Sweaty and fretty- 3rd trimester safe place to whinge

Following on from the Itchy & bitchy 2nd trimester thread!

I'm now 25 + 6 weeks, so very nearly 6 months gone! 3 months remaining...

Morning sickness is still very present and I've been reminded of this 4-8 times a day all week.

On the plus side- movements are now very regular and I love them! Much lower down than I remember DC1 being- lots of bladder kicks which are /not/ fun.

Hows everyone else doing with the 3rd trimester?

Ha @twistedpink, I hear you with feeling like you’ve been punch in the vag. Felt like this for weeks.
@NooNooHead my Braxton Hicks are all in the front. Bump goes rock hard. Been having them since 20 weeks 😩 if the pains worsen or get regular get checked out, but it could just be the start of back ache from the strain of carrying.

I’m 38 weeks today and yesterday I could not stop crying. Hysterical, snotty, sobbing crying. I also wanted to murder my DH all day. It was exhausting! I did read somewhere that being overly emotional can mean labour is close. Hope so. I’ve moved into full waddle when I walk and the fanny daggers have moved up a notch. A very grump bank holiday weekend over all!!

Urghhh it's too hot, my ankles are swollen and I am sweaty and uncomfortable. I know we are supposed to love this weather and make the most of the few nice days we get in this country but I am just too hot.

Hi all sorry had a crazy 2 days!! Baby boy born this evening by c section, all 8 pounds 12 ounces of him are perfect and worth the extra wait

Today is my due date and no signs of baby yet, glad the weather is a little cooler today where I am though as the maternity unit is about 500 degrees at all times. How is everyone?

Congratulations smurphy! @creame, I'll try and link/post a picture of my dress when I have a bit less baby brain and the weather is less nice. I seem to have become computer illiterate and a in my pregnancy....

Just had a call from the hospital and my consultant is sick so they've had to cancel my appt tomorrow I didn't like the other consultant there, but I can see me having to see her now. I know it's not her fault she's sick but I'm annoyed!

I went to H&M yesterday and bought a thing cardie, a stretchy midi dress from their standard range which will hopefully tide me over afterwards too, and a maternity empire line dress. Hopefully that'll do me for now!

That sounds frustrating @CremeDeSudo I’d be annoyed too. Even though it’s just one of those things it sometimes feels like the universe is against you. Glad you could get some clothes though. I’m being stubborn and not Buying anymore but I torn my mat jeans in the crotch today so maybe I need to

I had three hours sleep last night as I was so hot and then DD woke with a temperature and spent the rest of the night in my bed. Like sleeping next to a dancing octopus. She even punched me in the eye at one point. Can’t see us doing much today!

I thought it was just me, my regular cry place is the shower, I feel like I'm in a Beyoncé music vid 😂 and partners. I don't know how mine hasn't been punched yet, the poor bloke hasn't even done anything!

Going to list off my 30 week rant.
-feels like baby is trying to kick through and pop the top of my abdomon, my ribs are involved in the struggle and she found some space last night outside my ribcage.
-I am defeated by walking up a slight incline.
-my boobs have not grown much but my rib cage has expanded so my bras now uncomfy and its too hot and busy to go to M&S and get a new bra, nowhere else sells them contemplated a new sports bra or bikini but none of them look comfy enough, been going braless and in my new maternity swimming costume a lot of the time. Last time I went into town, the market was on there were more people begging in the sunshine. Its not a poor town but homeless is a growing problem... There's a charity that provides free shelter so I sometimes give food but not money... Even had a woman who I made eye contact with, show me small note and tap on my elbow as a walked away!!! Wanted to turn round and slap her but she stopped a few seconds into it. She was right by the nice big issue seller lady, who sits there everyday in all weather and I've given money to before... Lost my new transision glasses at the market, they were lose so I'd been taking them off occasionally and was heading to the options to get them tightened....rant over... Has anyone bought bras online with any luck? I've measured my ribcage...
-I'm thirsty all the time and how often I need to pee varies depending on how the baby is lying.

• I also crave macdonalds ice cream and chips but the business of the place, means I can barely tolerate walking in without panicking.

-I've got loads of bills and paperwork to sort but I can't concentrate. Admin has never been my strength.

On the plus side...
I'm at home stocked up with ice pops, ice cream a dog and my mum is visiting this afternoon.

I'm not sticked up on dogmeat, he's alive and sleeping in his bed. I'm not quite that hungy yet and I'm on prescription iron

Oh, and I think an animal is burrowing under our bedroom... we are about to move out of this old rented bungalow..was creepy at night but it's defiantly not coming from inside...

@Embracethechaos having the same issue with bras! I'm going to have to get a new one for the last few weeks! Looks like I've slice myself around my ribs at the end of the day! Today I ordered my first maternity clothes haha I've been desperate not to spend money on them but I've had too lol.
So I got two pies of maternity leggings and two tshirts... probably should have got these a while ago. So much more comfortable!

Went to take the dog for a walk in my new tshirt and it pissed down. Just my luck!!!!
I ate a pack of 4 double deckers today........ 😫😫😫

I have no summer clothes that bloody fit 😭😭😭

I actually feel pretty good I. Myself but iron low so will need to start supplements.

All I want to do is build nursery furniture but even I know my limits.(though I did make one tiny unit)

Twisted pink, glad I'm not the only one eating mulitpacks of chocolate. Mine was snickers, bars are so much smaller than they used to be. Felt good today after being at home wearing no bra most of the day then just a few hours in my bra and a big floaty dress after my afternoon shower to go shopping. I am getting myself a bowl of cereal now, bought mostly fresh, healthy food but also a box of cinnamon Grahams, and some doughnuts. I'm bored of my musili and sugar free granola. Had a baked camonbeeg with veg and bread for dinner, need a snack.

Having one of them days today tired, drained, not a pick of energy, if it can fall onto the floor it does, in a shitty mood, been craving slush puppies all day any shop i know does them either the machines wasnt working or the traffic outside was too busy 😢 managed to get the energy to clean the floors & bathroom yay me!!! Also ive munching on the chocolate too!!

Well done @lmx0 , you should be proud! It's hard when you have no energy!

I woke up this morning with bad lower back ache and period cramps. They have been on and off all day as well as (TMI) something downstairs is leaking and I don't know if it is my waters, discharge or a bit of wee! What is going on?! I just feel broken!

Those with bra issues - have you tried bra back extenders? They were good for me for a while until they grew everywhere!

Only 7 days left in the office now as working from home the remaining says. Just about to go to bed. Honestly, the commute and 10min walk to the office kill me!

I've discovered Boost bars recently. I feel they've been massively underrated!

I also only started having boost bars after starting working long shifts at the hospital. I love truffles and boosts are great. Before that lion bars were my favourite, I see more boosts than lions around thesse days, snickers was my 'healthy choice' chocolate bar, as I was struggling with sugar rushes the peanuts made them a much better snack.

Thanks creame. I'll be looking into those bra extenders, they sound ideal as the cup size is a perfect fit.
