal @LJFM2B told them! In the card we signed it from us and your grandchild - they read the card together and paused, they didn't know what they had read and then my mum screamed and cried! She didn't believe me for a while haha. My brothers were emotional too, it was a lovely moment. Hubbys family tonight!

@cryptonaut thank you, I should get the test results back this afternoon.
I'm already researching what these antibiotics can treat haha.
I work in events and found out last night we've all got free tickets to radio 1s big weekend and I've said I can't go! Gutted but they will know somethings up if I all of sudden spring an illness on that means I can't drink

@m4rdybum oh gosh haha! Women's problems.., the best way to stop a guy asking questions! Well the day before we told my parents my mum said 'any baby news yet?' And my hubbys mum was planning some party and said 'unless she's pregnant?'... FYI we weren't trying so no idea why they guessed! We had to lie to them. A mothers instinct, sometimes they just know

@Netka30 Congratulations! I'm due 22nd Jan. it's a worrying time for us all but the main thing is every pregnancy is different. One girl I know bled heavily thought her pregnancy and had a healthy baby! Spotting can be normal, so are pains, so are no symptoms! I'd go and get a clear blue that tells you how many weeks. It's very accurate and will put your mind at ease. Good luck

socktastic · 25/05/2018 06:47

I told my boss yesterday. Really didn't want to this room but we have scarlet fever going round school so had to say if it gets to a certain level then I can't be there. Also said to my mum and dad - as in please don't go on holiday in January.. .. But that's all I'm going to tell for now. My 12 week scan will be during the summer holidays so I can tell colleague when I'm back in August.

No symptoms yet, except from tender boobs and the odd nipping/shooting pains here and there. So I still don't believe it. Will probably keep on testing until I start to feel crap!

In saying this, I'm only at 4w+4 so it's still mega early. What symptoms are everyone else experiencing?

Gldnmamax · 25/05/2018 07:29

@socktastic I had to tell my boss too, especially since in my last pregnancy I suffered from hyperemesis - and I'm worried it's going to happen again

Only symptoms I'm experiencing at the moment are, extreme tiredness and no appetite :( yourselves?

sexnotgender · 25/05/2018 07:43

I had to tell my boss too as I thought I was going to pass out at work!

Keiki · 25/05/2018 08:12

Hopping over from the May bus too. BFP this morning, AF 24th April puts my due date at 29th January. DC1 was due on 30th January and came on 27th January. Apparently I can only conceive in May (DC1 unplanned, DC2 5 cycles)! So many emotions. Ridiculously excited, and worried about changing DC1's world and overshadowing their birthday with DC2. I've been feeling nauseous for the last week already and have massive, sore boobs, same as DC1. DP also spontaneously decided to go away for a couple of days last night and left at half 4 this morning so doesn't know yet.

socktastic · 25/05/2018 08:32

@keiki congrats! How old is dc1? My wee boy will be 2.5 when this one rocks up. He's gonna hate It!

byanyothernamerose · 25/05/2018 08:48

@Keiki I am due on the 30th of Jan as my last AF started on April 25!! It would be lovely to keep in touch as we are the same...😊

LJFM2B · 25/05/2018 08:50

@Kizykicks Amazing - glad you got to tell them the way you wanted, and you get to do it all again tonight!!

To all those asking about symptons:
When i was 4 weeks i just had sore boobs and a little tiered, now im 7+6 and im tiered all the time (10hrs sleep each night and still sleeping on the train), had on and off nausea and not being able to finish my dinner (i love food so really strange), and extreme bloat - cant do up trousers so using the hairband trick.

Jebbs · 25/05/2018 08:55

I told my boss last week too - she'd mentioned to the whole team about being in the process of sorting out recruitment for next year to make sure we have enough people for the work expected. I'm detatched from my team in another group and there's no-one within the team who would be able to cover so figured it'd be better this way.

LJFM2B · 25/05/2018 08:55

I have a scan at 9+3 and i genuinely can not wait... i feel like every day is going slow and my countdown calendar is reminding me each day :)

DH was cute this morning, he said he saw in the paper about ALdi and Lidles nappys winning awards - and cut the column out for us! he also said he wants to book to the baby show in October once we have our next scan! And then he kissed my belly!

Because of our 3 MCs previously we have both been very cautious about getting too excited this time around but i think weve come to the point were we cant help it :).. its really lovely and feeling positive

Keiki · 25/05/2018 09:33

socktastic DC1 will be 4ish, depending on whether it comes before or after their birthday.

byanyothernamerose sure! Will this be your first?

byanyothernamerose · 25/05/2018 09:45

@Keiki it is my first!! So I am gathering as much info as i can, have read two books already etc etc..my husband and I travel all the time with work and are due to spend 3 months abroad when I am about 8 weeks so I am going for an early scan before I leave the U.K...
