Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

Hi all

Hope everyone is doing ok.

I'm really struggling, I'm 7 weeks today and just feel awful. I've got stomach ache and headache and feel so emotional it's ridiculous. I'm so terrified of losing this baby but I just don't feel right! Can't stop worrying.

Any advise on what to do? Xx

gemsparkle84 · 16/05/2018 13:14

Hi @DareToDream89 is it your first baby? I'm pregnant with number 2. Unfortunately how you're feeling sounds perfectly normal and how I felt for around the entire 1st trimester Smile hopefully your pregnancy is going well. Plenty of fluids and if you can take your self out for a walk that can help.

DareToDream89 · 16/05/2018 13:16

Hi @gemsparkle84 this is my 2nd pregnancy, my first one ended with a MC at 11weeks in Nov 17. I know I shouldn't be complaining as I wanted this so much but I'm just so scared that it's going to happen again xx

m4rdybum · 16/05/2018 13:18

Welcome to the thread @DareToDream89 Smile

It's my first as well and Honestly, the only advice people can really give in these early stages is don't worry, and look after yourself.

I'm 5 + 2 and I think today is the first day I've started feeling properly nauseous. And I'm absolutely knackered.

MrsXx4 · 16/05/2018 13:18

Nausea has set in for me today big time and I cant seem to brush my teeth without gagging for the past 2 days! I haven't actually been sick but I feel like it is right there! I am 6+2 today. I had an appointment with my GP on Monday and am booked in for my first midwife appointment on the 7th June (it should have been a week earlier but I am on holiday). I think that will just be form filling though.

I have still been doing the deed with DH up to this point although with this nausea I think I will opt for celibacy!

m4rdybum · 16/05/2018 13:18

Sorry, cross post!

Sorry to hear of your loss @DareToDream89 Flowers

gemsparkle84 · 16/05/2018 13:21

@DareToDream89 sorry to hear that.

In that case plenty of fluids, lovely food, and something that you really enjoy every day Smile look after yourself xx

DareToDream89 · 16/05/2018 13:26

Just to clarify I'm still pregnant- 7 weeks today.

I'm just worried incase i MC again x

purplesmiler · 16/05/2018 13:31

@DareToDream89 I can relate to how you are feeling as my first pregnancy resulted in a MC at just over 10 weeks back in 2016. It has taken us since then to fall pregnant again and I get so scared too but try to keep positive. We are considering an early scan but would like to wait a couple of weeks more for reassurance.

DareToDream89 · 16/05/2018 13:34

@purplesmiler how far are you?

purplesmiler · 16/05/2018 13:39

@DareToDream89 5 +6 at the moment.

Addictedtoapples · 16/05/2018 13:39

Yes I am due 11th January baby no 4.

gemsparkle84 · 16/05/2018 14:20

@DareToDream89 sorry hun yes I realised you are still pregnant and I hope it stays that way. I'm sorry to hear about your previous miscarriage. Xx

DareToDream89 · 16/05/2018 16:19

That's ok @gemsparkle84 I was getting confused with all the messages pinging up!! Just at drs as midwife wants me to go for a scan to rule anything out. Xx

ohhellojo · 16/05/2018 16:36

@crytonaut I have that book and I find it absolutely spot on for info - I’m 7 weeks today and so irritable and teary which is what it says is normal for this time. Reassures me no end! I read a negative review of it on Amazon before we bought it about it being really heavy 😂 as in, physical weight. What a thing to review when it’s like a chuffing pregnancy manual/bible 🙄😂

sailing123 · 16/05/2018 16:48

hi ladies, just came on to have a moan, i am 7+5 today and literally cant get over how exhausted i am! i feel shaky and queasy the entire time (sort of like when you dont eat for hours and then are suddenly starving) but im eating normally! So anxious to get to the 12 weeks, have my booking appointment next week which will hopefully make it feel more real. Its such an odd time isnt it feeling so excited but just so anxious that something might go wrong. Hope everyone's day is nice so far! xx

sexnotgender · 16/05/2018 17:17

Ended up telling my manager at work today, hadn’t planned to but climbed 4 flights of stairs after lunch and came over all dizzy!

cryptonaut · 16/05/2018 17:24

@ohhellojo it only arrived on Monday so haven't even got past the first chapter yet. But yes I also read a review that it's heavy but my thought was "what do you expect? There's gotta be at least a page per day and there's a hell of a lot of days in 9 months!" Lol also finding it really useful already Smile

SecretStash · 16/05/2018 17:29

Hi @DareToDream89, as you know I’m in a similar position to you. I went for an NHS early scan today, there was a tiny baby in there with a little heartbeat, it was even moving around. It has reassured me, so I’m glad that your MW is suggesting a scan for you.

I’m 8 werks, so no longer Due in Jan!

DareToDream89 · 16/05/2018 17:55

@SecretStash so we are no longer bump buddies? 🙁 what's your new due date? I'm going for a scan tomorrow of fingers crossed all ok xx

sexnotgender · 16/05/2018 17:58

Used up my last clear blue digital test just for fun!
Definitely still pregnant Wink
Weeks have moved from 1-2 to 2-3 which is about right as I’m 4+2. I know the weeks isn’t totally accurate but it’s in line with my calculations.

SecretStash · 16/05/2018 18:24

No, we’re still bump buddies @DaretoDream89, I always go overdue!

I think my due date is 27th December.

SecretStash · 16/05/2018 18:24

Oh and good luck tomorrow! What time is the scan?

DareToDream89 · 16/05/2018 18:58

@SecretStash scan is between 11-1pm I have to be at hospital for 11 and then I get called in when they have a space xx

SecretStash · 16/05/2018 19:34

Best of luck!
I have my lunch break about 1pm so I will try and come online and look out for your update.
