Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

Thinking of you @pearcumble take care

bakingdemon · 15/05/2018 15:24

Joining you all! NHS calculator says I'm due 1st Jan! Went to the doctor to get myself into the system (and got Healthy Start vitamin prescription) but haven't heard anything further from them re booking next appointments - do I need to chase?

purplesmiler · 15/05/2018 15:45

@bakingdemon I was told to expect booking in appointment around 8 weeks via a letter

Upsydasiy · 15/05/2018 16:18

@pearcrumble I’m so sorry. Sending you hugs 🤗 thinking of you 💐

sexnotgender · 15/05/2018 16:47

Anyone else feeling nauseous in the evening? Last 2 days I’ve felt fine all then come about 4.30 I feel really sick.

loopdeelou · 15/05/2018 18:17

So sorry to read your post this evening @Pearcrumble. Thinking of you.

purplesmiler · 15/05/2018 18:28

@sexnotgender I started feeling sick about 4ish today along with a little dizzy. Just seeing if a snack will help.

m4rdybum · 15/05/2018 18:59

@bakingdemon- I think it depends on your NHS Trust. We have a midwife based in our doctors surgery, who was happy to see me for my booking in appointment from 6 weeks. I've booked in for 8 weeks and am now ridiculously impatient.

@sexnotgender I think my brain is playing tricks on me when it comes to nausea. I'm over thinking things too much, and have forgotten what I felt like not pregnant!

Honestly, time is going so slow - I just want to have the scan Confused

helloworld88 · 15/05/2018 19:49

I've got my first appointment next week when il be nearly 6 weeks. Midwife just said she'd rather see me earlier rather than later so it frees up appointments for those who wait a while to be seen!

bakingdemon · 15/05/2018 22:17

Thanks @m4rdybum - I almost don't believe it's happening (I have minimal side effects so far - need to pee a lot, have tender boobs and am v hungry) so feel like I need the doctor to confirm again that yes I really am pregnant!

purplesmiler · 16/05/2018 08:01

Morning all.

Had a rubbish nights sleep, for some reason since i started feeling icky yesterday I've had diarrhoea as well as feeling sicky. Hope it's nothing to worry about.

helbel42 · 16/05/2018 08:53

So very sorry to hear your sad news @Pearcrumble x

helbel42 · 16/05/2018 08:59

I'm not having a great time of it but clinging to the fact that the symptoms are all a good sign and reminding myself of how lucky I am. I'm 7 +1 today and on the last full day of a two week holiday that I've felt sick pretty much all the way through. It's 11am here and I've still not managed to crawl from bed to sun-lounger. Upset stomach is a brand new fun symptom to add to the nausea. I'm not seeing midwife for my first appt till 31st May so booked in for an early scan on Monday, feel the need for some medical person the confirm the presence of an actual baby, I'll be 7+6 so hopefully far enough to get some sort of decent image and reassurance! x

m4rdybum · 16/05/2018 09:37

I've had my first mornin where I feel a bit off. Nothing major but I'm very tired (even though I slept like the dead last night) and done slight nausea/bellyache.

It seems to have settled down now I've had a drink of decaf coffee.

Anyone else struggling with the lack of caffeine?

bakingdemon · 16/05/2018 09:43

@m4rdybum I'd switched all but one of my (many) cups of tea to decaf before conceiving to try and wean myself off it in advance, so doing Ok. I do miss my occasional evening G&T though!

purplesmiler · 16/05/2018 09:48

@m4rdybum I have reduced my coffee and tea down to only 3/4 cups a day but haven't switched to decaf at this point. I used to drink 3 coffees just in the morning. Its taking me some time lol.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 16/05/2018 10:44

@sexnotgender, my nausea tends to come on worse during the afternoon generally accompanied by fatigue. I usually feel a little bit sick on a morning but that tends to go after I’ve eaten something.

I’m still drinking Yorkshire tea by the gallon Confused completely forgot about the caffeine thing. Perhaps I’d be best to purchase some decaf teabags. Goodbye earthly pleasures, hello decaf tea, healthy eating and celibacy.

LJFM2B · 16/05/2018 11:18

@Pearcrumble i am so sorry, its such an awful time - i can only hope that isnt the case but wish you all the luck what ever the outcome is. Take care of yourself.

LJFM2B · 16/05/2018 11:19

I have only had a little bit of feeling billious! but no actual sickness and nothing that has put me off food or anything... infact i am hungry most of the time!!

I have my viability scan this afternoon - SO NERVOUS

cryptonaut · 16/05/2018 11:24

I have bought a rather large and very informative pregnancy book. Regarding caffeine intake I have attached a very useful table from the healthy eating section.

@Iswallowtoothpaste I don't think celibacy is required. I have also attached some pics from the sex and relationships page in case anyone's a bit worried about that

Jebbs · 16/05/2018 11:53

So sorry @Pearcrumble xx Flowers

gemsparkle84 · 16/05/2018 12:44
