Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

Hi all,
I'm new in this thread, I am 7 weeks today (due 8 january), pregnant with my first child, so everything is pretty new to me (also because I live in Uk for 2 years now but don't know anything about the NHS, I was very surprised that the first scan is at 12 weeks!.) I have just few symptons: my breast hurt so much! but luckily no nausea yet , I just have a problem with my blood pressure, 80-40 so I feel very tired.
BTW I hope to know you better, learn a lot and share with you all the beautiful moments that are coming :)

MrsH1990 · 23/05/2018 06:54

@valladebby same due date as me :) 🙈 good luck and congratulations xx

DareToDream89 · 23/05/2018 07:15

Hi all how is everyone doing?

I'm 8 weeks today!!

I have my first MW appointment on Friday and it can't come soon enough!! I feel absolutely horrendous at the moment. I have no energy at all and feel like Ive been hit by a bus!! Had to take yesterday and today off work as I just don't have the energy to get up.

DH thinks I might have anemia but guess will have to wait and see what MW says and what bloods show. The thing that is annoying is that I'm sleeping so much I don't know why I'm still tired and I'm eating plenty off food and drinking lots of water, I just feel like I could sleep for the next 7months at the moment!!

Sorry for long rant xxx

littleemma1 · 23/05/2018 07:23

@sexnotgender and @socktastic I’ve just done another two as it still doesn’t feel real! I’m only 5 weeks today so maybe that’s why 🤣

littleemma1 · 23/05/2018 07:25

Oh no @DareToDream89!! I’m hoping my tiredness gets better as I genuinely fell asleep at my desk yesterday when nearly everyone else was in a meeting 🙄 woops! I’m gonna ask to be checked for anemia when my bloods are done but I have to wait til 25th June!!

sexnotgender · 23/05/2018 07:42

I’m slightly older too at 36, this is my second but my first is 14! Little bit of a gap...

littleemma1 · 23/05/2018 08:06

Literally minutes after posting that last comment I went to the loo and had brown discharge when wiping after a big poo (sorry, TMI!) and REALLY trying hard not to stress and worry as everywhere on google says brown discharge is normal and OK, it’s red/pink you need to worry about. Has anyone else had any “spotting” yet?

LJFM2B · 23/05/2018 08:55

@littleemma1 i had some very light pink discharge last Thursday and have had a scan since and all ok heard the heart beat :)

No cramping and was only a little that day

i think best to call MW and she should put your mind at ease, or go to GP and get a referral for early scan!! its such a worrying time they are usually quite helpful. hope everythings ok

LJFM2B · 23/05/2018 08:57

Has anybody experienced being light headed, dizzy and shaky?

loopdeelou · 23/05/2018 09:40

@DareToDream89 have you ever had your thyroid function checked?

KimBeau · 23/05/2018 09:44

I'm 8 weeks today, too, @DareToDream89! I have low energy as well but it's been made worse the last five days because I've had a cold. I've found I'm usually tired every other day and yeah, when it hits I am totally wiped out and need to rest or nap. I have still had the energy for walks and a bit of sport, though, so if you're worried I'd raise it with your GP, no harm to check it out.

sexnotgender · 23/05/2018 10:45

@LJFM2B I’ve been light headed and dizzy. No shaking though. I’m 5w+2.

Jebbs · 23/05/2018 11:00

@valladebby @MrsH1990 I have the same due date as you too (kinda.... I'm living abroad so the UK sites give me the same date as you but French sites put me a week later)

DareToDream89 · 23/05/2018 11:39

@loopdeelou no I haven't.

I'm hoping it passes after 12 weeks. I don't get paid for sick days from work so I can't afford to not be in xx

loopdeelou · 23/05/2018 11:44

@DareToDream89 I'm really feeling awful and exhausted myself but have an underactive thyroid which can get worse in pregnancy and make the exhaustion worse. I get this checked via blood test when I see the midwife but don't know if this is something you could have checked if it's not anaemia. I hope it passes too. Am struggling to do anything at work! Feel like I'm just waiting for each day to pass and wishing time away in the hope that I feel better soon.

LJFM2B · 23/05/2018 12:16

@sexnotgender iv read its all normal and just to do with extra blood flow or low iron ... its just happened this morning and still dont fell 100% so im going to keep an eye on it ... reassuring that im not the only one though :)

Merrz · 23/05/2018 13:02

Glad it's not just me who's exhausted then! I'm 6 weeks, still managing normal daily routine but feel like i could lie down and fall sound asleep at any point in the day, finding afternoons particularly hard going. I hope this doesn't last the entire pregnancy

m4rdybum · 23/05/2018 13:05

I have eaten none stop this morning. It's then only thing that's kept me feel in relatively normal. Sickness feeling isn't too bad but was like a big wave when I woke up.

We're telling our parents on Tuesday & I've been trying to think of sneaky ways to announce it. DH thought he could casually just say "oh by the way, what do you prefer, grandma or nana?" Grin

lolacola13 · 23/05/2018 13:41

Hey guys I'm 4 weeks several tests last few days and Cb digi confirmed. Feeling stretchy crampy pains and Cannot stop eating in the afternoon then it calms down lol xoxox

jellyfish2210 · 23/05/2018 13:47

@m4rdybum that was how we told my FIL. He was like "you're not? Are you?"

We told MIL by getting a jumper for our cat that said "I'm going to be a big sister". My MIL loves our cat so it was a good way to tell her.

For my parents I just blurted it out!

Wowthisisreal · 23/05/2018 13:50

@LJFM2B sudden moments of that but nothing long lasting. My head is pounding today.

I have no appetite in the morning AT ALL. Haven't eaten breakfast since Friday. Not bothered about eating in general actually but when I sit down to do so it's gone in seconds. Does anyone else have this? I'm 4+5

LJFM2B · 23/05/2018 13:57

I really want to eat healthy but all i really want is beige food!! its only been the past 3 days but i had sweet potato at lunch and ate it so so so slowly because it was making me gag . (no shops local to my work so i have to eat what ever i bring in)

Monday i had toast at 19.30 and went straight to bed after Confused

@m4rdybum announcements are lovely, i didn't do anything fancy this time because of previous MCs but 1st time i said i wanted a new family photo, then pressed record and announced it so i got all the reactions on film!! was great memory xxx

NoNoCharlieRascal · 23/05/2018 16:45

My trust doesn't let you self refer so had to pop to the drs today. He was already trying to push me into a c-section as I tore badly last time. I fear it's going to be a fight to have a vb and a bigger on as I want a hb this time.

On the bright side I have my exemption forms to send off. Just in time too, as my other one is about to run out Grin

Pecan05 · 23/05/2018 17:32

I just had a positive result on Sunday, so I'm due roundabout the 20th Jan 😊

socktastic · 23/05/2018 20:31

@littleemma1 I've had loads of spotting. Also cramping a bit too. I'm not sure if I did last time too but I'm a bit worried. I've done at least 2 years each day since Saturday just to check!
