Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

@jellyfish my first was bang on time but this one will be planned section around 39 weeks so assuming it will actually be JUST before Christmas. What will be will be!

SophieStripe · 14/05/2018 18:19

I'm so worried!! Am 5+5 today and yesterday had some very light tan/creamy discharge. This afternoon it has turned a very light pink. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or has done previously? It's only when I wipe and I have no cramps. I took another pregnancy test yesterday evening which couldn't have been more positive (super super dark line) and have been feeling nauseous all day, which I am taking as positive signs. I'm so upset and worried though that things are heading the same way again after my MC 5 months ago. I know no one can actually tell me what is going to happen I just wanted to write it down... So scared.

m4rdybum · 14/05/2018 18:21

It just sounds like implantation spotting @SophieStripe. Just keep an eye out, but I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Bagpuss101 · 14/05/2018 18:53

Hi Everyone. I've just discovered I'm pregnant and due approx 10 January! We haven't told anyone yet and will probably wait until after the first scan. I'm really excited but really tired! :-)

m4rdybum · 14/05/2018 19:06

So was just about to get in the shower... my nipples appear to have doubled in size. Not the coloured bit around it, but the actual nipple ShockBlush

m4rdybum · 14/05/2018 19:06

Congrats @Bagpus101 - ignore my nipple outburst Grin

Penelopepitstop2306 · 14/05/2018 19:37

@jellyfish2210 I think half birthdays sound like a good idea. I don't think it's a bad thing to be near Christmas, my mum's is in December and my brother's is early jan and we always used to have such lovely family times over the Christmas period because we had so many fun activities and days together.

I have some period pain like cramps today which are different to the twinges I felt last week. I'm just trying to go with it and keep calm.

DH is planning tell his closest friends on Thursday. It will be very exciting to share the news. 😊

helloworld88 · 14/05/2018 20:01

I was moaning to my other half about no pregnancy symptoms (will probably regret that) and then decided to google my bruised tailbone...to find it is a symptom of pregnancy! 😂
Anyone else feeling this?

Penelopepitstop2306 · 14/05/2018 20:03

@helloworld88 I've never heard of that symptom. Do you have any back ache too? It's so strange all the different feelings we have.

I had thought that I would have a constant headache but haven't felt anything in my head or neck yet. Has anyone else?

helloworld88 · 14/05/2018 20:18

I do have a bit of backache but I use to have that before pregnancy sometimes too so not thinking too much about that being a symptom!

No head/neck aches here yet either!

PermanentlyExhaustedPigeon18 · 14/05/2018 20:56

@jellyfish2210 I'm with you on the half birthday thing.
Me and DH have such big families
And Christmas is always so expensive for us. I'm not sure how we'd cope and also
Feel a bit of guilt poor baba would have to wait basically all year before any presents. My sister in law is 24th Dec And my BF husband is 31st Dec, their birthdays always seem
To be eclipsed by the festivities

jellyfish2210 · 14/05/2018 21:02

@PermanentlyExhaustedPigeon18 it's the whole joint Christmas/birthday presents that I think would suck the most. I would worry that bubs wouldn't get the same as everyone else! Anything before the 20th Dec or after 5th jan would be fine. Avoiding the majority of the festivities. It will be what it will be though. So long as bubs is happy and healthy!

sexnotgender · 14/05/2018 21:11

My older daughter has a birthday on 2nd of January, she’s never had an issue with joint presents. Also she’s always off school on her birthday which is nice.

m4rdybum · 14/05/2018 21:30

I've had quite a few headaches @Penelope. I've been putting it down to me reducing my caffeine intake dramatically though.

cryptonaut · 14/05/2018 22:07

I've had a very gurgly stomach. It happened twice when trying to get to sleep before I found out and now I'm lying here with gurgle after gurgle. Had a bout of nausea last night and for past couple of days for dinner I've got about 3/4 way through and not wanted more despite not feeling full. It's very odd.

sexnotgender · 15/05/2018 06:34

I swear somebody has stolen my bladder and replaced it with a thimble!

Couldn't eat dinner last night as I was nauseous.

purplesmiler · 15/05/2018 08:00

@sexnotgender I know the feeling too cant be too far from a loo at the moment.

Went shopping with DH last night, now as a passenger I do struggle with car sickness but it was so much worse last night and we only went a few miles.

Catezxk · 15/05/2018 08:49

@cryptonaut I have been having the gurgly stomach as well! i'm only 5 weeks so constantly terrified i will see blood still. This is my first which is i think making it worse but i just want to get to 12 weeks as quickly as possible i hate this worry and waiting.

jellyfish2210 · 15/05/2018 09:07

Well today has not started off well. Woke up feeling so sick but didn't feel like I was going to be actually sick. Managed to get DH to make me a slice of toast which I ate half of. Felt slightly better, got up and dressed and into the car then vomited! All I can say is that I'm glad I put a bucket in the car for occasions such as this. We hadn't even made it out the driveway! Made it into work looking a total state and feeling very sorry for myself!!

ohhellojo · 15/05/2018 10:02

@purplesmiler @penelopepitstop2306 I have a massive headache pretty much all day everyday - almost like I’ve been squinting into the sun every hour my eyes are open 😞 and 🙌🏼 to not being the only one with car/motion sickness! I work in the transport industry and I have to stick my hand out the window half the time to calm my belly lol

ohhellojo · 15/05/2018 10:03

@jellyfish2210 hope you feel better as the day goes on!

sexnotgender · 15/05/2018 10:04

That’s rubbish jellyfish, hope you feel better soon.

Pearcrumble · 15/05/2018 14:05

Hi all, sorry sad post, think I'm having a miscarriage today. Spotting yesterday then strong cramps and heavy bleeding this morning. With clots. Ugh! (Sorry) Should be six and a half weeks, could be just five. Symptoms over the weekend and tests yesterday were faint...having a scan tomorrow to check. I probably won't be back on here, I'm very sad. Anyway, this is a bit grim, but on these early threads there is always some loss and I hope for everyone else that I've taken that spot, and you all will have healthy and happy time ahead.

Peachy92 · 15/05/2018 14:17

@loopdeelou @charlybs I know you don't start off by planning the due date but of all the months! We have 3 December birthdays and I'm the last day of January so I'm ok as it's usually pay day weekend! Hardly the end of the world I know but never a great financial month :/ but Ill take it and be happy 🤣🙈🤞🏻xx

charlybs · 15/05/2018 14:24

Sorry to hear that @pearcrumble - wishing you lots of luck going forward and sending you hugs xxx
